Used 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
Great Car - but not the cheapest
Purchased my 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (V8 5.2 L) in the summer of '02 with 96,000 miles on it from Valley Dodge in Boulder, CO. 2 weeks after I bought it, it needed some repairs - the starter and a couple of factory recall items as well. Other fixes throughout the years - Power Steering, Idle Motor, A/C Pump, Coolant Sensor, 4x4 Switch, Power Window Switch, Battery (2x), ext Paint, and other minor interior items, but overall the engine has continued to run like a champ at 160K+ miles now - and not even an oil leak! The interior is loaded (...with things that can break...) and power everything, AWESOME for city driving or off-roading - would recommend the Limited model over other models.
Awesome Cherokee
This Jeep Runs and Runs. With only minor, aor things that do wear-out having to be replaced, it has performed wonderfully. Now, alas, I need a bigger SUV and Jeep won't fit the bill for me, so I'm moving on. The in-line 6 is the best engine I've ever owned, easy to work on, also.

Great Jeeps
This is a great vehicle, i have loved mine since the minute i first drove it, the only real problem i can find is gas mileage
a real 4x4
Great off road capabilities. Pretty comfortable on the road too, forget what all those old editors say. They are just used to their cadillacs, and cant understand why a real truck would be a little harsher over the bumps than a car. Really beats all the wanna- bees from the foreigns and ford. If you dont mind kinda bad gas mileage, its the way to go.

Overall, I'm in love with my JEEP. Bought it to satisfy my-next-car-is-a-4x4-v8-and-jeep. Been all over, in all terrain, and love it.
