2005 ION3 Sedan - Auto

The car has taut handling, is tight and rattle-free, and I like the clear line- of-sight to the center instrument console. The car is great in traffic and very responsive when accelerating. I took it into the mountains and it handled a 4000' climb with ease. It was a great buying experience and because leather was retro-fitted by the dealer I was allowed to choose from swatches giving me a two-tone interior with perforated leather in the center section with foam 1/4" thicker than standard. I like the revised grille for 2005. I'm getting 27+ mpg.

I love my Saturn

I have had nothing but a good experience with my Saturn. It is a very reliable car with great features. The only drawback I have found is the lack of power. I had a hard time driving up the grapevine. The car was struggling to get up the long hill.

What we thought it would be....and more

We first saw the ION at the Auto Show in Houston in early February. The value and sharp looks attracted my wife and I to it right away. She was already driving a Saturn and loved it so we looked into getting her the ION. It's been just over a month and we absolutely love it. Handles extremely well and is very fun to drive. Guage cluster in the middle of the dash is different , but nice. Without a doubt, one of the best decisions we've ever made.

Absolutely satisfied with ION!

It is my first new vehicle purchase and I have to say that getting a Saturn ION 3 has been the best choice. From the moment I walked into the dealership I felt extremely comfortable, the sales people where genuinely interested in my best interest rather than the sale of a car. I also did my research prior to buying and I am satisfied with the performance of the ION. It's truly a fun car to drive. I have had my ION for about a month now and so far I have no complaints on the car or the dealership. It is nice to know that I had a great experience on the purchase of my first car. The ION is a reliable car for the price.

BAD PLASTIC CAR!

I bought my Saturn ION Level 2 a little over a year ago, and about 6 months after owning it, every time I turned around, something else was going wrong with it. The engine bucking, clicking noises when driving, road noise, crappy cd/radio, doors unable to shut after being opened, broken hood latch...did I mention EVERYTHING in this car seems to be made of plastic except for the engine? I will NEVER buy another Saturn again.
