Used 2004 Saturn ION Consumer Reviews
great car
The saleswoman was wonderful. I owed a lot more on my trade in than it bluebooked for and she got me four hundred!!! dollars more than any other dealership bacause of the condition and the new tires, etc.
saturn ion
bought it for my daughter, has a a four speed standard trans thats really easy to drive(and fun! )great on gas, handles real well, rear drs swing out opposite front drs, fairly roomy for a small car, and it has an upgraded stereo system. 0% financing for 5 yrs made it a real sweet deal.
Edmunds is Rude
If you havent noticed by now, every compact/economy car, the edmunds ratings have been "sub-par." whatever, i guess if you compare the saturn ion to lets say a lexus, than hmmm, maybe it is a little less than---maybe perfect! But lets be realistic, what do you expect for $17000. Anyway, this is my second saturn, the first trade in was a 97 sl2 with 180000 miles! This one will take that trip as well. I love saturn, i love the ion, and my next will be the Vue. GO ION!!!!
Love It
This car is fun to drive around. It is a small car, but when you drive it, you forget you are in a small car. Nothing can compare to the costumer service you get when you go to a Saturn dealership too. The best part is no haggling. While this if my first Saturn, in all liklihood it will not be my last.
An excellent car at a great price
I bought my Ion earlier this month. I traded in a 2001 Honda Civic LX. Despite what I read in road tests, the seats are very comfortable, the ride and handling are both excellent and the center-mounted instruments are no better or worse than conventional instruments, just different. The updated steering is nearly as good as my old Civic's. I'm getting 29-30 mpg in mostly city driving. After three Hondas in a row, I have no regrets buying a Saturn.
