2025 Porsche 911 Consumer Reviews

There are sports cars...and then there is the 911
My 992.1 C2S cabriolet is simply an experience unto itself. This is my first Porsche, after owning a Mustang, a Corvette, two Audi TTs, and an Audi RS5 coupe. None of these equal the experience of driving a 911. As others have described, the handing and road hugging, the acceleration, the steering feel, the powerful brakes, the sound of the flat six boxer, the amazing 8-speed PDK transmission, the adaptive suspension and torque-vectoring sport differential all combine to make the 911 the gold standard sports car on a mountain road or a track, but just also fine for a trip to the grocery store (you like being in this car so much that you will take everywhere and even just sit in it in the garage!). Storage space isn't that bad for a sports car. The frunk can hold two full size rollaboards and the back seats can take more. I find the mixed use of well engineered toggle buttons, touch screen, and the presence of a small but still very useful rotary dial for also navigating the screen to work very well. The small gear selector on the center console gets a lot of criticism, but it actually is ergonomically quite good. It is positioned just right, does not hinder access to the HVAC controls in front of it, and is made of the same quality materials and has the same nice tactile feel as the toggle switches. You only use it to switch between D, N and R or to quickly flick it to go from manual mode to drive mode. Gear shifting is done with the paddles, so you don't need a big gear lever in the center of the car. The design of the convertible top is pure genius. It has magnesium alloy plates in each of the three sections giving it great strength, sound deadening, and this helps maintanin the classic curvature when up that thee coupe is known for, and it and goes up and down in 12 seconds. The wind proofing is amazing, The 992.1 models introduced an integrated, electric windscreen that is very effective and convenient to use. I have had this car for over 1 year now and it has been completely reliable. I agree that a C2S is an excellent choice for the majority of buyers, but having read the initial very enthusiastic reviews of the innovative 992.2 GTS, I now have an allocation for a 2025 C4S GTS t-hybrid cabriolet. I will miss my current car, but am excited about the significant advances that the new GTS will bring.

Most fun in a car since high school
I've had 3 911's, starting in 1968. Each one is better than the previous one. Faster, handles better, great to look at, easy to drive, lasts a long time. They have always been my everyday driver. This 2021 911S is so fun, it seems illegal. Plenty of power, brakes strong and straight, corners with the best of them, just a blast to drive. Expensive, yes. However this will last me 15 years easily. YOLO, go for it if you can.

All you could want.
The 2020 911 Carrera S is an outstanding high performance quality grand touring car. Edgy enough for track days or long distance driving trips. With the current bad weather we haven’t got the 911 out much at all. But it is a beauty to behold, even in the garage!!!!

Paul’s toy
I recently purchased a new 2022 911 Carrara 4s cabriolet and I couldn’t be happier. I was looking at a new corvette first but I couldn’t get a delivery date on it, so I bought the Porsche and sooo happy I did. I will own a Porsche until the day I die then my grandson will get it
2022 Posche 911 Carrera S is simply phenomenal
I’ve owned everything from an Aston Martin Vantage, GT500 and even a Ferrari 458 Italia …. If I had to pick only ONE car… it’s the 911. Build quality is excellent, performance is outstanding and the pure enjoyment of driving is amazing. I purchased the S model with the Heritage Design interior. The only downside is the corduroy seats can be more difficult to clean. 0-60 in the car is amazingly fast. Braking and feedback through the steering wheel is outstanding. Visibility out of the car is top notch too. It literally is THE best car I’ve ever owned bar none.
