Used 2020 Honda Ridgeline Consumer Reviews
What I expected and more!
I have been researching a midsize truck for six months, But I’ve only owned this vehicle two weeks/900 miles. These vehicles seem to hold their value well, so you might want to look at a 2020 model as they close them out over the next few months versus buying a 2019 or less. We got a great deal on a 2020. We were surprised today when GPS landed us on a washed out, rocky road with no way to back up, in the North Carolina mountains. I shifted into the mud mode of driving and we moved safely through large rocks and deep ruts on this narrow pig path of a road. I’ve got some mud to clean off, but no problems with traction with the standard tires. I like the nine speed transmission; allows you with paddle shifting to downshift going down steep hills and in normal situations smoothly shifts without confusion. Running in the “green mode” shuts off the engine at complete stops (I like it!); even that is on/off with one push of a button on the console. Contrary to what some say, the brakes are quite adequate and handled the mountains in western North Carolina well. In the first 800 miles I’m getting 22.7 miles per gallon overall with regular gas. This includes highway driving and a loaded truck trip into the mountains and city use. The trunk inside the truck bed, the swing to the side tailgate, and if that’s not enough for speakers in bedded in the truck bed plus the 110 outlet in the bed sold me on this truck over the Ranger and Tacoma. I wouldn’t want the jeep gladiator is I wanted a daily driver that would be comfortable and roomy in the cab in addition to doing the rough stuff appalling stuff in the bed and pulling an average trailer. I would definitely choose the RTL Dash E version again. Hopefully in the next three years they’ll be a hybrid version of this truck that’s just as powerful. That’s when it will be trade in time.

Great Truck?
Some people don’t call this a truck, I do. I don’t go 4 wheeling or off roaming. It’s a perfect truck for everyday use, fantastic ride, all the new safety features, dual option tailgate with a huge trunk. I love it!

I love my truck@
I've been considering buying a Ridgeline for sometime and have read many reviews and am so glad I did. The cab is so comfortable and features amazing and I love I can fold up the backseats and use all that space behind along with the awesome bed trunk. I love the way it drives and am glad that it has a V6 engine as it drives very smooth.
