I've bought this 2003 model to replace my 1989 Mercedes 240. The new model is a much better car in many ways, especially the exterior and interior design.

Even though I have only owned my MB E500 for 2 weeks, I can tell you that it is an amazing automobile. I have been a faithful BMW buyer for the last 15 years, and after owning my first "benz" I'll never buy anything else. What a well built automobile this is. And if you need trunk space, look no further, huge amount of trunk space, unbelievable. Just an all around extremely well built automobile, and a very safe vehicle to boot. You couldn't ask for anything more.

I traded a 1997 5-Series BMW,which I enjoyed in every way. Looked at and drove the 2004 5-Series BMW and left the dealership with negative views on its appearance and interior features. I tried the E320, gave it the same drive and bought it on the spot. Both my wife and I are enjoying it. We have lost our thoughts of BMW for the time being.

The ride is much harsher than you would expect from a car with adjustable air suspension. The engine makes a lot of noise somewhat like a diesel. The engine should run smoother considering it has two spark plugs per cylinder.

It's a Chrysler. Did MB buy Chrysler out or the other way round?
