Eclipse - gone bad
With only 78000 miles and great care this car just cost me $2000 for head gasket and valve repair. The shop stated that the design was flawed and a known issue with Mitsubishi.
What a fun car!
This car has served me well through several yers of outside sales work. It is fun to drive; unique and sharp to look at; easy to get in and out of; sound system is awesome; low maintenance and the quality in workmanship is good.
Mitsubishi Eclipse RS Hatchback
Car holds up great is front end crash. Does not require much maintainance, however, spark plugs are not reliable at all!
Good car overall
I've had my maroon Eclipse GS for almost a year. I've had only minor problems with it. The check engine light came on which had to do with recalled spark plugs, etc. My door handle also broke off, which was kinda pricey, but oh well. I'm 21 so this is the perfect college car for me. It's great for the city, and has some pep on the highway. I only wish it had a little more hp and a larger engine, preferably a V6.
This car eats up gas
This car is beautiful, but non reliable had it for a month and the starter died, the battery died and did I mention it gets 12 mpg city and a decent 18 mpg highway the car is pretty fast though but I hate it when a neon srt-4 can beat me and get better gas mileage at the same time
