Buyer be aware - Lease End Statement

I have been a loyal client. This is my 4th lease and I am afraid most likely the last. Mercedes Benz has hired a 3rd party to do their inspections and to my surprise, I received an almost 2k statement due in part to "excess wear and tear" of the tires... My lease was a two years 15k miles per year. I have friends working in different Mercedes dealerships and I was told this is the new norm, many clients are highly disappointed with this unexpected charges.

From SL550 to E450 to E450 wagon

For the past few years, we have delighted in driving our R231 SL550. Such a great motorcar, yet not keeping pace with our lifestyle changes. Enter the 2019 E450 Cabriolet; what a car. Same motor, transmission and front brakes as the SL450, yet with a longer wheelbase, two more USEABLE seats and a much more modern interface system. Don't be fooled, this car will spool up to speed quite well, providing a most comfortable and useable interior. The noise level with the top up is surprisingly quiet, and with the top down, well, that's really why you buy it. Several thousand miles now, a couple of road trips and some great around town outings with friends, and this vehicle continues to impress. While I do miss the compelling torque of the SL550, this E450 can deliver performance in a most stylish way, and then get 30 mpg on the highway. Bloody marvelous motorcar. UPDATE: 12/21: The A238 E450 Cabriolet is a magical motorcar, however after the second repair to the cabriolet roof webbing / inner liner in less than a year, we made the decision to move on from the Cabriolet. As much as we loved the car, the long term ownership costs appeared too daunting for us. The Cabriolet was replaced with an S/W213 E450 wagon, which is our third Mercedes wagon, and simply a magnificent motorcar. Just back from a 1,400 mile jaunt to Road America; got 31.9 mpg at 78 mph average, and hauled everything we needed for a long weekend at the race track. Love the long roof! Update 2.0: still in the E450 4 matic wagon, and love the vehicle. Stylish, comfortable, such a great road car, and yet delivers really solid mileage. Sadly MB elected to forgo the Estate version of the wagon in the US and now sells the AT (all terrain) in it's place. We shall drive our estate version until it simply wears out. Stay tunded.

Great Car For Daily And Track

Very good and luxury car. Large dash board display make it easier to look at. Ambient light can be mix and it can even changing the color automatically. The light in the air conditioning outlet will change color by itself such as turning red when you heat up, blue when drop down the temperature. The color will turning back to what you pick after few seconds of changing the temperature. For the most of the coupe, e53 was very good on gas. For the most of the cabriolet, we have lots of space of the truck. The tail lamp was also gorgeous, sequential light when you unlock the car and turn of the light ( the signal light were not sequential light). Also the headlamp has something different from the old version car. You can see the light moving to the side when you turn on the car which is very intelligent and modern. The performance exhaust system package make the exhaust sound incredibly good and smooth. It won’t be too loud to noising the passengers outside. There is another good feature including the performance exhaust package which is mute the exhaust. We can choose to make it quiet(not as quiet as the electric car) or loud. I recommended this car by 5 stars :)

It feels way faster than the numbers suggest. I have no trouble exploding past other people on the highway. My previous car was a 2018 Infiniti Q60 with 400hp. This car is comfortable, very well built, and the interior is unbeaten in design. The 13 speakers Burmester sound system is also fantastic.

Elegant E450 Coupe

Michael Law, 04/09/2020
2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 450 4MATIC 2dr Coupe AWD (3.0L 6cyl Turbo 9A)

I bought a 2019 E 450 coupe a year ago because I love the car's elegant appearance. Lack of a post or pillar between the front and rear windows is unique. This coupe looks especially cool with the windows down. The mid-size coupe has become a rare breed. Almost all other coupes are now compacts. The E 450 is a larger car with more room than MB's C Class or Audi's A5 coupe. The base V-6 is plenty strong and works seamlessly with the 9-speed transmission. The Burmeister sound system is terrific. Cargo storage is pretty decent, especially with the rear seats folded down. The back seats are adult-sized but, as with most coupes, getting in and out is not easy. Once back there, however, the rear seats are comfortable. The interior is elegant and comfortable. The only thing I don't like about the E 450 is the infotainment system. It's too complicated and not intuitive. Also, I'm surprised there aren't more standard safety features on a car in this price range. More safety features are available as options, however. To summarize, the E 450 coupe is an elegant, unusual car. There just aren't many mid-size luxury coupes around. Instead of a hot rod or compact car, the E 450 coupe is a great looking, comfy ride.
