Lexus-Air is the new way to fly
After years of deciding on the BMW 5 series, it took me only a test drive for the new GS instead. These are many factors that made me change my mind. *Touch Screen (not many mid price range vehicle has this option without the NAVs, unless you want to pay for aftermarket) *Solid, fast, Quiet, smooth ride. *white reading spot lighting and body sensing dome lights. (This provide the feel of an aircraft on land. Try going high speeds through the deserts while reading the emergency evacuation pamphlet-if you can get your hands on one) Please read the reviews prior to purchase based on the "expert car critic's point of view." You will love it! Lexus-Air is now boarding for departure!
Something Wicked This Way Comes Redeux
This is my third Lexus. I have owned a first generation LS and a second generation GS and I am supremely happy with the new car. I bought it used with 14k miles on it and it is awesome. I am a realtor and the navi is a tremendous help, as well as the ventilated seats, back up camera, Mark Levinson audio/ DVD, and the park assist. I am still learning the voice commands and I wish they were more variable. Other than the road noise from the run flats, this car is nearly perfect. I am a Lexus fan for life. Everytime I start searching for a new car, I look at Mercedes and BMW and I always go back to Lexus because of the reliability and resale.

Nice ride
Smooth ride, very comfortable, luxury feeling in all aspects. I love all of the state of the art options (smartkey, navi, rear camera, ac & heated seats, auto wipers, push start, etc.), its like all you have to do is sit down and drive. The fuel economy was surprising, I consistently take weekend trips of 220+ miles and on the highway i can avg up to 30+ mpg. Only complaint is the expensive little fixes, HID headlight bulbs cost $430 at the dealership, FOR A LIGHT BULB!
I love this car!!
I just purchased a 2006 GS 300 CPO with 16K miles and I love it! The car is awesome! People actually stare at the car when you drive! I traded in my 2002 ES 300 and I'm sure glad I did. The GS comes with so many nice features - smooth ride, halogen lights, heat/cool seats, 3 person memory driver and passenger seats, bluetooth phone. A month later I am still noticing cool features I didn't notice before. The car offers you a sporty feel with total luxury & durability.
Solid buy
The Lexus is tightly built, has all the gadgets you can ever ask for - that actually work as they are supposed to - and looks great inside and out. However, as a former 5 series owner, it also made me understand what they meant by Lexus as being just a Camry with leather. However, the GS IS a very dependable Toyota with many, many quality upgrades if that is what you are looking for. Personally, I wasn't.
