2001 MPV ES
We traded in our Dog, I mean Dodge Caravan and got a used 2001 MPV ES. So far, so good. The only complaint is the engine performance...you're not going to win any drag races with this car, but then again, it's a minivan!! Anyway, disappearing 3rd row seat is awesome, and the car handles much better than the caravan. Glad I made the change and I feel much more confident with this car's reliability.

I bought my van used and have had it for about 1 yr now. van is ok but my wife would like it to have the power slide doors and little stonger engine. My advice buy a Honda if you got the money and can find one, if not make the mazda your second choice
2001 Mazda MPV
Great Car. Plenty of Power. Easiest MiniVan to parallel park. Milage around town could be better but not horrible.
Good Van
Used for 160 mi/day commute for five months, took extended family (4 adults, 2 kids, & luggage)to mountains, then took out seats and used it as a moving van. I am impressed. The acceleration is adequate under load (1000+ lbs.) and downright zippy when empty. It has excellent safety features, good comfort, and does not suffer the wallow of other vans when I ride in the 2nd row.
Mazda MPV Unreliable
Engine knocking caused by rocker arm shaft design. Transmission shift is delayed. radio broke early. Don't buy one!
