Used 2006 Lexus GS 300 Sedan Consumer Reviews
2006 Lexus GS-300AWD
This is one outstandingly built automobile. The overall quality, fit, finish and ride are wonderful. Acceleration is certainly more than adequate, and the gas milage has been a nice surprise at about 26mpg. Handles extremely well. Everything works as it should, and not a rattle or squeak to be found. It simply does not get much better than this car!
Great Car
I have owned many cars over the years. Porsche, BMW from sedans to sports cars. The redesigned all new Lexus GS 300 AWD is about as good as it gets. Quality is first rate... driving is fun and the six cylinder engine is smooth and responsive. Yes, I would have preferred a few more horses under the hood. The gas mileage is supprisingly good.. so far pretty much as advertised around 28 on the highway and 19-20's city. I get a lot of the WOW FACTOR! Nice Car... SWEET!

It's it and that's that!
I set out to buy a Jaguar, then checked the BMW 530i, and out of curiosity, checked the new GS 300 (just to be sure). The interior is magnificent, full of tremendously useful features within a luxurious cabin. The exterior is sleek and refined. But I have to say this car is confused -- it doesn't know if it's a sports car or a luxury sedan -- it does BOTH beautifully! It's tight and agile on corners, accelerates with authority, but is as quiet as a library. I chose the AWD due to the possibility of having to move back to snow territory -- I know it'll be perfect! Before you buy any other car, take this baby for a ride!
Fantastic Automobile
I looked at the BMW-5, Benz, Infiniti M, Acura, Audi S4, Jaguar, etc etc... none met what I was looking for until I found the new GS 300. With the redesign of the Lexus GS 300 AWD, I finally have found a car that is a perfect blend of form and function. It feels like a luxurious sedan but doesn't look like an old 4-door family car. While some prefer the stiff ride of the BMW 5-series as several like to 'feel the road', I like the feeling of comfort. AWD is a huge plus as well (unlike my BMW aka "silver sled". While it does not have as much HP as the Infiniti M, it feels better put together (the M felt like a boat w/its strange wooden trim). The screen +key + bluetooth are great as well!!
My first Lexus
This car is so superior to anything I've ever owned-including several Mercedes, and two Infinitis - it is as though Lexus is in a different business from the rest of the auto makers. I refer to performance, comfort, quality of "build", and dependability - and low cost of maintenance. Lexus has it figured out!
