Used 2017 Nissan Pathfinder SUV Consumer Reviews
Great Car
I upgraded to the Pathfinder from an AWD Murano. I opted for the FWD this time. Great decision on my part and my Pathfinder gets around 25 MPG. I pull an open motorcycle trailer hauling 2 Harley’s and it pulls them wonderful, you can hardly tell they are back there. This is just an overall great car that I have had no issues with at all. Very roomy on the inside. Would definitely purchase another one.
My Experience so far
2017 Nissan Pathfinder, great handling and I love the room.

Worst Junk We Ever Owned
Certified pre-owned, bought it for wife grocery getter, 30k miles. Looked great, 4wd, good interior room, never abused, garage kept, never towed. Next 10k miles: transmission failed, radiator leaked, almost everything with front suspension replaced, massive undercarriage rusting, muffler fell off, side mirror adjust button broke, fog light wiring, rear door hinge, front brake issues.Major parts under warranty or extended warranty. After transmission and brakes replaced, still not correct. Vehicle always hunts for a gear, jerky. Braking is weird. Sometimes will hesitate on aceleration. When its first started regardless of outside temperature it tachs up to 4k rpm, was told this is normal self check, im sure this is great for for the engine when its below zero, no wonder Nissan had engine oil gunking issues. Worst SUV we ever owned. We have a field only truck, 1975 Ford F250 thats more reliable than this Nissan.Junk, over priced, underpowered. I hope Nissan goes bankrupt, going to "dump" it at loss.

Great Value
I bought this Pathfinder SV in 2017 new with 2 miles on it. It has proven itself reliable. It has been in the shop for zero repairs and now has 91,400 miles. I have changed the battery, tires and brakes all around.I would recommend this vehicle for towing (6000 lbs) and power (V6). I have 4WD on demand and works fine. I get 24.9 mpg city highway mileage.

Sv version too basic but great car
I love so many things about this car. We have taken it camping and skiing and handles anything we give it. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the sv is 4x4 but doesn't have a compass and the seats hurt my back and hips for long rides.
