This car has been a great value!
We purchased a 2012 Nissan Murano SL for $34,000 during super storm Sandy... We've been driving the car for 13 years now and it has over 150,000 miles on it... Great driving experience, looks good to us, and very comfortable... The only reliability issues have been a new alternator at 90,000 miles, and a new air conditioning compressor that the dealer damaged while changing the alternator out... Otherwise, just tires, brakes, wiper blades, and other normal wear items...

Not what we exoected
Bottom line, here's what we're disappointed with: Leather seats are nice, but stiff and not comparable to the comfort in Volvo, BMW, VW or Lexus. Very noisy cabin...as bad on the highway as the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe we were replacing. The rear view is definitely compromised...and seems dangerous. Exterior design sacrifices size for a sleek look, making it more difficult to park and maneuver than it should be. Navigation not user friendly. Dealership didn't give accurate info about the pricing incentives, making us decide on this vehicle prematurely. MPG disappointing. Would we buy it again? No way.
A no lift liftgate
We like our 2012 Nissan Murano but the liftgate won't go up. Took it to a Nissan dealer today and after 3 hours THEY couldn't open it. Looks like we are stuck with a liftgate that won't lift.
