My Jeep
I bought this Jeep used in Aug '04. It was a leased vehicle. Everything has been working perfectly, and given the 8 cylinder engine I'm impressed with the mileage. The only problem that still exists with this style Jeep is the power window track mechanism. Just like in my old '85 Jeep it broke around 50,000 miles. You think they'd have this problem fixed by now.

Good Choice
I bought the Jeep used with 18,000 miles. This is the fifth Jeep Cherokee I have owned, the second Grand Cherokee, and is the best. The interior fit and finish is exceptional; the car is very well appointed and rich in its presentation. I have had no repairs to date, with the mileage now at 64,000. It has been an excellent car. It gets approx. 16-18 MPG around the city, and 20-22 MPG on a straight highway trip.
Never again Chrysler!
My '01 JGC is my second jeep, I loved it when I bought it. Great looking, awesome 4x4 ability, comfortable. But at 11k miles it all changed. Since then I have had 4 sets of warped rotors, 2 tranny jobs, a coolant leak for 1 year which no one can find, the constant low coolant warning tones and messages for it, and new gas shocks that couldn't improve the ride. Congrats Chrysler this is the last of your cars I will ever buy! Poor MPG as well
First Jeep... maybe the last.
Purchased in 2005 with 54,000 miles, now has 101,000. Drives great for an SUV, corners like a sports car. Getting around 18-20 on the highway. Only things have gone wrong are two speakers have blown, both heated seats went out, power steering pump, driveline seal, some interior parts are not quality made. other than those few items this Jeep has impressed me since the day I bought it. Still get looks when I'm driving it. Looks brand new still. Probably will not buy another Jeep, because of the reliability issue.
