So far this has been a great car. I do miss the robust horsepower of the Vette I had but this car does have some quiet acceleration. Seems to be a very nice car.

Absolute Blast to Drive!

Since I purchased my CLK350 in February '06, I have had nothing but an ear to ear grin while driving my car. It handles like it's on rails and performs incredibly well. I recently took it to the track and ran a 14.3 second quarter mile. 'Nuff said. Oh, and got 33.5 mpg on the highway on my drive home with cruise set to 70mph! The 7-speed transmission is very slick... not many cars can boast a 70mph cruising speed at only 1,700-2,000 rpm! It is very versatile; it is an extremely refined executive sports car but will effortlessly release the beast within whenever you want to! This is an incredible car and I have no regrets on my purchase whatsoever!

This is probably the most recent review in an old car: I have only had it for a few days now and I bought it wrecked. I replaced the headlight and fender although the car was crashed going about 60mph and crunched in front passenger side.. It still drives so smooth that you would never know. I buy and sell cars as a hobby and don't even own a car of my own because I just drive whichever car I am selling until it sells. This is my second MBz and I regretted selling the 2004 S500. Beings this clk350 is a couple years newer, a coupe, and 6 cyl, I wasn't sure whether I was going to like it, or rather unsure if it would be a smooth ride like the s500 with 4matic air shocks. So, the 2006 clk350 was recently wrecked, the tires are in desperate need of replacement, and it has a 6cyl vs the 8 the s500 had so I was blown away when this car drove just as smooth, quiet, tight, fast, responsive, at the same time better gas mileage and so much fun to drive 16 years and 153k miles after it's birth, my favorite car I have ever driven. BMW is week in comparison. I do love Lexus too but, would have to go with Mercedes if I was forced to choose. Crazy I can be cruising at 70mph and just tap on the gas and can still feel the power as the car peacefully is up to 100 a few seconds later. I'm impressed while was already expecting great things coming from Mercedes. Tags are 3 years expired and no insurance. If a cop were to get behind me I think I would just take off on him just for the fun of it

I traded in my G35 coupe on this car and from the second day of owning I wish I could have just got my old car back. In the three years that I owned my G35 I never had as many problems as with this stupid car. It was certified pre-owned when I bought it and it only had 15,875 miles on it. Here's the list: Blown speaker, Wheel Balance off, Drivers side seat holder broken, Engine Pulley replacement, Middle brake light out, and chip in windshield. I know you might be thinking...most of these things were rigged so I didn't find them instantly and I got to those so far and only owned it a few months. Terrible customer service and a terrible car. Don't buy it!
