I‘m in love! This car is worth every penny. I‘m impressed by the workmanship of the interior and it‘s definitely roomy enough for two people. I find it too be very comfortable and easy to handle. Took me about 5 mins to get used to the steering. This vehicle is very well built and feels super safe. Can’t wait to take it off-roading and on road trips! MPG? Who cares! It‘s a Jeep Rubicon :)

Needs new seats every six months

I love this car with all my heart but the seats make more noise than a school bus full of kindergardeners, and Jeep won't stand behind it. Every six months they have to be replaced, and that's just not a price I'm willing to pay. Twenty months into having the car, and it's had three seat bases. I had to repair it myself because Jeep wouldn't do it. I love Jeeps, but I'd stick with the old ones. Update: Jeep reimbursed me for the cost of replacing the seat for the third time. Now there's rust forming around the windshield. The quality is not in line with the cost of the car. Would not recommend. Update 2022: After four years, the Jeep is mechanically sound. Small repairs, such as trim that was incorrectly installed and seats that needed to be rebuilt, I've taken care of myself. Other than routine maintenance, it hasn't asked for much from me. Update 2024: My seat repair "took," and I've had no more issues. They did not address the rust around the windscreen. When it was time to buy out the lease, the dealership from which the Jeep originated balked at offering assistance and told me to handle it on my own, which I was not comfortable doing, so I had to shop around for a dealership that would help.

2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sahara 4dr SUV 4WD (3.6L 6cyl 6M)

I purchased a used 2018 Sahara 4 door I4 2.0 Turbo in mid November 2022. Low mileage, no accidents, clean title, stock parts. I’ve drove jeeps without these issues and have friends with decades experience who don’t experience these issues. Dealership of purchase on smooth road, test drive checked out. Since ownership this jeep has never been taken off roads, and after a month of purchase little to no interstate driving has been done. By December 2022 in shop for concerns of death wobble and leaking at front door seals so severe my windows might as well be down. Track bar tightened, and told get new seals, jeeps leak. Zero improvements, had alignments checked, tires balanced and rotated, changed my detour for my daily commute to work. No longer drive on interstates, and drive with 2 towels on standby should I be out when it rains. Other complaints I noticed were the auto engine idle when braked at a light doesn’t work at times, leading to engine heating up by sitting at a light, mile gauge on odometer do not display consistently, at times upon start up can not display at all - have to turn car off and back on. Road noise picking up and additional alignment checks and track bar tightening, by June 2023 the car needed full rear different rebuild. By October 2023 rear end exploded leading to a rebuild, again. Two days after picking up from second rebuild, the engine starts overheating. Took to shop to further assess this concern and they didn’t note any leaking of fluid from underneath, but potential leaking and burning of coolant. At dealership to determine if it is head gasket or internal engine malfunction. I’m at loss of words of my current situation… Open to any/all advice moving forward. Most likely selling when it is out this time before warranty runs out and I don’t have a cushion for if something big goes wrong right after it runs out. After owning a car for 8+ years and over 250K miles and 6+ years of no car payment, my first car was totaled on my second day of work and I decided to take on a car payment and one year in… I am at loss of words and so upset with the situation I am in. To have to sell/trade in this vehicle when I owe all that I do.. downgrade to older vehicle and lose the 4WD capabilities I paid for and yet never used… kind of feels like a slap in the face. I will say I was pleasantly surprised with the gas mileage of the vehicle. Never avg < 20 MPG, usually get 24-26 MPG (Granted… I have not driven extensive time on interstate or at speeds higher than 60 mph all year). And I do get lots of compliments on it… not that anyone knows the real ringer this particular jeep has put me through in the 11 months I’ve had it so far. HOPING to come out with as small of a financial loss as possible at this point.

Better then I could have hoped!

Haven't had the vehicle long but have thoroughly enjoyed it since I purchased. Much more comfortable to drive then I would have thought it would be. As some one with a bad back, I was able to take this on a 4+ hour drive and have zero discomfort! That means a lot to me. The soft top is very easy to use and when it's closed, there is very little road noise. The only negative thing I can say, and its minor, is the USB input. It works fine but it does get a bit glitchy some times and it is not the most user friendly. Even with that, I LOVE the vehicle and am glad I purchased
