I purchased the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in August, I had the car for about a month barely had 200 miles, I was driving and the vehicle started jerking on me. I knew it was a transmission because my last car did the same thing. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership, where they told me the transmission had went out and offered to repair the vehicle free of charge. First thing, you never want to get any major work done on a new vehicle so I declined and asked to speak with this manager. Hi express I was upset to the manager and asked to speak with the sales manager who offered me to exchange the vehicle for another same make and model. I was very upset and have not been happy with the vehicle ever cents, because they had to re-run my credit again and my car payment is a little bit higher. Update 1/28 I was getting ready to take the vehicle in for the two recalls, and the where update and my vehicle does not start today. I don’t know what the issue is! I contacted corporate office about a complaint, and expressed to them that I would like for them to buy back this vehicle. When you purchase a brand new vehicle you don’t want any problems at all. This vehicle is not reliable and I have a newborn. Also, my uconnect screen cuts off at times and a few days ago the vehicle started jerking. If you have any transmission problems with your vehicle, DO NOT LET THEN REPAIR A TRANSMISSION. You’ll exp other problems down the line.

Absolutely the best Suv I have ever had & test drove. Great looking too! V6 power is more than capable for towing or anything else under pressure. Love my new Jeep GRAND Cherokee larado 4x4.

Grand Cherokee a Very Pleasant Surprise

We both recently retired and one of the things we wanted to do is spend time touring back roads in Utah and Colorado. The Ford Edge ST we had was great on the highway but was not suitable for anything other then a well graded gravel road. We needed a vehicle that was just as pleasant on-road but had good off-road capabilities. We looked at a number of vehicles ranging fromr Broncos to 4 Runners but went with a Jeep Grand Cherokee 80th Anniversary. We actually prefer this over the Edge on-road and it is surprisingly competent off-road though not in the category of a Wrangler or Bronco. The dealer included a long term bumper to bumper warranty to help alleviate or concern about Jeep reliability. It's now winter here in Montana and the roads are snowpacked, I've owned 12 AWD and 4WD vehicles and this one is the best of them all on this type of road, especially in "snow" mode.

I only kept the jeep for 1 year and 9 months and traded it in for 2021 grand Cherokee L. During that time period I put 58K miles on jeep. Very little off road ( it was event free) and mostly even mix of highway and local streets. Jeep drove flawlessly during all this time. Only visited dealership for oil and tire rotation when needed. It’s by far one of the best vehicles I have owned in my life. V6 was a little coarse and didn’t have enough Torque for this size/weight. I opted for the 5.7 in my 2021 GC L. During its time with me there were no recalls or repairs needed. Breaks were fine and there were zero steering vibrations at high speed stops. My only “complaint “ would be that the rear view mirror on driver side door doesn’t angle out enough to give me full blind spot coverage (when I am in middle lane). I manually pushed it out to my desired location but upon each re entry, memory settings would bring it back to factory settings. Other then this, it was a flawless journey. Traded in for a 2021 grand Cherokee L summit 5.7
