Used 2004 Subaru Impreza Consumer Reviews
Total Package
I like the way my WRX Wagon handles the corners, Iv only got it to drift on drit roads which was easy to controll. As far as power when I need to pass I hit the turbo at 4000 rpm and Im gone. It took a little while for me to get ajusted to the clutch and power band. The AC works well The kids feel it in the back right away, have"nt need heater yet.
Performance for the rest of us
The STi is by far the most performance value for your dollar. At roughly $100/horsepower, you will be challenged to find something else that competes (with the exception of the Mitsubishi EVO). This car is by far the most fun to drive of any turbocharged car I've owned. Running out of corners in 2nd gear with the All Wheel Drive will put a huge grin on your face every single time you do it. There are other performance cars out there such as the Nissan 350Z that are close. But the STi offers a standard cart-your-friends around 4-door (I carry both my kids car seats in mine) that you don't get with most sports cars. Bottom line is this car is a blast to drive, and is affordable.
no.4
This is my 4th subaru (3 Legacies before). Loved them all, but this one is the most fun I've had since my old Mazda RX2.
The RS 2.5
I purchased the RS earlier this year and i have never been more impressed with a car which is an underdog to its cousins. the engine provides good torque and is quick off the line aswell with the AWD.
Impreza sti
Car was great, until a month ago. The car is only 5 months old and I had to have it tuned up 3 times- oil leak, problematic fuses and a faulty odometer! This car is a 2004! , I am disappointed. I regret buying this car.
