Used 2011 Nissan Rogue SUV Consumer Reviews
Tickled with my Rogue
Just rolled over 1000 miles on my Rogue, still loving it. I traded a 2006 V6 Altima (the Rogue is my 4th Nissan) and my only quibble is this - wish Nissan put a turbocharger on the Rogue like they do on the Juke. I drove a Juke and liked it but was on the small side. MGP is fine and it is so comfortable on the road. I'm a 5'2" female and can adjust the seats and mirrors just fine.
Worst Vehicle Ever
What a steaming pile of crap this car is. Nothing is well done on this car. Tinny sounding doors, electrical system with glitches galore, parking brake system completely rusted out with no hope of replacement, massive body rust, don’t even get me started on the “squirrel cage” they call a transmission-the dreaded CVT. The doors are constantly closing in your face. Is there any redeeming feature to this car? Probably not. What a horror. As we speak, I’m looking for a cliff I can push this car off as my final send off. Never again, Nissan. FYI-I called Nissan for a little help with this car-They didn’t want anything to do with it!!! I contacted a Nissan dealership to also ask for their help-They told me to drive the car until it doesn’t run then scrape it. Thanks guys!!!

Don’t do it-walk away while you can!
I thought my worst car was a chevy chevette which blew a piston clear out if the engine block and straight threw the hood! This Rogue is badly designed and uncomfortable. More importantly everything is very cheaply made. My comparison is Honda which I have driven for years. They told me at the Nissan dealership this is a throwaway car-drive to 100,000 then get a new one! Now to find it has clearly the worst transmission on the planet is even more distressing. Don’t buy this car.
Very Impressed after 15K miles
This is actually my wife's car, but I am often "allowed" to drive it. We also use it on long trips from North Carolina to the midwest. Since purchased, it has had absolutely no problems or defects whatsoever, a first for any car I have ever purchased new. The fuel economy is excellent in city driving (25) and decent on the highway (30). Like the interior and exterior styling. Plenty of leg room, even in the back, for its size. Fit and finish is good, and it performs well for only having a 4 cylinder motor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone looking for a good midsized SUV that gets sedan mileage.
Nissan Rogue Rocks
I have only had my Rogue for a couple weeks, but am extremely pleased with the comfort and ease of handling. I was worried because I've never driven a larger vehicle, but the Rogue is easier than my cars which included Mazdas & Fords. Mine has the backup map which I love and the SV package. Love this vehicle and highly recommend it. I drove 130 miles before the gas measure moved off full!
