Used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
Why did they mess up the steering?!??
Edmunds nailed it with the steering. Our 2018 lease was up so we picked up the 2021. Pretty much the same ride except the steering. I don't know if it's the weight distribution or what, but vehicle feels like it throws itself into turns. The back is loose. It's scary as hell.. The Mrs drives it, doesn't notice it, when I do I'm losing my mind over it. Would I buy another? Only of they resolve the steering.. Me: Age 59, Ram 1500, Porsche 996 Twin Turbo.

paint not good
Bought my Grand Cherokee 2021 new . It has been fair so far. But my complaint is that the paint is chipping on the two doors. I went to the dearler and of course they said it was from rock chips. I had to put on mud flaps. 130.oo worth. It has only 7500 miles. I have had GMC and Buick and no chips, was wondering if anyone else is having this problem

Want to like it
I owned the limited for one year. The seats are junk. Firm and I can feel the metal clips at the bottom of back. Glitchy screen. Brakes apply while in reverse.

Overall good but... beware!
I leased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X and have had it for about 2 1/2 years now. Overall I like the style, power, and the way the vehicle drives. The gas mileage (about 20 mpg average for me) could be better but it is a mid-sized SUV. However... at 38,500 miles the AC system failed and it cost me $3,750.00 to fix it (the basic warranty expired at 36,000 miles and since it's a lease that was ending soon why buy up on an extended warranty). The AC compressor seized up and sent metal shavings through the entire system so the condenser, compressor, core (basically the entire AC system) had to be replaced! When discussing the issue with a service department rep at my dealership he told me in confidence that having an extended warranty is advisable because he's see a lot of different "issues" with these vehicles. Having an AC system fail at 38k miles is very disappointing(!) and makes me wonder what else will fail? So if you like Grand Cherokees beware and buy up on any extended warranties or you may wind up with big repair bills.
