Fantastic Car
This is the first Subaru we've ever bought, and we have no regrets about it. It's a fantastic car, and that's even before you look at how much value it offers; for example, a similarly optioned Ford Fusion costs upwards of $5 thousand dollars more! And the features aren't even as good or refined. The Eyesight adaptive cruise is awesome, and it is completely worth the extra money. The Harman/Kardon sound system is better than some in more expensive cars. The interior is roomy and the seats are very comfortable, and even the rear seats are heated. That's something you don't see in some $60 thousand Mercedes! The navigation system is really good, and it's easy to use. On that note, the rear vie
2015 Legacy - First time Subaru Owner
Extreme Disappointment and regret buying a Subaru. Atrocious Quality. 1. Burning smell from engine & snow water entering engine bay Discovered snow/water entering engine bay/compartment while driving in snow. Serious safety risk to electrical components. Contacted Subaru of America no response yet. Filed NHTSA complaint. 2. Water leak in foot well of cabin. 3. Awful wind noise driving above 40mph. Defective moldings replaced on all doors by dealer per TSB. 4. Moonroof - above 60 mph moonroof whistles loud. Dealer adjusted. 5. Defect driver lumbar; dealer inspected and determined faulty parts from factory - on order.

Just purchased a 2015 legacy loaded
Haven't had it a full month and the cruise control will not engage and the sensors that monitor traffic around you need replacing and a software update. So far Subaru is not impressing me at all. Considering all these issues and the money spent for this vehicle Subaru might as well give me a full refund.
Gas filler door
I love my car but wintertime and the temperature gets low the gas filler door doesn't want to open. I called local deal to see what to do. I was told that was a problem but to use my credit card. I did and it cracked it. No solution. Needs to be fixed

Absolutely love my car!
I purchased this car two years ago shortly after graduating college. I spent a lot of time researching to find one that met all my requirements. It's stylish, handles well, AWD, sun/moon roof, technology..etc. I test drove one and immediately fell in love. I live in Michigan with a 40 minute commute to work, so I wanted to make sure my car handled well in the snow. Let me tell you, I have not been fully scared once. Yesterday for example, I was driving about 30/35mph and I saw the car ahead of me twist and turn (didn't really know what had just happened) then they turned the corner. All of a sudden my back end slid out to my left and right back into place. I did absolutely nothing. When I test drove the car a second time two years ago the salesman told me it is nearly impossible to spin this car out. We tried. I also pull about 30mpg right now in the cold and in the summer time I can get around 32-34 depending on my driving habits. Currently driving about 50-60 miles a day I spend maybe $35 a week in gas. Highly highly highly recommend this car! Or any Subaru for that matter! They hold their resale value too! But I'll probably be driving mine for as long as I can!

Enjoyable Full Sized Sedan
Subaru's Legacy 3.6R Limited is an excellent choice to compete favorably with upper end Fords, Chevrolets, Nissans, and Toyotas. Typically, prices are less for Subaru than for equally-equipped competitors. With Eyesight and other safety features, Subaru is a leader in safety. Ride comfort approaches even the Lexus ES series. Trunk space abounds. Zero to 60 with the 3.6R Limited engine is outstanding. Subaru's four-wheel drive is great for winter driving in the mountains. The navigation system is impressive. Rated at a combined 25 MPG for city/highway use, my experience mirrors that average. Count on replacing the tires at 20,000 to 22,000 miles to maintain this car's solid safety performance.

Disappointed with this
I bought this car to last a long time. Unfortunately, I recently decided to sell it. This car had a few minor problems really early in its life: most notably, the gas tank lid would not open in the cold when you pressed the open button, there was some rattle in the cabin brand new from the lot. The rattle went away. The gas tank lid problem went away by itself after around 2 years - there was a service bulletin out for this issue and it may have been fixed on the sly by a dealer. I was diligent about maintaining this vehicle because I really wanted to own it for a long time. Ignoring small software bugs, some other things happened that made me lose faith in this car. About 4.5 years in, the electric window on the passengers side in the first row went. The fan also started chiriping in the first row on the passenger side. The dealer was trying to tell me about a grand of preventative maintenance at the same time around the 40k mark. I sold the thing needing this grand of maintenance, the chirp repair and window repair, and new brakes and tires. I maintained this car and always got an oil change on time/early (5k miles with synthetic), as well as other smaller preventative maintenance. I was really disappointed it started going bad the second I paid the loan off. I wanted to buy Subarus for life, but I wont be buying another between the maintenance issues and the software bugs with the GPS I ignored.

2015 Legacy
My Subaru has been well loved with no issues other than the trunk height and the horn not being aggressive enough :). Around 100k you will need a head gasket repair before you have major issues. Dealership has quoted the job for 2,300.00 :(

Great car.
Great car. 2 years and I still love my legacy. I wish the acceleration was better but it's still not bad for 2,5 4 cylinder. I'm waiting legacy ft to upgrade.

Mandatory review title
Nice car, feels pretty new and updated. I had a 2012 Acura TL but this has almost all the same luxury options and some that the TL did not. If you've never had/drove a CVT before it takes a little to get used to how it feels and sounds. Been getting great gas mileage. We drove it 1,100 miles over the weekend and was pretty comfortable. Also use it for short trips around town, we've been very pleased with MPG. It's got a tendency to be eager off the line, to some that's a good or bad thing which is why I point it out. Ive not had this for years like I've had my Hondas/Acuras but so far loving it, which is bigger praise than it might seem as I'm a guy who hates change
