Best Jeep Ever !!!
Went to dealership with my mother and we was going to purchase 2 of these new Unlimiteds, thought buying 2 of them we could get some kind of a deal...WRONG!! Salesman said the best I can do is sticker price so he lost 2 cash sales. I went to the Chevy dealer in the same auto mall and got a new Monte Carlo LS. My mother got her Unlimited and is very happy with it and I'm happy for her. I loved it myself but not that much.
its a jeep thing
Just AWESOME nada problems. only fun
Piece of Heaven
Great looks, great power, well built, driver and passenger friendly, you can't go wrong with the Unlimited.
Solid as a rock
Fun,solid and go anywhere vehicle. People that like jeeps buy jeeps...people that are looking for a cutsie mobile look elsewhere.
amazing dream car
good driving, it is my favorite car in the world. it is the best car
Wranglers Wrock
If you are looking for a fun car to get you from a to b or just looking for a car you can mess around with, the wrangler is the Jeep for you, There are many aftermarket parts to customize the wrangler to who you are.
2004 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
The last Jeep I owned was a 1991 Wrangler. This 2004 Wrangler is a greatly improved automobile. The fuel economy could be better for its size...but overall I am very please with the purchase. No buyers remorse...
Four years and counting
I love my TJ Rubi. She's a gas to drive and be seen driving. You can't just can't beat top-down-doors-off Jeep'n fun. Took her on the Rubicon Trail stock and she bottomed out a few times. A 4 inch lift kit and 33" MTRs and she'll go anywhere. Gas mileage stinks but so what. It's a Jeep!
Forget the other Wranglers
I always wanted one and finally did a month ago. Biggest reason for only getting a Wrangler now was that there was next to no room behind the back seat. Until the Unlimited came out, it made no sense for me to get rid off my reliable and fuel- economic little soft-top Tracker. The unlimited has lots of room, is much more comfortable than anyone says and the soft top is not that hard to handle, simply needs some time to get used to. Obviously you can't compare the handling of the soft top when you're used to pressing a button in your Sebring convert ... It pulls 3,500 pounds and has no trouble with my 1,800 pd boat trailer and affects fuel economy very little.
Good to go!
I only have bought this Jeep about a month ago but, I have owned a few Jeeps in my life. I love the improved ride, power, quietness and performance of this Wrangler Jeep. Quite an improvement over ones just a few years back imo. Parts are easy to get and the package works well for me as a towable vehicle behind my motorhome as well. If your going to buy this one at least get the limitted slip rear diff from the factory with the DANA 44 rear end. I plan on putting a cable locker up front and I'll be set for all but the worst stuff. I have already added $1500 in parts for off roading; bumpers, winch, and tow bar, and rock sliders were a must for my use. Loving it!
Still the same
As long as you understand its capabailities on road its no problem. Dont turn corners at a high speed or the tires will let you know. But take it to the woods or training area and smile from ear to ear. I have to purchase a winch because the mud holes that M1A1 Tanks leave are deep.
Love my Jeep
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is extremely fun to drive and the little extra cargo room the Unlimited offers goes a long way. I plan to get a 3" lift and put some 34" tires on...which the wife is against but what does she know. Mine came with a grille guard and fog lights which look very nice.
jeeps rock
for the longest time a have wanted to become a new jeep owner and the wrangler has been my weapon of choice. there is pretty much nothing this vehicle can't do and nowhere it can't go.
Jeeprules
Jeep rules what else can I say
FUN TO DRIVE....GET ONE
This is my first Jeep ever. It's a black, soft-top Rocky Mountain edition. Sharp looking with big wheels and tires. Great package! It has great winter capabilities and is fun in the sun. This SUV has it all! It's our family toy. My three sons love it. Having an awsome time this summer. I can't wait to use it in the winter. Should have gotten one sooner. I also drive a 2003 745Li BMW; a great car but lacks the fun,free-spirited feeling you get from a Wrangler. You don't buy for it's creature comforts. It's a JEEP.... HAVE SOME FUN!
Its a Jeep Thing!
I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, so I finally bought one. This is my toy. I also drive a Grand Cherokee Limited, but I'm always in the Wrangler! I LOVE IT!! Its rough riding, small, but handles well, its a great little do- anything go anywhere truck.
The legend lives on
Jeep's latest Wrangler is a fitting addition to a line that can trace its roots back to the Jeep of WW2. You can go anywhere and do anything in this vehicle. Words of warning - it's not a car. If you're looking for a car ride and car comforts, look elsewhere. The interior is utilitarian and clean, the ride is solid, and the cornering is much better than I expected for a Jeep.
Great little buggy
I love mine! It's a bit bouncy and conversing with a passenger at higher speeds can be tough, but it's ability to move from paved roads ot off road without missing a beat more than make up for it. I don't find the soft top the "nail breaker" Edmund claims. I can take the top down or put it up in less than 5 minutes. The Jeep is without a doubt just plain fun to drive, especially topless. I've read some info concerning poor handling on highways. I haven't had this problem, but the jeep wasn't intented as a family car. Best vehicle purchase I have ever made.
You get what you get
Hey, if you buy a jeep, you're not going to get a luxury car. You get a fun to drive, reliable, off-road machine! Laugh at everyone that gets stuck in the snow, and feel the summer wind in your face with the top down. Live life! own a jeep.
Its AWESOME
I love everything about it. Its well worth the extra money.
Jeep Wrangler Review
This vehicle has been an absolute dream to own and to drive. Every aspect of it has been better than I imagined. Reliable and fun and well engineered.
TJ-8
Room for a weekend trip without a top rack, can't wait for the aftermarket to catch up. Removable rear seat is a snap. I wish the hard top was easier to take off (heavy). I'm hooked, and I'm keeping this baby.
2003 rubicon review
I have changed the suspension system by lifting my jeep 2 1/2 inches with a rancho lift system. The stock suspension system was a hard ride and this lift heped soften it upas well as give more clearance for off roading, my intial purpose for this ride. I have not had any major problems with any systems on this vehicle. It has been a great ride both on and off road. I have been able go places that I would not go with anything less than a 4 wheel drive with locks could go.
Jeep Owner X3
This is the 2nd Jeep Wrangler I have owned. The 1st was a 97 Wrangler Sahara which I gave to my son. I purchased the 04 Rubicon because it had a 5 speed. Other than a little rougher ride than the Sahara, I am totally blown away by the Rubicon. The thing people need to know about a Jeep is that it is a real SUV. If you're looking for the smooth quiet ride, it's not for you. If you want a real 4x4 capable of going anywhere, built in the USA, that holds resale value, and is a blast to drive; this is it. The wife drives an 03 Liberty Ltd, so when we need 4 doors and have a passenger or two we use it. Like they say; "It's a Jeep thing...."
Awsome Jeeps
Never had a Problem, Best Vehicle ever owned.
I LOVE MY RUBY
Had Vette convertibles for many years, and the Ruby is just as much fun to drive. Jeeps and Vettes both have the "wave". Can go many places offroad in 2wd, that in other vehicles you would need to be in 4wd. Just a FUN vehicle.
ADD 4" Skyjacker and 33" All Terrains
I've got a X and at 2500 miles I added a 4" Skyjacker lift with 33" tires. I have to say I do believe that is the best compatiblity for Jeep. Gears 1 through 4 are terrific but 5th struggles at high speeds. Just recently drove cross country and hardly saw 70. But that when I remind myself its a jeep. Can also easily tow 2700 pound boat with ease.
Fun but unaffordable
The major problem with this vehicle is poor fuel economy.
True Trail Ready Vehicle
The only reasonable priced serious off road vehicle that can be used as is for both street and trails with out concern. It is built tough and reliable, you can get an auto transmission and airconditing with cruse control. But the basic jeep has real tough drive train that you can get factory airlockers front & rear with a heavy duty transfer case and full 7 year 70k mile warrentee for worry free off/on road uses.
My first Jeep
I really enjoy driving the Rubicon. It performs well for my daily commute and is civilized on the road, given it's off road capabilities. Off road this machine is absolutly top notch. I have taken it through the "Gap" in the Catalina Mountains outside of Tucson, a 4+ rated trail, and it pulled right through. The Rubicon climbed through the boulders like a goat, (the lockers are great), and had plenty of power for the steep ascents on rock faces. Wound up breaking a wheel, but that happens in the rocks. I forgot to air down the tires. I did add a winch, rock sliders, tube bumpers and a K & N air filter. Over all very satsified.
YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF, SO GET ONE
WELL LETS START BY SAYING THAT JEEP DELIVERED EVERYTHING IT PROMISED AND THEN SOME WITH THE RUBICON. ITS NICE TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE AN OVERBUILT MACHINE READY TO TAKE ON A VARIETY OF ON-ROAD AND OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS. JEEP ALSO HAS A TON OF AFTERMARKET SUPPORT SO INCREASING THE CARGO PROBLEM VIA A HITCH CARGO BOX OR ROOF RACK WILL HUSH UP MY LOVELY WIFE WHO HATES IT. OVERALL I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THEY BUILT THIS CUSTOM FAB MACHINE,SOMEONE OVER AT JEEP FINALLY GOT THE LAWYERS AND ACCOUNTANTS TO TAKE THE HANDCUFFS OFF THE ENGINEERS HOPEFULLY OTHER COMPANYS WILL FOLLOW SUIT...BUT IT WONT BE A JEEP BUY THE ICON YOU WONT BE SORRY.
William's Jeep
I have been very satisfied overall with this vehicle. It is fun to drive, and having the 4WD available, though I have yet to use it, gives me piece of mind. I gave it a 9 for comfort due to the lack of a door arm rest, which really is not a problem as the center console is there. I gave it a 6 for fuel economy because its 15-19 mpg is reminiscent of the 80's era vehicles. It has had, as yet, no mechanical or body work though I do intend to add the tow bar, which I think should be standard given the lack of trunk space with passengers aboard. While I think I will never part with it, I am also pleased with the TMV and resale value.
Wow!
Traded in my '92 4-cyl YJ. Talk about an upgrade! This thing is sweet! Everything is improved. Much smoother and quieter ride compared to my old leaf-sprung YJ. The interior is quite comfortable. Definitely go for the dual top option and full doors; well worth it.
Jeep Unlimited is great
This is the first Jeep Wrangler. I previously had Jeep Cherokees. Here in the Tampa Bay area we have been besieged by HURRICANES giving me the opportuntiy to tow about ten idiots out of flooded streets including a Honda CRV suv. I felt great about that. I easily tow my 2500 Lb. boat. I put the sunrider top down for a summer day. I love this vehicle. The car is quiet, comfortable and rock solid. I know the engine is reliable. I put 200,000 miles on two cherokees and the Wrangler has the same in line 6 cylinder engine. You cannot go wrong with this rig.
grand
its the best car i have ever owned
2004 Wrangler Sport
Awesome car.
Luv my Columbia Edition Wrangler
It is awesome. Great ride and fun vehicle!!
jeep
I have found that my Jeep Wrangler is a go anywhere I want to go Vehicle. IN the eight years that I have owned my Jeep It has done everything I wanted it to do. I have Rechievecd three quarter ton exten cab pick -ups from the bottom of 4x4 trails to winching other jeeps off logs and out of seven foot deep ditches. I find it quite manuverable with plenty of power to spare.
Best ride out there!
I traded my 2002 wrangler for the new 2004 electric lime. Jeeps handle the best than any suv/4wd that I have driven and there have been alot. You have the security and fun of the 4wd and the drop top. I will own nothing but a Jeep Wrangler!
Too much FUN!
Awesome fun factor, but better as a second or third vehicle. It's unbeatable off road, but if you are considering all the car-like SUV's, remember that Wrangler is made with ONE purpose in mind: Off-road.
Wrangler Unlimited a Good Value
I am happy with the Wrangler. That being said, I knew what to expect from this vehicle and I live in an area where there are plenty of places to take it off-road and sometimes our weather here makes having a 4x4 a definite advantage as well. If you want a vehicle that can take you to and from work or to the store and you live in the city, then the Wrangler probably isn't for you. However, if you want a fun versatile vehicle that is reliable and can haul and tow and get you unstuck from places that other SUVs won't dare to venture, then you may want to consider it. For the small price difference, consider the Unlimited. It has more room and better towing capacity and road manners as well.
Love this Jeep
I have never had so many compliments about a vehicle. My other car is a Volvo s80 so I've gone to the other extreme with this Jeep
4X4 FUN
I have owned 4 jeeps over 26 years and have enjoyed four wheeling the deserts of Arizona over that entire time.
My Dream Car
Love my Jeep! I've wanted one for so long and now I have one. Lots of power, very sporty. I'm the envy of all my friends.
Rubicon is the way to go
This is the fourth new jeep I have purchased and it is the best one yet. Starting with an 1978 Levi CJ7 to a 1981 CJ5 next to a 1987 Wrangler and this Rubicon goes places here in Arizona where the others would not.
Love my Rubi
I recently purchased a 2004 Rubicon and have been pleasantly surprised with its performance and comfort. I had purchased a 98 Wrangler SE new for my son 6 years ago, and he still is in love with it. It doesn't look at all like the jeep we bought, due to all the excellent upgrades that are available. But it has been trouble free, so I expect the same out of the Rubicon. The difference between the 4.0 litre and the 2.4 is big in performance and smoothness. The Rubicon also is a much more comfortable ride with the Quadracoil and gas shocks, and generally has pretty good road manners.
The keeper
This is my 14th jeep. CJs, TJs, Cheerokees have all been in my stable at one time or another. Jeep has finally made the perfect vehicle for me. Quieter, relatively spacious and with the same potential as short wheelbase TJs. I currently own a built 1985 CJ7, and after test driving the Unlimited on a whim, I bought one two weeks later. Upsides: Storage, potential, comfort (except for the seats) Downsides: Seats still suck, soft top is a pain to put up and down by yourself.
Jeeps for Life
This is my first Jeep. Don't buy if you want luxury or maximum comfort. Buy it if you love the outdoors and want to enjoy live by your own terms. This vehicle is addaptable to nearly every need.
