Used 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
i love it
its perfect evrything i ever was looking for in a suv easy to drive rides like a dream has plenty of power
ITS NOT A BENZ
I OWN A 2003 E-CLASS MERCEDES BENZ. LIVING IN THE NORTHEAST AND HAVING A BENZ IS LIKE TAKING YOUR LIFE IN YOUR HANDS WITH THE ICE AND SNOW. I DECIEDED TO GARRAGE MY BENZ AND BUY A NEW 2004 JEEP SPECIAL EDITION FOR THE WINTER. WE HAVE HAD PLENTY OF STORMS IN THE NORTHEAST AND I HAVE NOT MISSED A BEAT USING MY NEW 2004 JEEP SPECIAL EDITION.

WOW!
This SUV is a blast! Sold my '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee after 165K, which only had minor issues. 2004 model has a more comfortable ride than my older one. V8 offers a lot of power off the line or merging into highway trafic. You'll be in the fast lane before you know it. I was shocked the first time I looked down at the speedometer and saw 80, thought I was doing 65. The Special Addition comes with all the bells and wistles of the Limited at a lower price point.
2004 Jeep Overland
Solid frame, excellent power, good handling for a SUV. Jeep has been doing it for so long, it only gets better. Very reliable vehicle.
Unreliable
I bought the 2004 GC Overland in 2006 with 27,000. I have had nothing but issues with this unit. Brake rotors (at 27k), all 4 window motors, seat heaters, ac had to be replaced, seat motors, the roof was rusting, power steering pump.. the list goes on..you name it. I loved the vehicle when I purchased it but let me warn you, these are a maintenance nightmare. Avoid Jeep, I have spent over 5k in repairs over the years (most happened right after the 36k warranty expired.) I gladly traded this nightmare in for a Toyota, my first foreign car. (I previously bought from the big three however cant risk or afford another situation like this.) To hell with Jeep and Chrysler!
