Used 2002 Lexus GS 300 Consumer Reviews
I want my BMW 5 series back
My GS has been in the shop 10+ times. Sounds like a friggin alian spaceship landing in the FR at 40-55, Lexus says "it's normal" but they can't reproduce on another car. Replaced the rack, tires & other parts with no results. Slight presure on the brakes & the noise goes away but they won't replace the caliper - too logical maybe? First 8mo they said "absolutly, there's a problem", now they claim it's fixed & it's normal noise. Also, the car wanders horribly on the highway, that's why they replaced the rack - no change. They took the front end out of spec & did help the drift but it's still miserable. A bit of wind on the road pushes me around, bummer huh?
GS rocket
This, car is really a piece of art. Everything fits so well together, the only thing i wish i would have gotten is the 430 engine, it needs more powerrrr.

GS 300 review
After owning a 1990 turbo Supra, I wasn't sure if the performance would measure up to the comfort. I was plesantly suprised! The 3.0L V-6 is spunky, manuverable, and with the power position selected (broader shift pattern), this car is definitely entertaining. With that great Lexus craftmanship, great curb appeal, and great value for the luxury car it is, I should have known I wouldn't go wrong with the GS 300.
Lovin' it (so far)
I bought my car used this week and it was in excellent condition. Not too many miles for a used car. It is fully loaded, great sound system, wonderful AC, smooth ride, and so far no problems. I also got it at the blue book value (not overpriced).
Fun to Drive
I had just finished a bad experience with Jaguar and was looking for a sporty and fun to drive car that had that European flair.Looked at BMW but went back to Lexus only this time the GS 300 sportdesign model. I thought about the GS430 but figured the speeding tickets were not worth it. The GS300 is a great car, fast enough on the highway with a great ride and finish,if you can buy one.
