I only kept the jeep for 1 year and 9 months and traded it in for 2021 grand Cherokee L. During that time period I put 58K miles on jeep. Very little off road ( it was event free) and mostly even mix of highway and local streets. Jeep drove flawlessly during all this time. Only visited dealership for oil and tire rotation when needed. It’s by far one of the best vehicles I have owned in my life. V6 was a little coarse and didn’t have enough Torque for this size/weight. I opted for the 5.7 in my 2021 GC L. During its time with me there were no recalls or repairs needed. Breaks were fine and there were zero steering vibrations at high speed stops. My only “complaint “ would be that the rear view mirror on driver side door doesn’t angle out enough to give me full blind spot coverage (when I am in middle lane). I manually pushed it out to my desired location but upon each re entry, memory settings would bring it back to factory settings. Other then this, it was a flawless journey. Traded in for a 2021 grand Cherokee L summit 5.7

Bought another Jeep Grand Cherokee

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X 4dr SUV 4WD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

My wife and I have owned several Jeep Grand Cherokees over the years. She currently owns a 2020, so when I was in the market for a vehicle I immediedialy started looking at Grand Cherokees. Teh 3.6 liter six-cylinder engine is more than capable for normal tasks and even strong enough for light towing. Hence, one of the reasons I sought out the factory towign package. Manyother similarly sized SUVs have smaller engines that can seem a bit sluggish when trying to get up to highway speeds. This is NOT the case with Jeep's 3.6. As I said, we've owned Grand Cherokees in the past, and while all vehicles will have issues/breakdowns eventually, in our experience Jeep has been a reliable brand. So far I am really enjoying my new to me 2021 Grand Cherokee Laredo X.

We purchased a 2021 80 th anniversray edition last fall. Pretty much all the options you could get on the 4 wd version. It has been flawless and the gas lieage has averaged 22 mpg. far better than the subaru ascent that we traded in for the GC.

Couldn't justify the BMW X5 anymore

This vehicle is 95% of the X5 I used to have. The one missing part would be the ability to take high speed hair pin turns, but who does that anymore? Everything else is identical IMO - the size, the ride, the heated and ventilated seats, electric sunroof, the heated steering wheel, the electronics AND it has a few things the X5 didn't have like trailer hitch, tow hooks, skid plates and air suspension. All for half the monthly payment. Ok, less than half.

Ultimate SUV

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 4dr SUV 4WD (6.2L 8cyl S/C 8A)

I had previously leased a 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4. I loved the comfort, the ride, the handling, and even the pep of the V-6. I knew I would probably have to buy a GC variant at some point due to this prior experience. I recently took delivery of the ultimate grand Cherokee: a 2021 Trackhawk. It will have you grinning when you get behind the wheel, and laughing hysterically every time you get on the throttle. It is the ultimate, proud expression of an American midsize performance SUV. You can pay more, a lot more, from one of the European performance SUVs, but if you want the worlds most powerful SUV the Trackhawk is it! It handles great and the ride is excellent for a performance vehicle. Very comfortable ride overall, never harsh! For the 2022 model year the grand Cherokee will not include a Trackhawk version, so grab a 2021 while you can there’s a few left around the country :)
