Used 2003 Hyundai Sonata Sedan Consumer Reviews
2003 Sonata GLS AT
Really big bang for the buck! Features and warranty far in excess of Japanese comparatives. I have been a Honda and Mitsubishi motorist for years, but this Hyundai exceeds all expectations. Very pleased with preliminary performance.
This is a Hyundai?
I have owned new Acura's / Honda's for the past 13 yrs... I went out looking to purchase a used Accord and during my search I saw this really sharp looking car, one that I could not readily identify. Hyundai has come a long way... For the money, std. features and warranty nothing else comes close. I purchased a 2003 GLS on 1/25/03. It's only been one week, but I am very happy with the car.
AN OUTSTANDING VEHICLE
37K IN 15 MONTHS AND NOT A PROBLEM. ROCK SOLID! SAVED 4.5K OVER A SIMILARLY EQUIPPED TOY OR HONDA. I LIKED IT SO MUCH, THAT I PURCHASED A 2D HYUNDAI PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HYUNDAI.
Great car!
Bought this car used from the previous owner at a great price. My husband found the bargain and I was not so sure at first, but after a complete detailing and some personal touches I'm in love! This car looks like a little jag and handles like a dream. She has looks and kick. The headlights were cloudy and yellowing when I bought her but I found a plastic polish from Meguire's that made them look almost new again. Since purchase, she has needed new tires w/ alignment and a new spark plug (tune-up soon). The washer fluid pump does not work, will have to look into for repair. Rear view mirror functions not working either.
Not Bad
Purchased a new 2003 Sonata LX V6 in Dec 2002. Have put 3,000 miles on it and it runs great. I agree with others, this cars is not as polished as a Toyota or Honda. We useally buy larger America cars. The Sonata matches them in ride but has less power. The trunk space looked good when we bought the car. But on our first trip found the rear speakers and other stuff really cut into the useable trunk space. Overall, we are very happy with the car and feel it is a great value.
