i get a smile every time i get into this car, after that my smile gets bigger! i've owned an MG years ago and this is way better. This car will scare most people before it gives and when it does it does gently. I drive it like a madman and my wife can drive it and be cool, its a wonderful machine!!

I am extremely happy with my S2000, 2002!!!! I haven't had any problems with it. It handels well, and has alot of power... It was recently featured 8/27/2003 Los Angeles Times Highway 1. I do not agree that it is a poormans Porche, I could have bought a Boxster S, but Why??? This car is awesome!!!!!!!!

This is my SECOND 2003 S2000, and it's flawless like the first! It's a blast to drive, top up or down. It always draws attention.

The preformance of this car is amazing. It handles like the cars in the $60,000 range. The handling on the curves are its better features, it tuck into the curve, like there is a groove in the road made for it. The more you challenge the engine the more it likes it. The high red line makes for a different drive then any other vehicle I have owned before. It has two personalities, one is a well built nice driving little two seat with a sweet look, then your get it into the 6.5 RPMs and it is a monster. It can scream through curves. red lines at 9000 RPMs. it is a car you have to "REALLY Drive" to understand and appreciate!

As being a convertible doesn't attract enough attention, the S2000 is quite the head-turner. Because of Honda's limited production of the model, there are few on the road and people are always doing double-takes. It's an all- around great car - fast, fun, beautiful, reliable. Being such a hot- looking, two-seater makes it almost an impractical luxury but, hey, it's Honda - so "impractical" is just not possible!

this is an amazing street legal race car. plunge the gas padle and drop your clutch, the roar from the exhaust will make you believe you are in a rocket, a topless one. steering is perfect, handling is precise, braking is stable and powerful to say the least. this is one car that has all the major components perfectly orchestrated each time you sit behind the wheel. there is simply no better sports car one can buy for $35K.

Since purchasing my 2000 Honda S2000 more than two months ago, I find myself often driving the long way home from work. Everything about the S2000 just feels right. From the exotic exterior to the fit like your favorite jeans interior, the Honda S2000 is an amazing car. I traded my 2002 RSX Type-S in for a Honda Certified 2000 S2000 with 12 thousand miles over two months ago. Being that the car is my daily driver, I was concerned that the while the car would be fun to drive, it would deliever a rough overall ride. So far the car only feels slightly stiffer than my last two Honda's (GS-R and a RSX-S)and is very easy to drive around town in.

Absolutely the funnest car ever built. Takes me back to the days of my MGBs, only with the comforts, conveniences and reliability of a Honda. Quite a few people don't even know what it is! But they are all impressed with its looks and styling. Don't use for everyday commuting and grocery store runs...this is strictly a fun, take-to- the-mountains, "getaway" car. It's everything the reviews say it is. The engine SCREAMS!! It is so fun it's almost scary. You want to go faster and faster thru the corners, and it just STICKS to the road. Keeps the adrenaline going for sure. Best car purchase I've ever made.

For under $35k you will not find a better performance car for the money. I challenge anyone to find a car that will do sub 5.5 sec 0-60 for this price. There are many cars out there that will do this for $70k or $125k, but not $33k. Some complain about the torque on the car, but honestly, if the car does 0-60 in 5.5sec, there is enough torque there, whether the number is high or not is not the issue. Some people do not get it, you can have a car with extreme torque that takes 7 seconds to get to 60mph.

After more than 3 months, I still get a big smile when I see my red Honda. It is incredibly fun to drive, and it amazes me that I have avoided a ticket! I love it more and more... Fundamentally it is a driver's car. Comfort is for driving, nothing more. It's not a lot of fun with the top up since you are so low to the ground and it is very tough to see to the right rear of the car. But with the top down, you are transformed. You feel like driving a souped up go cart. It turns so tight, accelerates so well. I turned 51 this year, so this is my mid-life crisis car, and I don't have a second of regret. Enjoy....

There can't be a better place in the world to test yourself than the twisting, turning roads of Tennessee. I meet a lot of other roadster drivers here and the talk is always how the S 2000 drives. I can't compare it much because my only other sports car was an antique Porche. This one screams, hugs the corners and goes where you point it. There's no frills in this car to take up your slack except antilock brakes which I appreciate. It's trully a sports car and will test any drivers skill but also instills confidence and makes you want to do it all again. It makes your dopamine levels surge when you do it right!

This is the most exciting and fun to drive car on the market. The transmission is flawless and exact. The body is solid and remains flat in the corners. The build quality is top. The car's ergonomics superior to any other. This car is right off the race track. If you are a driving enthusiast, you will love the Honda S2000.

This is a kick ass automobile. Not only does it look good it performs to the max. Forget about the boxster, this car is the choice. People look at it and don't know what it is, but they want it. And the BMW? try fitting your clubs in the trunk - you'll need a tow package to carry them. Not with the S2000, mine fit perfectly! What else could you ask for. Handles the curves like a slot car.

a true drivers car,absolute pure performance.if your looking for all the creature comforts of todays modern luxury cars go buy a 3 or 5 series BMW,but if you like the thought of almost 9k shifts ,screaming motor,back road driving,this is your car!

Get over it HondaMan. So you hit something and blew the tire, that's not the car's fault!!! This car has amazing performance for the price, blew the doors off of my friends Boxster that comes with a sticker that's $10k higher!!

Yeah it goes and I mean, it goes. The ride is a little choppy and the interior is a little cramped (it forces me to keep the clutter down because there's nowhere to put it). But man, you won't find a more fun car to drive in this price range! I saw it in the Honda show room and fell in love! And it's 6 speeds! If you want to turn heads everywhere you go and have people beside you at gas stations ask you about your car, then buy it. I even had some people driving a Civic and sitting beside me at a red light ask me what kind of Honda it was because they had never seen one before. And they were mighty impressed.

If I couldn't have gotten this one. I would have chosen a BMW convertible. My car is wonderful fun! It's white with tan leather. It HUGS the road in all kinds of rain storms. My other car is a Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab. It's fabulous too!!

The wife decided I needed a little 30 anniversary present. Something a little snappier than my 375hp 2000 Silverado. We'll compared to my 66 427 vett and 8 or nine other new BMW, Porcshe, Mazda, and Nissans, this unit wins hands down. Took it to the track does an honest 156mph, gives excellent handling, and still is great to drive 103 miles to work everyday. Good job Honda, nice mix of race and sports car. Add a supercharger, big tires and Koni's and this would be a nice race car.

For the comparatively small amount of money, this rocket brings a lot of excitement. It is an extremely fast car for a 4 cylinder: the 9000 RPM redline is atrocious. Ive hit it a few times and its quite an experience. Its a very light car so the acceleration gets the heart pumping fast. It is kind of like strapping a rocket between your legs. You get the sound, acceleration, and feel of doing so. On dry days, it grips the road like glue. Shifting and steering are superb. Its a loud car, so if your looking for peace and quite, buy a Buick.

The 2002 S2000 was a great car but the 2003 seems to be just a little nicer. The seat is far more comforatable with lots of leg and hip room, stereo sounds little nicer, interior lighting is better design, and other little things like that. Still handles like a dream, shifts smoothly, excellerates quickly, it is fairly quiet inside considering it is a convertible. I am tall and with the top down can still wear a golf visor without the wind whipping it off my head, which my 2002 used to do. Had my silver 2002 for a year, but when I went to get the oil changed they had a yellow 2003 on the showroom floor. Love at first sight!

The s2000 is the best sports car under 40 grand. This honda smokes the z3, audi tt, z4, miata, porsche boxster (over $50,000 and a $33,000 car smokes it)all in all honda out worked themselves with this 240hp, 0-60 in aprox. 5.2 seconds almost reaching the 911 porsche.

In low RPM, the S2000 drives like a normal car. Select a lower gear and press the gas pedal, a smile will come upon your face. It doesn't get better than this!

This was more race car than I wanted. More like a slot car than anything else. Great fun to drive. I am 5'9 so car was comfortable. It was not a car to take on road trips or heavy traffic though. Lots of road noise, even for a convertible. I think the car was more quiet with top down. There is a reason they put a volume control on the steering wheel, you are always turning up the stereo to hear it over the road noise.

I've own this car for a year now .Bought it after seeing a friends but never drove it till a saleman let me take his out for a test drive.WOW!! Never again concidered the BMW or the Porsche I had test driven.Now after all this time I just read all your reviews, again WOW!,they are right on.I LOVE THIS CAR. Still excite me to go driving!

This car just wants to move! It handles great and is just a fun car to drive. Gas milage is fine for the amount of power you get. I would buy another one with no questions asked.

The S2000 has been a very good purchase. It is, as one should know, not a practical car--ie, you do not plan a month long trip with several suitcases etc to go along, but it is a fun, racy, get-up-and-go car that just makes life a little more enjoyable.

I believe this is the most amazing car I have ever owned. For the size and price range of this car you can't beat it. It handled as good as any sports car I have ever driven and what a blast to drive. Ever since I saw this in 2000 I knew I wanted it. THen In 2002 when I purcased it I didn't know what was in store for me! I had only seen the outside of this car but this a lot more to it. I think the dashboard is coolest thing. And when your shyifting through the gears and get up to max hp it is so cool!! And can you believe it only has a 2 liter engine. All in all The Honda S 2000 is the best car. Vroom vroom

The screaming 9000 RPM engine is a heavenly sound that awakens me every morning to prepare me for another day! I've heard criticisms that the engine evenually wears on one because of noise and high RPM requirements. Quite to the contrary, after 5500 miles, the four cyclinder's thrilling sound still awakens the teenager within me. Suspension and ride? Absolutely incredible! No shakes and not as harsh as the M Roadster. Tight and firm! Build quallity? Second to none! No irritating returns to the dealership. Looks? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'll take it over BMWs Z4 any day of the week.

The Honda S2000 is the most fun to drive car I have ever owned. My nickname for this car is "My streetlegal formula one racer" License plate for my sandstone silver car is "QCKSLVR".

i do not own but drove friends, this is definatly my dream car to buy in the near future. It is amazing from every aspect. With its most powerful engine per litre in retail production (120h.p/litre) it can definatly perform and keep up with alot of stuff out there, by the way the Dodge viper only gets about 50 h.p per litre for comparsion! The handling on this car is impecable, wow it can ride on the road liek its a train on rails, so responsive also. Ya, I can go on and on about my day of fun in this car. - worth every penny of the 30-some thousand dollars it costs.

Faster than any car on the list for 32K, plus Honda quality. Have to spend over a 100K on a Porsche 911 Turbo to get this performance. Remember, this is only a 2-liter engine.

very solid. excellent handling; right amount of oversteer for experienced driver. peaky engine; great modulation in turns. good seats. best shifter to come out of a factory.
