Used 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Consumer Reviews
Punkin Convertable
After a whole lot of Classic cars some old some new it is nice to have a convertible I do not have to wait for a nice day to drive . To find a convertible in the 30,000 range is tough other than a few with standard transmissions and that are low to the ground , are kids are grown so we pulled the back seat and stored it , This new JL was worth the money , all we got is AC and an automatic and that's fine, and with the resale value and how fun it is to drive I wish I would have bought one before . after driving 4000 miles the only thing I found is the light switch location could be changed , I hit it with my knee getting in and it cost 160$ for a new one installed other than that great jeep !

JK pitman arm failure
Read the forums before you buy! The steering box and the bolt above the pitman arm are junk. Mine snapped in half at an angle with only 100k miles. Thankfully slow speed making turn or jeep would have flipped. insurance won't touch it cause it's determined a defect. Thankfully my child was not in there. Had no after market lift, had stock 18" wheel size, jeep comes with 255 and I put 265s on with same width ratio. After bolt snapped all Chrysler said was bigger tires. They don't stand by their product. Anything to get out of part failure. Took over a month for a reply from investigation and all I got was 2 sentences in email. Had to contact attorney general and BBB and still on waiting for reply. Have my dodge ram 3500 up for sale due to Chrysler customer service! Too many recalls, my jeep has 9 alone and why the steering box and the bolt for the linkage/pitman arm are not one I have no idea. STAY AWAY! Love Cummins but won't buy another till they ditch Chrysler!

Replace Cylinder Head at 60K miles
I bought my jeep used at 20k miles. My check engine light came on at 60,800k. I took it to the dealership and the diagnosis is that the Cylinder Head needs to be replaced which is an estimated $4000 to repair. Chrysler Jeep would not help at all or back their product. The engine is a poor design for it to fail at 60k miles. I was only 800 miles out of the service agreement. They claim to have exceptional service and their product fails at 60k miles there is a poor design. This is a known issue that should be addressed. I have spoke to other jeep owners that have had to replace the same part. Customer service was not helpful at all.

2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara disappoints
Within first 3 months of ownership, it's been in repair for 29 days and counting for defective engine components (cam shaft, cylinder head). So disappointed in Jeep! Jeep refuses to replace the vehicle so going through Lemon Law process now. Even prior to the engine issues, the handling was very loose to the point of dangerous on the highway. Don't hit a pothole

Great in town or on dirt roads - not good on hwy
I enjoyed the Jeep driving around town or in the mountains but the long hwy rides were exhausting. The cabin was noisy and there was a lot of play in the steering wheel. When I took it to the dealer, they told me that was just the way they were.
