Agree.........the A/C is Pathetic
I refrained from writing a review on my Rogue as I've only had it 4 months but having read the previous reviewers gripe with the A/C, I decided to add my two cents. I live in Virginia and although this has been a mild summer in terms of heat, the A/C in my Rogue takes about 15 minutes to cool the cabin to a comfortable temperature. I took the car to the dealership and had them investigate. They said the A/C was cooling to 40 degrees as it was supposed to and by the service writer's own admission, on a really hot day, it could take 20 minutes for the cabin to cool. In addition, I can't dial back the blower speed because the cabin never gets that cold. As Edmunds sent me an email to update this review, I would now add that the car has had 3 recalls since purchase, one was software related and one was the fuel pump. I have a friend who works in the automotive business in Detroit and in March 2015 he sent me a letter written from NHTSB to Nissan recommending they replace fuel pumps because of some safety issues they found. I called the dealership to ask about the recall and they said there were none. Exactly ONE YEAR later, I got a recall notice from Nissan about the pump but the parts wouldn't be available for 3 more months. I wonder how many other auto manufacturers get away with recalls like this?

please say no to nissan CVT.
before you buy please test drive at at 30 to 40 speed in low RPM. if you geel the viabration just don't buy. please listen to me you won't regret. it has cvt shifting problem and viabration. went to dealer and they couldn't help me to fix this issue. according to them nissan made it like that for better fuel economy. i had 2012 rogue and wanted to give nissan a second chance and bought 2014 rogue sl awd. total waste of money. driving this with frustration and irs so annoying. again please don't go by the looks and don't buy it. nissan should stop making cvt.

Nissan Fan Until 2014
I've had this car for 10 months now and have already had various issues. The navigation/entertainment system stopped working suddenly for about 24 hours (3 times), still does on and off. I loved the idea that it was SXM ready. In Puerto Rico the SXM satellite radio does not work, Nissan did not associate with Sirius XM in the area. Sunroof started making noise, back took to repair shop, they un-assembled it, a month passed and noise started again, back to shop, still fighting the battle. I've been stopped by Cops 2 times, low head lights too bright. Very depressing when you purchase a new vehicle and it gives you many problems. I'm no longer a Nissan Fan. Anyone else with these issues?
Goodbye, Ford
Traded out of a very troublesome 2013 Escape into the Rogue SL with Nav. Comapring to the Escape, the Nissan has a bit more hard plastic, but the overall feel of 'quality' is better. The ride is noticeably smoother, even with much higher than suggested tire pressure. Also much quieter, both as to wind noise and tire/road noise. The CVT transmission seems a bit sluggish when shifting, but is very smooth. Fuel economy so far is steady at 26mpg combined, and a bit over 29 at 70mph... which is very good for a brand new vehicle.
Buyer Beware
Logged over 10,000 miles on this vehicle: now the problems have surfaced. Tailgate malfunction, brake system, Navi malfunction and shutdown.. good luck trying to get problems resolved.
