Honda has outdone themselves this time.
I purchased a new Ridgeline about 6 mounths ago, I was one of the first to own one in Minnesota, My only regret is that they didn't make this truck years ago. I traded in my 04 Trailblazer on it and there is no comparison. You couldnt give me another GM product. This Ridgeline is made with quality right from the start. You can feel it when you drive it, and see it when you look at it. It is a lot of fun to drive, gets great mileage (21 mpg highway) and turns heads too. I could not even begin to describe this work of art in only 300 characters. I would not hesitate to recommend this vehicle to my freinds.
The perfect truck for a car guy!
1 Month, and 1,200 miles later, I love this truck! I've wanted a truck for about 18 months. But I hated to drive and ride in one. Either they were too unrefined to drive, or too big. The Ridgeline gives you a smooth, quiet ride with the refinements of a sedan. It's sized like a mid-size SUV, but it feels more nimble. Drives great in the snow. I've been a GM buyer, and never would have purchased a Honda. But Honda must have had the suburban homeowner (ie. ME!) in mind when they designed the Ridgeline. This is a perfect truck!
The Best
I am extremely happy with the Ridgeline. The storage space is unbeleiveable-rubber bottoms on all of the dash board holders. Always four wheel drive. The lines of the truck, the smooth ride, everything. I have owned Fords, Chevrolets, and Toyotas, but I think I have a real winner with the Ridgeline.
Great but not perfect
The Ridgeline is a very impressive truck, and it is a Honda through and through. The engineering, design and build quality are impecable. I do, however, have two issues with the truck. First, the darn thing beeps at you every half mile until you put your seat belt on. I get it after the first beep. I don't need my car strong-arming me into clicking the belt. Second, the cab could use a little more room, especially if it's going to compete with full size trucks. The size is perfect for my wife, but if I were driving it full time, I'd feel a bit cramped. The under-bed trunk is perfect. No more grocery bags sliding around in the bed.
2006 Ridgeline RTS
I didn't expect to buy this yet, as I still had 10 months left on the Tundra. But I got such a good deal with 0% financing for 5 years, that I could not resist. Only have about 150 miles on it, but I really love the way this truck rides, handles and operates for creature comfort. Will be towing a motorcycle/sidecar combination with it, so that should be interesting. It gets a lot of looks and great comments. Everywhere I go, it is really an attention getter. But it deserves it. It is one great truck. And that after 15 years of Toyotas, 3 tacos and 1 tundra. Early mileage around town is very hige teens, but too earlhy to tell. Get yours now!
