I am happy with 2015 Legacy

Overall I am very satisfied with a car. 6 cylinders provide enough power. However car does not feel as sporty as my 2006 Accord EX V6. On another hand it provides more quite and comfortable ride (still not like a Lexus, but good enough). Some reviewers complained about a wind noise. To my opinion the wind noise is normal. Fuel economy (with 20-29 mpg expected): I have in town 22 mpg; highways (with activated cruise control) - 30.5 mpg cruising with speed 55 ml/h and 28 mpg at 72 ml/h.

Car burns oil and Subaru could care less

I will never purchase another Subaru. For 4 times in a row, my Subaru Legacy has had the oil level low after driving only approximately 4000 miles. I drive on highways only to work and do not by any means drive my car "hard". The last time the oil level low light came on, I took my car to the dealership immediately and was told there was a problem and my car was eating oil. They were reaching out to Subaru to have them fix the problem. To fix the problem, my car would need a new block. There was a class action lawsuit for the model year before my 2015 Legacy. Subaru insists there is no problem, despite speaking to a customer service representative and a supervisor as well. Why should my car consistently need oil after 4000 miles? Clearly a problem and Subaru is unconcerned with the issue, despite the dealership also confirming this is a problem. The Subaru supervisor's answer was "maybe someone at the dealership mis-spoke and made an assumption too early and was new". However in this case the dealership service head said there was a problem. I will never buy another Subaru again, nor will my husband who owns a Subaru. My first and only Subaru experience will be my last due to their terrible disregard of customer service and satisfaction.

Still after 8 years the best car I have ever owned

I currently have 104,000 miles on the car. This is my third Legacy and fifth Subaru, each one is better then the last one. I traded in my 2004 legacy with 212,000 miles on it and it was the best car I had owned. This one is the very best so far. The only major problem was at 70,000 miles I had to replace the rear wheel bushings. The car is very quiet, good riding, very economical, and the 4 cylinder engine has a lot of pep despite the all wheel drive and 3500 pound weight of the car. I would not change anything and would buy this again or the Outback in a heartbeat. It is amazing that so many people go and buy Toyotas or Hondas without checking this car out. This is the most satisfying car I have ever owned in over 60 years of driving. I sound like a Subaru salesman but give this car a chance and you will become a fan. My brother in law was so impressed by it, that he bought a new 2020 Legacy and is crazy about it. I love this car so much, that i will keep it until it's wheels fall off or my wheels fall off.

Great fit and finish...although it was dented easy by passenger getting out while refueling...didn't take much... Didn't buy a sports car and the 4 boxer is tried and true...The CVT takes getting used to... The tech in this car might have saved me as a large truck switched lanes without warning and the Eye Sight feature did the braking ... when backing it senses objects behind and to the side even if they are moving...blind spots are no more...but look still...lane departure is a bit sensitive but I can live with it...The heated seats stay on even on restart... plenty of trunk space... so far a good car.... UPDATE: Everything still the same ...pleasure to drive ! Uses about a Quart of oil between changes.

At 81000 miles car still runs great. Use it mostly for longer trips.
