Used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
A Good One!
We are a Ford family, but were not really impressed with the current Ford lineup as there just wasn't anything very exciting available. I was (and still am) interested in the 2011 (or 2012) Explorer reboot, but I wanted a new ride sooner. I researched the heck out of every mid-size SUV out there. For the money and build quality, this one cannot be beat. I picked up my Laredo X as soon as it hit the dealership lot. I've never viewed the Grand Cherokee as a practical family hauler. The 2011 changes all of that. I feel very safe driving this beauty and my kids love it. Handles great, rides great, looks great.
Second JGC
Having owned a 2000 w/v8, I knew that they are great all rounders. This new machine blows it out of the water, love the exterior shape along with the Inferno Red, I get lots of thumbs up from other drivers. I wanted another Jeep with the V8 due to towing needs, this 5.7L definitely gets the job done with fairly good fuel economy, having gotten 23 mpg (at 75 mph cruise) on a recent long distance trip. This thing eats miles in superb style, exceedingly comfortable Euro like ride and handling, you're not tired at the end of the ride! Jeep has really knocked this one miles out of the proverbial ballpark, my sister wants one now.

4 weeks and 4300 miles....great vehicle!
I bought my Limited with Hemi about a month ago and promptly moved coast to coast. It is a comfortable, well equipped SUV and our first new vehicle in 17 years. We drove the LR2/4, Q5, XC60/90 and ML350 before buying the Jeep. The Jeep has the ride of the Germans, the Offroad capability of the British and the styling of the Americans. Without a doubt, the best capability/performance/value out there today. After a week and 2800 miles, I know we picked a winner.
Great Ride, Crappy Nav/U Connect
I have had this SUV for a month and a half. It rides great. Not truck like at all. Great exterior and interior. Quality of the interior is the best I've seen and felt. I bought the V6 and it's power is adequate, not great, but not weak either. I personally don't think you need the Hemi unless you want to tow something heavy. My biggest complaint is the Nav/ Uconnect system. The voice recognition poor. You can't type in the phone number you want to call. You can't see a list of your contacts to select via touchscreen. I prefer the nav/computer system in my BMW. Graphics on the Nav is really poor, but I didn't buy it for that, rather it's great ride and off road ability
Impressed
Traded in Gl350 Blue Tec for this and glad I did. Much better all around. Gas mileage isn't bad, but my GL got 26 and is a much bigger car.
