Overall good, just minor drawbacks
I got this car wanting something nicer than a Toyota but not as expensive as a true luxury car. It fits the bill without breaking the bank too much. Pros: Great exterior styling, good comfort and sound system. Sturdily built in Japan. Incredible reliability ratings. Decent fuel economy for a semi-luxury car (38 mpg real world). Cons: Definitely not a real luxury car. Fuel economy not as good as non-luxury equivalents. Most non-luxury hybrids get nearly 50 mpg compared to the ES 300h's 38 mpg or so. No Android Auto or Apple Carplay, just Bluetooth. Suspension just average, not particularly good or bad. Overall I'm pretty happy with my 2017 ES 300h. It fits the niche audience that I fall under, but later down the road, I'd trade it for a well-equipped EV.

Hybrid Review
The engine is extremely quite while idling or at slower speeds.

Pay Less for More
Lexus is riding on its name. For $7,700 less than the Lexus ES 300h, I purchased a Toyota Avalon hybrid Limited. The Avalon has more features, better styling, intuitive technology, a bigger trunk and is just plain fun to drive. The Avalon is built on the Lexus LS frame, while the Lexus ES is built on Toyota's Camry frame. I say this as a former Lexus ES 350 owner; I loved that car! The new ones are no match for my old Lexus or for the Toyota Avalon Limited.

Dream car
First of all buying this car from Alhambra Volkswagen was a great experience. Everyone there was so nice to deal with. I fell in love with the quality of this car. It handles so well but most importantly was the environmental impact. It has such great gas mileage for a luxury vehicle, and it doesn’t lack when accelerating. It’s Fantastic!
