2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

I purchased my new 2001 well into 2002
and it was a spur of the moment
purchase, which was unfortunate because
I should have done more research - I
may have passed.

It's been a nice ride, but don't
expect it to have a long life.

Best Features

Pros: AWESOME in the snow!!! As well as any offroading. Heated seats are toasty hot - stereo clear and loud, and the Jeep has a lot of get-up-and-go when you feel a bit sassy on the pavement.

Worst Features

100-10,000 miles powersteering broke. DS heated seat broken, needed to see service twice. 5,000-20,000 miles CD changer replaced 3 times, indash replaced once. Can shift very rough with a loud clunk - afraid tranny might drop onto the ground. Spongy brakes - NOTHING like BMW.
