Used 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Consumer Reviews
Mitsu will capture you
I have always loved Mitsubishis, very dependable underrated vehicles. I've owned many and still have a 91 Gsx awd Turbo. So when I found a v6 gt 2014 for a steal I jumped on it. Great car all the bells and whistles,Awd,v6 and it runs great, I don't like SUVs with wimpy 4cylinder engines, maybe if it was a turbo. But I'll happily Sacrifice some gas mileage for a v6. I have a 4.7 V8 Jeep awd, that's really too much. So this was a perfect compromise,I also knew Mitsubishi has a long history with awd and even v6 engines, from all their partnerships over the years. What comes to mind is diamond star, and the Dodge avenger,I also owend with a v6,good car. I get compliments on how smooth this outlander runs, even at 8years old and some miles. I added a remote starter, upgraded speakers and added a power sub, great sound. Comfortable seats, plenty of room, good fuel economy, great reliability. Highly recommend a outlander gt v6
Undiscovered gem.
The 2015 Outlander es has been the best car I have owned. Now, at just over 60,000 miles, not one problem or defect. I always buy brand-new cars and this is the only one with no initial adjustments or problems. It is hard for me to understand why the Outlander has not been received more positively. The dealer network is small. but am fortunate to have at least three in my area. The pricing is great.

Love this car
I bought this car not knowing much about it because we were in a hurry seeing as my car before this one had the transmission go out. I absolutely love this car. I get awesome fuel mileage just driving to and from work or around town, sometimes it says 27MPG or higher. I love the interior and the heated seats are amazing. The only thing I will say is that the third row seating is a waste of space. No one could fit back there even if they tried. Have not had a single problem with anything on this car. It's a smooth comfortable ride and I love all the features.

Ok Suv, blehh
I own a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander ES model. I am the second owner and I bought it with 24,000 miles. What I like about this SUV is that you rarely see them where I live in the Palm Springs area so I took a chance and bought one. Everything was great in the beginning but the more I drove the car I started to see little things here and there and why the price was so low overall in all Mitsubishi vehicles. There is little to no soundproofing on most of the truck so I had to install some for a quieter ride. Also the model I bought came with those ugly steel rims so I purchased some lighter rims at my local tire shop and it seems to get better gas mileage, even though the gas mileage is okay or I can say good considering the size of a suv. Now at 79000 Miles I haven't had any issues with the car I've only done oil changes regular maintenance checkups but one thing that I did notice is that during our summers here of 120 or so these models always make a squealing sound when accelerating. I even went to the dealership and bought the pulleys and items to be replaced (500$)It stopped for a week or so but this heat makes them squeal like pigs LOL randomly the good part. If you're not into cars that much this is a great car for you or if you have kids and you know they are going to mess up your car this is a great buy. And if you are avoiding a minivan this is a good buy. Now at 133k miles my suv has not given me any mayor issues. Just keep your fluids in check. Now at 155k miles I get a check engine light, but goes away if I put an octane booster on my gas or use premium 91 gas. Also i did replace my struts and changed the spark plugs since I bought the suv. So besides that's no issues. I changed the transmission oil at 150k miles. Make sure its oem oil. I did read the auto manual and it's advise to do it every 30k. If it's not broke, don't fix it..

Look for something else
I think this car provides a smooth ride over all. There are two major gripes I have about it. I don't feel safe in it when making turns. It loses traction no matter the terrain or weather conditions. I can't drive over 20 mph and make a turn without feeling like it might flip over. The other issue is the A/C. The compressor went out on it two years after I bought it. It went out again recently. I am told the issue is due to bad design. Oh, and while I'm here, I think the issue with any Mitsubishi is that they hold no value. Whether that is warranted or not, I don't know. Based on my experience, I wouldn't buy one again and would recommend others to look for something else.
