Used 2011 Hyundai Tucson Consumer Reviews
best compact suv value
this is the forth hyundai i have owned and the best.the features and benifits outweigh the jeep compass and the rav4,crv etc .don't pay more and get less . the hyundai quality and depenability are the best.
Good mileage so far!
I like my Hyundai, just got it 3 weeks ago, it looks great for me, sport style. I got 35 mpg driving in the interstate the first day I bought it. So far the best gas mileage combined city and highway is 27 mpg, not bad for a SUV. My dealership offered me the special paint that will protect the car paint for ever, "unlimited warranty", I hope it works well, and I got the undercoating option too, "unlimited warranty" as well.

Poor gas mileage
I considered this vehicle initially because it was rated with 27/32 mpg. Not even close. I now notice it is rated 20/27 mpg. Were they not being truthful? I love the car, how it drives, and the styling, but I will not ever get over this mileage issue--especially since gas prices have gotten so high. I agree with other reviewers that the rear window needs a water squirter and that egress causes dirt on your leg due to the wide sill plate. The center console does not have a shallow tray so I went to the kitchen store and bought a small baking pan to hold my little stuff. Weird, huh?
I LOVE My Tucson!
I just bought my 2011 Hyundai Tucson GLS two days ago. I went to the dealer, not really looking to buy, just to test drive. I looked at the Tucson and the Sante Fe. Utimately, the final selling point on the Tucson was the EPA ratings. I traded my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee (which I really loved, but it got terrible gas mileage at 17.4 mpg combined) for the Tucson. The dealer was wonderful, and gave me top dollar for my Jeep. I walked away with a fully-loaded Tucson, and my monthly payment only went up by $15. So far, I have put about 150 miles on the Tucson, and it says I am getting 25.6 mpg combined. I am so happy considering gas mileage was my deciding factor.
Great value for the money
Hi, I've clicked over 6 thousand km in this car now, and it's been nothing but good so far. I took the top of the line model and even added the front and rear guards, and side steps. Anyway, I've listed my likes/dislikes. For the money, the car is definitely great value and well worth it. I am a happy camper!
