Well I'm still OK with this car. Just put new tires on it, Toyo Proxys, and it seems to have gotten rid of the road noise. The Dunlops stink! They just seem to be way too soft and as they got some age on them the ride was terrible, bouncing and swaying everywhere. This car has had zero problems mechanically and the dealership replaced the 2 back side panels as the clearcoat was coming off. (each side of the rear glass) I still think that for the money Mercedes could put a little more into this vehicle. ie: lumbar, power tilt and telescopic wheel. But go see if your Lexus can move like this!

The car is showing its age - limited features and dated functionality.

My New SUV

Had it 2 weeks. It rides too much like a truck but otherwise I'm very happy with it. My last Mercedes was a sedan and the ride was much smoother but hated being the little guy not I'm big and tall like all the other SUVs.

Traded in a 2000 on a 2004 and glad I did. Much improved: better ride, quieter, more power, dash controls much improved.

I have just bought a brand new 2004 mercedes ml350 inspiration package, black on black. I test drove a Landrover Discovery and a Bmw X5, but did not like the responsiveness and handling of it. The ML350 is truly a great Euro SUV, its a Benz worth your money, it drives great, quiet inside, great and quick responsiveness, it looks small and light, but really it is roomy inside and kind of heavy which is great.

Only a month old and has seen 2 legitimate snow/ice storms. Handling is phenomenal. If you're looking for a cushy luxury ride, this SUV is not for you. It's a true german vehicle.

Despite of so many negative reviews through the internet sites, purchased Inspiration Edition over X5, RX330, FX35, and MDX. MB is still MB. Classy looks of both in and outsides. Power, quietness, smoothness, may be less than the competitors, but they are adequate enough to be happy, and just fun to drive as a truck-feel, after all. No regrect at all on my decision.

Love this vehicle except for the electronic quirks. Every so often the doors lock and will not unlock even with the key and certainly not with the remote. The memory seats lose their memory and the console computer loses the date and the language defaults to German. I have had it in three times for this and even changing the computer has not stopped these intermident problems. However, over all I am very satisfied with the power, finish and reliability of the M-Class

Best SUV I've ever owned or driven. Plenty of power, sure-footed on the road, sleek cruiser on the highway. Excellent traction in Wisconsin wintry ice and snow. Plenty of room for golf clubs, luggage, passengers. Luxury features with exceptional functionality. Controls are intuitive and easy to operate. Quiet and solid ride.

The Ml350 is a great SUV that is sure footed in bad weather and a really fun ride in great weather. When alot of SUV's are bulky and have a bumpy ride, The ML350 is a joy to drive, with a steady ride without all the bumps, and it handles like a smaller car. I couldn't have asked for more in an SUV than this. With so many features that are standard, it truly is like buying another car... fully loaded. I encourage anyone to try it.

This is my second ML in 4 years. The 350's interior design is greatly improved, over the 2000 320. The center console is more functional and the rear A/C controls is a welcome addtion. I also like the larger wheels, they made for a smoothier ride.

Overall performance is very good. The car is sporty yet rides extremely well. I like the size because it is not huge and it is easy to manuever in parking. The all wheel drive is particularly helpful in bad weather. The safety factor of the car is also huge.

Took it on Xmas trip Boston to Cincinniti to Rochester NY to Cape Cod. Never missed a beat. Power when needed as trucks roll at 80 plus all the time. Climate system better than my 1999. Good solid vehicle.

Awesome! It's an SUV that rides like a mercedes. I bought the brand new 2005 because Mercedes is throwing in a lot of free options on the car in order to get you to buy it now instead of waiting for the new body on the 2006.

My 3rd ML since 1998. This one is the best. 8 air bags, super brakes and handling on all surfaces. 13-15 mpg city, 20 intercity at steady 70 mph. I've driven ML's in snow, ice, slush, 15 below zero, wet and I've never been disappointed. Although dated after 6 years the stylingis still better than most newer suvs.

First Luxury SUV purchase. Benz was chosen primarliy because of safety features, 4 year initial service (included) (i.e. oil changes), and tele- aid communication system (simliar to OnStar). Vehicle also has good towing capability, and lots of room on the inside.

I love my car. I had driven the ML several years ago and did not like they way it drove, the changes made to the suspension make this car wonderful to drive. I will definetly purchase a new ML when the 2006 comes out.
