Used 2019 Nissan Kicks Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Not worth it
I made a huge mistake in trading in my 2015 Nissan Altima for a Kicks. It is not near as comfortable riding in, the acceleration is pure garbage, and yes gas milage is good but I find myself having to fill my tank more often. I miss my car that is 4 years older than the Kicks and that's pretty sad. 0/10 do not recommend.

Very uncomfortable
I had this car as a rental for 2 weeks as my 2017 Altima had transition issues. I noticed after a couple of days that my neck and back were very sore. The seats are not made for comfort. I am 5’3” with a petite figure and the seats have no upper back support causing soreness. I drive a lot for a living (home hospice nurse) and drive on average 100-300 miles per day. I travel on major highways in the Chicago area and this car has no get up and go. The only reason I gave it 2 starts is because the cargo space is adequate despite this being such a compact car. Also, the gas mileage is great. In the city I am getting 32-33 mpg. Luckily this car was just a rental. On a side note- I will never buy another Nissan! They have poor customer service at the corporate level and their cars are so cheaply made that I drove rental more than my car. I felt obligated to trade in my brand new Altima with 50k miles as the warranty was almost up. I took my losses as to not have to pay more for repairs or an extended warranty.

Stylish Slug
This car has a good outside profile and I really like the interior. The car handles well around town. That is the extent of its pluses. Unfortunately, the car has virtually no power. Do not attempt to pull out in front of anyone. The body is tin metal cheap with the gas cap cover showing signs of stress wear within the year - ridiculous. The CVT transmission will drive you nuts with hard shifts and frequent sticking in a particular gear - took it back and was told this is normal? Nissan may make a few good cars, but this is not one of them.

2019 Nissan Kicks
Overall it's a nice car that has good acceleration on the highway for passing slower vehicles. The only bad thing is the instrument panel. If it's sunny out it is very difficult to read the screen and use the prompts. The backing up camera is useless also on a sunny day as screen is unreadable. My car came with all season radials tires but they are terrible in the snow so next winter I'm getting snow tires.
