Great enjoyable 4WD.
Very ejoyable in many outdoors aspects
i love my wrangler
people that don't own wranglers are doubtful - doubtful that a convertible is warm enough in the winter - well, it's been in the negative temps for two weeks straight and i can honestly tell you, my jeep starts every morning and takes less time than our other vehicles to warm up. people are doubtful they are safe - we live in the snow belt of upstate new york, it is very rare, in fact i have never seen a jeep wrangler in a ditch, usually it is the wrangler pulling another vehicle out. i am 40 years old and have owned two wranglers, i will never be happy without one.

Florida Vehicle
Brought it home and removed the top on New Years Day...still topless! Only way to go. Surprised on how nice the ride is compared to the older models.
Great car, but spark knocks horribly
The Jeep wrangler is a great car, but both of them that I've had spark knock and the dealership mechanics can never figure out what's wrong with it. It hinders the fun of driving it.
What a blast
This is my first JEEP and I absolutly love it. Just can't wait to find some place here in Germany to take it off road.
Love our Jeep Wrangler SE
My hubby and I have wanted a Jeep Wrangler SE for several years. The van we had was totalled 7 months ago...so we thought..what the heck...best decision we ever made. It's true...when you drive down the road...other jeep owners wave..it's so cool...we love it :)
I love this car!
I've always had a soft spots for Jeeps and this Wrangler outclasses any other Wrangler I've ever had!
Go Anywhere!
I love my Jeep. Having always wanted one, I am happy that I finally have one. The noise is not as big of an issue as I had thought it would be. It is noisy, but I can still talk on a cell phone while driving, and the person on the other end can still hear. There is really no major negatives to this vehicle. It is great!
Why'd I Wait So Long?
I love my Jeep. I bought it in June 2005 with only 6k miles. So far I'm at 15k with no problems so far. Road manners are much better than I ever expected. Not nearly as loud as I thought it would be, especially with the hard top on. Not the most roomy and practical vehicle on the planet but then again who buys a Wrangler for space, fuel economy, or practicality. It's a lot of fun to drive & customization options are endless with all the aftermarket items available for Jeeps.
FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!
I'VE LOVED JEEPS SINCE I COULD SAY THE NAME AND NOW BEING A PROUD JEEP OWNER I STILL FEEL THE SAME. IT'S NEVER LET ME DOWN AND I LOOK DARN GOOD IN IT TOO!
Finally decided to Buy a Jeep
Though certainly not for everyone, owning a Jeep Wrangler can be very rewarding. Every time I shopped for a vehicle over the past 15 years I considered buying a Jeep. For reasons usually related to practicality I talked myself out of it. This time I did not. Though a generally rugged ride; navigating area roadways in a Jeep is a blast. It's powerful, solid, and packed with enough basic creature comforts to take care of its owner. Unlike many vehicles I've purchased in the past, I've never regretted buying my Jeep. It's a genuine what you see is what you get experience
2004 Wrangler Rubicon (Manual)
This is my first Jeep. Did I ever hit a home run! This baby will go anywhere that I have enough guts to try. I'm doing my first Jeep Jamboree soon, and am really looking forward to learning more about the Rubicon's capabilities. My wife loves it. She won't admit it, but I think she enjoys driving it more than her Corvette. There is no other vehicle on earth in this price range that can safely climb steep hills and slog through treacherous mud pits all with the greatest of ease.
Just awsome!
I love this jeep. I ve driven alot of diffrent suv, nothing is like my Rubi. Stop being a baby, grab your *$#@ and get one!
GREAT
This is an overall great vehicle. :)
love this thang
You can't kill it and you can't hurt it. It is a go-anywhere-anytime vehicle and it never complains. If it rains and the top is down so it fills up with a few inches of water, just pull the plug, let the water out, then go on about your business.
Jeeper 4 Life
I've had 4wd pick-ups and other vehicles, but this is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it. It's boxy, bouncy, and loud - but if I wanted a Cadillac I would have bought one! I've got a 2" lift, 33" MT mud tires (great for off-road, but I'll be switching to Silent Armors when these are worn out) and lots of chrome accessories. Did I mention I got the electric lime green color? I can always find her even in the most crowded parking lot.
jenyuin
So far REAL good. Im happy with the vehicle I traded in a great vehicle (01 dakota 4x4). But it was to big for my needs.
actual off road user
I use the jeep for a lot of trips to places where the four wheel drive is required, i.e. death valley, anza borrego ect. I love my Jeep and have owned a series of five of them over the last decade. The wrangler is relatively inexpensive with premier off road ability, it sacrifices in the comfort area. If comfort and good off road ability is what you want, look at the jeep grand cherokee and stay away from the BMW X-5 and Mercedes M class!!
Great Convertable
This is a great convertable! It offers a economical price with diverse utility value. It is rugged and there is not a lot of space, so if you need that get a mini van or big SUV. If you want a reliable fun convertable that can go anywhere, the Wrangler is for you. It comes with all the goodies; Cd, cruise, AC, intermitent wipers, etc.
One Bad Mud Machine
Great stock but better with 4 inch suspension lift, 6 KC lights, and 33X12.50 mud terrains. We bought it used with 2,000 miles on it. Use it everyday and even in mud holes on the weekends. Once we get a "family" SUV we're going to keep adding on. It's a Jeep thing, some people will never really understand.
rubicon..gotta have one
this has been a fun ride........ would highly recommend a rubicon to everyone this is the ultimate jeep
As Good As It Gets!
Traded my 2000 Sahara for the Rubicon and man this Jeep is as good as it gets. Goes through snow and ice with no problem. Being from Pittsburgh where it hasn not stopped snowing since I have gotten the Ruby. Can't even wait to get this offroad only addition recommended is the winch and your ready for almost anything. Truly is only one...Jeep Rubicon
My Third Wrangler
This is my third Wrangler. I recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs a real four wheel drive that can go anywhere and maneuver in the worst traffic immaginable. I work in Mexico and drive regularly on and off of some of the world's most terrible roads. I have great faith in my Jeep to get me in and more importantly out, of of the places I need to go. Buy this vehicle if you want a reliable four wheel drive that gives you comfort when it is dark, raining and you are in ten inches of mud in the middle of nowhere. Don't buy it if your version of comfort is leather and a quiet ride.
Spence loves his jeep!
Is it love? I think it is! My jeep never ceases to exite me with the confidence inspiring performance put out by the solid straight six engine nestled in the front of the car. This engine, not found in any other Chrysler brand, puts out a more than adaquite 190 hp and an exhilarating 210 ft/lbs of torque. Though this is certainly no road car, being far more suitable for off-roading, it still is a hoot to drive. I also love the fact that It makes most of its torque at IDLE and that it's 4WD low gear ratios turn its 210 ft/lbs into more like 600 for truly incredible off road ability.
It's a toy thing. '97 Sport 4.0L Manual
I love my Jeep, unfortunately my wife hates it. That's the story of life. Cars are a bad investment, but a Jeep is different. It can get you or others out of sticky situations, and as far as an SUV nothing could be more fun to drive. It's just not for everybody. Don't speed or race around in it, even though they try to make the new ones feel like cars, they are far from it, and they should stay that way. Make sure you can trust your mechanic, I found that mine had been running with no transmission fluid for 3 years, when I checked the fluid level myself, and the mechanic who filled it up for me forgot to secure the skidplate to the tranny. These people....
They still make Jeeps like they used to.
Jeep Wranglers rule! I bought my '04 Sahara a month ago, and it is incredible. The only 4X4 that I could find that wasn't made mostly of plastic. They cut all the gadgets and gizmos. I knew going into it that 16-18MPG would be normal, so I can't complain. The engine is powerful, stock suspension is very capable on trails. I found it interesting that people said the freeway drive is too bouncy and noisy. With the hard top on, it is just as quiet as my wife's Integra, the soft top isn't bad either. It is very smooth on freeways. Yeah, when you hit bumps on smaller roads, you do bounce a little, but it is a Jeep! Take it off-roading and you will see what I mean.
Jeep
I recently moved to colorado and participate in a number of active sports. This vehicle has been the perfect match. I knew what I was getting into buying this, and frankly I expected a much cruder and unrefined vehicle. I have had numerous passengers comment on how nice the ride is compared to older jeeps. But who cares about that? Offroad is where this thing shines, wheter it be a technical 4x4 trail or the deep colorado snow, it handels it in stride. Built very solid, strong engine, can you say torque? Hasnt had a single mechanical problem- Im good with maintainace, but am not shy about flogging it on the trail.
These things are great !!!!!!
I have owned cherokees, grand cherokees and my girlfriend owns a liberty and this is by far the most fun and versitle vehicle I have ever owned. You can't beat a convertable in the summer and the best four wheel drive system to get you through winter.
----------
Fun to drive. Goes over just about anything. Noisy on interstate.
Better Get Ear Plugs...
This is a very competent vehicle, for off-roading, but as a daily driver it leaves much to be desired. The Goodyear MTR tires howl like a lonely dog wishing for the moon. The wind noise is certainly there, but you wouldn't know thanks to the tires. You also need to choose your back seat passengers with care, as they may need to be extra nimble to get in and out. The performance is lack luster at best, with the engine attempting to lug around 3700+ pounds, which also offsets any hope of reasonable gas mileage. It will get down and dirty in the off road enviorment, but other than that, you should have limited expectations.
04 Wrangler
Remember what this vehicle was / and is designed for. Fuel economy (for a 4 X 4) is excellent. Well built and will last a long time. Anything you do not like about the original vehicle, can easily be changed with after market parts.
Wrangler X
This is one type of car/truck/SUV that everyone wants. We have owned sports cars, trucks and minivans but I have always wanted a Wrangler. This is the most fun you can have in anything out there. We live in NE Ohio about 60 miles south of Lake Erie. Just last week it was 72 degrees on a Friday and 10 inches of snow on Sunday morning. Our Wrangler has handled everything our weather has thrown at us. From winter snows to the top down fun in the summer; you just can't find that in any other SUV.
yeah, jeep jeep!
it looks tough and drives tough.here in l.a, i need that! she's a bute! i will cherish her forever........
Jeep Love
I personally love my jeep because i can go anywhere and do anything in it. Yes the ride isnt like a Mercades but its fun and cool. This is my second time owning a jeep and i have to say that no matter what this will be my choice of vehile for the rest of my life.
Serious off-road performance
Out of the box, the best performing off- roading SUV available.
My First Jeep
I've wanted a Wrangler since I was 19 (now 44). Wish I'd bought one sooner...more fun/exciting than any vehicle I've owned. Mileage sucks, but worth the high fun-factor this vehicle has. Only drawback is the wife hates it!
only in a jeep
great vehicle, true 4 wheel drive convertible, jeepers are a breed of their own, most of my friends are jeepers.
Wrangler X
I love my Jeep Wrangler X. It is the ultimate off road vehicle, and fun to drive on the street too. It has never given me any trouble, and is very reliable.
Great for what it does.
This is THE BEST offroad vehicle stock, period. I wish it had a bit of a lift and a little wider tires, but I can understand that lawyers are involved. But its a great platform to build on with stock lockers, Dana44 axles, beefy transfer case, etc. Make no mistake, this is built for offroad, so it won't ride like a minivan. Lots of the features are for offroad only. (For the guy who "broke" his lockers...never, never, never, never use the lockers on-road. Ever. The fact that you have to shift into 4Low and not driving faster than 10mph should be a clue they were intended for rock crawling, not grocery getting).
I love this thing!
I bought my jeep a few weeks ago and already it has lived up to the "Jeep" name. I wouldn't want another vehicle. Very pleasent dealing with the great staff over at Hall Jeep, Va Beach. Thumbs up guy's. Would buy another in a heartbeat. Just can't afford it now:)
Wrangler=Fun Machine
The wrangler is the ultimate fun machine. As well as the ultimate build machine!!!! Its the most bolt on vehicle available!!!! I recomend the X for anyone thats goiing to use it as a daily driver-a rock crawler build up. Come on its $6000 less than the rubicon!!!!
My Rubicon
What a Jeep! Took it off raod and WOW! Couldn't get it stuck if i tried. Crawled over rocks, ledges, did off camber runs. Just fantastic. Got mine with the dual tops and paid 23,500 after rebates. I have had offroad vehilces for over 20 years and this is the best bar none!
awesome
It doesn't get any better.
Good to go!
I only have bought this Jeep about a month ago but, I have owned a few Jeeps in my life. I love the improved ride, power, quietness and performance of this Wrangler Jeep. Quite an improvement over ones just a few years back imo. Parts are easy to get and the package works well for me as a towable vehicle behind my motorhome as well. If your going to buy this one at least get the limitted slip rear diff from the factory with the DANA 44 rear end. I plan on putting a cable locker up front and I'll be set for all but the worst stuff. I have already added $1500 in parts for off roading; bumpers, winch, and tow bar, and rock sliders were a must for my use. Loving it!
Loves new Jeep
Hasn't gotten stuck yet
Solid as a rock
Fun,solid and go anywhere vehicle. People that like jeeps buy jeeps...people that are looking for a cutsie mobile look elsewhere.
amazing dream car
good driving, it is my favorite car in the world. it is the best car
Mag's review
I think everyone should own a Jeep
2004 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
The last Jeep I owned was a 1991 Wrangler. This 2004 Wrangler is a greatly improved automobile. The fuel economy could be better for its size...but overall I am very please with the purchase. No buyers remorse...
Wranglers are the best
Jeep Wranglers are the best all terrain and all season vehicle. You can 4x4 in the snow during the winter and drive in the sand with the top off in the summer. The only thing is, you have to be into the ruggedness of a Jeep. It's not for anyone looking for luxury. It's fun, reliable and one of a kind.
