Owned a 1992 model for about 10 years. Incredible little car. Quick, great handling, great mileage. The SR20 is one of the best engines Nissan ever made. Well deserving of CarAndDriver's 10Best award. I used mine for amateur motorsports. It did everything well. Autocross, track, whatever. It was excellent.

My aunt died this past year at 101 years old, no one wanted her car but, I did. All I did was get it painted , replaced all 4 tires , they were 16 years old. When it was given to me it only had 75,023 miles on it , her name is Ruby and we are driving all the time she runs great no problems with leaks or oil consumption has plenty of power coming from the twin cam , we have been getting 30 plus MPG .My wife loves it and it saves mileage on her 2011 Maxima

Problem Tranny, No UV Protection

Trasmission will stick in third gear (not good when going 90 km/h on highway) when you floor it. You need to be gentle and let the car shift for you. Very Inconvenint for the speedy driver. Also car was not given UV protection so clearcoat is peeling away. Makes car look like crap
