This is an Awesome Care, would recomend
I bought this car after my 1987 Mercedez-Benz 300d Turbo decided to keel over on me January 1, 2007. (Happy Freaking NEW YEARS RIGHT?) Anyway I searched and searched for Infiniti's that had a sporty look while offering power and This one Will DRIVE you into the ground if you could steer it! I can't believe that after 121,000 miles it still purrs like a kitten, and growls like a lion when needed. I have some minor repairs to make but at 2,500 dollars for the car, it was a steal.
Solid
The Q 45 has proved be to be a worthy investment for my self. I purchased this vehicle for $3,800. It had 144,000miles and is a 94'. I've owned this car for 2years now , and it has been a jem!! The power is awesome and it still turns heads. There is no way I would purchase a car new, I would rather ride in pure luxury at a fraction of the cost.

Luxury Muscle car
The 1994 infiniti Q45 has been my daily cruiser for years now. its powerful v8 lets me merge into traffic without worring about the 5.0 mustang trying to accelerate to not let me in. the interior is classy and comfortable, the suspension won best in luxury class in 1994 and it proves it every day on the horrible nyc roads. its design dosent show its age. it has many options that were advanced for its time. over all its a beautiful luxurious car able to be held up agains the big boys of mercedes bmw and audi anyday..
Very good to have
I purchase the car brand new I'm very happy. Still driving good only repair I have battery. knock sensor, oil change.and 4 times brake change use only infinity parts.
nicest car in my college parking lot
I just got my infiniti Q 2 days ago. its the nicest car i have ever owned. i have had porsches, lexus, bmw, all kinds of cars and this is by far my favorate. the car has 100k on the odometer and it purrs like a kitten. the only down side like everyone else says is the gas mileage. other than that the car rides like a dream. it has german luxury at a japan price
Q45A Highs & Lows
My experience with the Q was awesome when I first got it.The Limited Slip work and everything, but time passed and it went then the Antilock brakes went shortly thereafter. I just want to know what is the cost of all this stuff because I'm scared to go to the dealership to ask for fear of them having hike-up prices because I'm still driving a classic beauty on the street. Let's just face it, the 90-95 Q's look better than newer models(00- 05).
WOW What a feeling !!!
It is a great vehicle. I have looked at and driven some new cars that have less performance appeal and comfort than my Q with 127,000 miles.
1994 Q45a - well design luxury performer
I purchased this car used with 110,000 miles, and she remains as tight and as solid a new car. The power plant still amazes me and has a wonderfully "throaty" sound when put to the test. The pneumatically assisted "active" suspension eliminates body roll and nose diving for an incredible stable drive thats a pleasure on curvy roads. Breaking performance is superior.
Sleeper
Fast, quiet (really quiet), great riding car. Definite tourer. A bit bulky and heavy, car weighs 4200+, more than the average SUV. Would have been awesome if they had taken a couple hundred pounds out of it. Gas mileage hovers just under 20 mpg.
Q45
Bought the car for $2500, can't beat getting the equivalent of a BMW 740 at that price. Engine is smooth, yet very throaty at full throttle. Car of course is 4200 lbs so performance is somewhat subpar due to the weight and "old person" gearing/shift points (Can be mostly remedied with a new ECU). I consistently get 26 mpg which is great for a V8. Front end styling along with factory wheels are rather uninspired/too small.
Lots of car for the money
This is an incredible car.The original list was $50K and I got mine for $10,500 with only 43,000 miles last year. It is expensive to maintain both at the gas station and in the garage as the mileage is terrible and you need to use premium fuel. The tires dont last long because of the weight of the car and ditto on the brakes. Also the Q45a (active suspension)is great when it works but mine is shot and it would cost $5,000 to fix so I do without the smooth ride that others may enjoy. But that doesnt stop me from strongly recommending this awesome, reliable and affordable luxury car that you can look and feel great in.
Sport Sedan
Don's understand why anyone would buy a Toyota instead of the Q45. Hey, those guys "Click and Clack" recommend it. Its just a great buy. Lots of power, plenty of comfort. All models come LOADED with standard features.
the best
Excellent big car with the Touring package. It drives like a high performance car especially with Michelin tires.Very reliable.
LUXURY BARGAIN!
I bought the car for my mother about two years ago. It was in near mint condition with 94000 miles. I don't know why the Q45 doesn't hold its resale value, but I didn't complain when I only paid $8,000 for it in 2001. I found the original window sticker from 1994 in the glove compartment listing the car for $54,000.
Q45t--What a surprise!
I usually replace my cars every 2-3 years. I've owned my Q45t for nearly 10 years. It still runs and looks as new. Car is fun to drive, excellent build quality, and far more reliable than any Benz or BMW that I have owned. Dealer Service is the best. Manufacturer stays in touch with its customers.
1994 Q45 Flagship Model?
Cant complain too much - so far the car has 140,000 miles on it. Regular repairs have been performed. Went through 2 altanators, fuel pump and control module and a $1800 60k mile tune-up (ouch!). The car doesn't perform as it once did. Disappointed for a car that origially sold for $52k. Engine not as quiet as the LS400. Must say the car has a lot of upper end power; took it to 115 MPH - smooth as a silk.
Great car that l still enjoy
Can be pricey to maintain when something breaks because not everyone has experience working on this rare car and parts can be difficult to purchase but quality materials originally used and still over engineered. Some of the plastic interior bits like the sunroof switch and interior mirrors don’t age well but still enjoy the performance and overall driving experience

huh?
First any large vehicle I've owned other than an old Mercury Marquis. The only misgiving I have (more of a sense of guilt) is its poor mileage. My previous car was a Toyota Camry which give better than 35 mpg.
Great machine
GREAT machine. Incredible power and comfort. Nice price. The best!!!
Disapointed in the long run
I bought this car as a surprise for my wife. The first two months we had it were fine. Then the valve cover gaskets had to be replaced, which took two weeks to do,and $900.00.Then the car kept stalling, which was the gas cap ,the second one we replaced in 10,000 miles of ownership. We had a bunch of other little flair ups with the electrical, but the final problem was the fuel injection, and at that point we gave up and got rid of the car.
