Used 1994 Saturn S-Series Sedan Consumer Reviews
I Got A Car !!
I bought this car a couple of months ago and so far I love it. When I bought it the driver side seat belt was the only thing that didn't work. It also got 39 mpg on the highway. Go buy a Saturn SL2, you'll love it!!
183000 miles!
This was the first real car I bought (meaning, it wasn't a $700 piece of junk or given to me by my sister). I have had it since 1997 (bought for $10,000) and it now has 183,000 miles. It has served me well for 7 years and I would probably keep it but minor things are starting to go wrong and I just don't want to keep putting money into it (the sunroof is broken, the window sticks sometimes, etc.) But, I have NEVER replaced the clutch...and have mainly done simple routine maintenance.
This is a GM?
I just bought this little car about 6 months ago, with 222,000 on the odo(all highway). I just rolled 225,000, and as of yet have had no problems. The only thing wrong when I bought it was the passenger motor mount was bad. So after changing that and a full tune-up, I have to say I'm amazed how well it runs for a domestic of this mileage. Great on gas, fun to drive, and the interior actually makes sense. I think I'll hold on to it while, even if it ends up needing a motor eventually.
She's a keeper
I purchased my car from my in-laws; the odometer had stopped at 123001 mi.It has been all over the country and has had no major repairs. The leather interior has 1 small tear, this was caused by my tall Father- in-law trying to get out/in w/ a bad hip.The paint is gold and is chipping badly. But the car is 10 and has never been garaged.I(my husband) just changed the rear calipers,it was leaking brake fluid and would not stop. But he made the job look pretty simple. The oil is changed by the dealer every 3 to 5 months and she seems to be doing wonderfully. My car still has the cup holder but I can tell why many reviewers'don't.The performance switch does nothing
My New Baby
Bought this car about two months ago. Love it! Was unsure if i would like it because i was still attached to my '97 Plymouth Neon that i absolutely adored. Sold it for a truck.. regret that one. But this car is sleek, sexy, easy to add performance and make it fast. I painted the rims black to match the near black dark, dark blue. I also painted all four of the brake calipers red. Altered the intake, K&N filter, Spectre intake tubes, brand new Bosch +2 (dual prong) plugs, and cleaned injectors and throttle body make this car get up and go. Dont have the oil burning problem, but gas mileage isnt amazing(25+). Love a good, fun car to drive and care for and this is the one! Thanks Saturn!
