Used 2015 Nissan Sentra S 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 6M) Consumer Reviews
6 speed manual
I can now speak to the long term aspects as have only owned my car for over two years. When I bought it I could not find any reviews on gas mileage. I currently own a 2014 Camry SE. While not quite as comfortable and roomy as the Camry, it is fun to drive and in the in town mileage is 35.5 mpg. I like the cruise control location much better on the Sentra and it still is comfortable, quiet and the trunk is roomy for its side. At 50, it will get will get 50 miles per gallon. For an inexpensive car, there is no equal. I shopped Corolla, Civic, and Focus. No issues in over 2 years. Great little car to use around town.

Buyng & Driving the car was easy, dealing with WC
I would recommend this car. I feel that it is a good car for the price. However, I would not recommend buying it from Wesley Chapel Nissan. Everyone there was very pleasant and all were accommodating while I was there. Since leaving the dealership, which was about one month ago, I have not been able to get anyone to return my calls or emails.

Nightmare Nissan. Never again.
Pros: Decent ride. Cons: -Poor acceleration. If you back off accelerator then press the pedal again there is a 1-2 second hesitation. Is dangerous at stop signs and annoying on highway. -Transmission slides into gear and can be jerky and slapping. No solid gear grabbing like an American car. -Paper thin exterior paint (hood is already chipping). -Glove box is huge, but it's mostly door with very little interior shelf storage space. -Car is drafty like an old house. Even with interior heat settings I feel the occasional cold breeze (not a/c). -Average gas mileage is 28mpg (rated at 33/40). -Telescoping steering wheel barely extends, I had to move seat forward to comfortably reach wheel. -Visors are so tall (almost 10 inches) that you have to duck your head to move visor from windshield to side window. Not a very safe design. Also, they're not long enough side-side to block sun from top corner on windshield. -Poor back support in front seats. I have to use pad or packing bubble for proper support. Cause you to slouch on drives lasting more than 5 minutes. -Heat control is very poor. Car will not hold a steady temperature; uneven heat from vents. I am constantly tweaking the heat dial. -Biggest con is that when I turn on the windshield defroster, the A/C comes on and you cannot turn it off! When you switch to defrost the A/C actually kicks in & the temperature drops 25 degrees. Literally! I complained to dealer and to Nissan and was told that this was normal and there was no fix. They said it was designed so the dry A/C air would defrost the windows faster. Who does that? Chicago in January & the last thing I need is the A/C running. (I bought the car in the warm weeks of October, who thinks to check the heater?) -Passenger whistles when there is a cross wind. -I can get around the lacking back support & short reaching steering wheel, but the poor mileage, noisy window & the incredibly annoying HVAC controls/design make this the worst car I have ever owned. I bought my first car in 1970, so that's saying a lot. -My first NEW car in 25 years, and I had to walk into a Nissan dealer. Never again.

Horrible Car - Premature Transmission Failure
Rating it again...premature failure of the CVT transmissions...do yourself a big favor and stay away from all Nissans...they are a crooked car manufacturer.
