So far so good. I have not had time to acclimate to all the bells and whistles. But while it has a lot some are not too easy to figure out. It takes some time and research to do so. It could be because I am not to technology savvy. Otherwise it is a Great car!. Lots of room in the back seating9 or so say my passengers).

Passengwer side seat moved
My wife know how to adjust a seat, passenger side seat was not power,. when I made my first turn on the test drive her seat moved, literally moved. It was locked in place. Her seat moved again twice more as we headed back to the dealer. Do not buy this car if you do not tests the passenger seat. This is dangerous for the passenger and not something the lemon law will do anything about so buyer beware.

My husband traded my honda pilot for this piece of crap 2018 crv. If you wan t to drive a 1999 car, then buy this. no storage space in the back every thing is just going to fly around or you have to put the thing were your tire goes. camera suck if u use it u will hit something this camera show thing s are far away when they are really close, and it's blurry. I hate it with a passion worst thing my husband did to me and he financed it which makes matters worst. Horrible!!!!! A very dissatisfied customer!!!!!

You Should See My CR-V
The 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L carries on Honda's long-standing tradition of building very comfortable, reliable, well performing, and attractive cars. My wife and I considered several different mid-sized SUV's, but came to the inescapable conclusion the Honda CR-V was the car for us. The car rides extremely well and has all the safety features one would want. The car is roomy enough in the cargo area to carry 4 sets of golf clubs and my 90 year-old mother-in-law has no trouble getting in and out of the car. And, although not the most important factor, everyone who has seen the car has commented on its good looks.

It has been a great SUV. Drove it to Hilton Head last week and it almost drives itself with the adaptive cruise control. 32 mpg on the highway.

Living the Good Life
Recently bought this car and we love it! I can't rate the repairs or servicing because we haven't needed any yet. Car is everything we wanted. Great on gas, super comfortable, very stylish indeed! We looked at Everything available. Took us over 6 months, but it was well worth the wait. And it's so easy to get in and out of! Room for everything we might want to bring...and more! It checks all of our boxes!! We feel very confident that we made the right choice. We're totally pleased! By the way, this is our third Honda! Great cars and with an Awesome resale value! Time for a Road Trip!

Love my 2018 CRV
It’s a beautiful mid sized SUV. The ride is comfortable, gas mileage is excellent and it has a lot of room for people and their things. I also own a Pilot, but this one is my favorite for running around town. It’s smaller and easier to navigate on busy southern California streets and freeways. My 2011 CRV was great but this 2018 version is awesome.

So far, good. Hoping for great
The CRV drives great. So far, no problems. I've read many posts about an issue which may arise with 2017/18/19 CRVs. Specifically, a direct fuel injection defect which leads to oil dilution and possible long-term engine damage. I'm hoping to keep this car for 10+ years, but some indications are that the engine will not last that long due to too much wear with gasoline in the oil. This is an anxiety-inducing worry that Honda (both the dealer and corporate) haven't satisfactorily addressed. I've been told to a) let the car warm up [no clear indication what the parameters are for that], b) don't take short trips when it's cold [no definition has been provided in time/mileage, re: "short"], c) the oil dilution problem is only in severe cold weather climates and I shouldn't have a problem [no understanding from Honda corporate that I might actually drive my CRV to, say, Wisconsin...], d) that it's a problem related to CRV's built and sold in China, etc. Basically, it's full-on denial of a problem that may exist with the 1.5 turbo Earth Dreams engine. In the past, I've been committed to Toyota and, honestly, Toyota corporate was amazing to work with regarding fixes, call-backs, and re-calls. Honda? Not so much. That all said, it's a really nice vehicle. Research the long-term tests from auto magazines and consumer-first websites and you'll find the CRV holds up and delivers the best all around small SUV package. I've got a few quibbles: The gas tank is way too small. Range for a vehicle should be better than 375 miles; I'm not a fan of the all-digital dash; If you are going to have an all digital dash, it should have a better compass interface (see the one in the Ford Escape, Honda!) and more variety. It looks flashy at first, but it's really kind of... meh. It drives super nice. The steering and driving experience is something so good and well designed that you don't even realize how good it is. It's weird, but I really appreciate the way the CRV brakes feel. The "infotainment" system is OK, could be more intuitive and less dependent on the touch screen tablet. The "infortainment" system is a bit of a learning curve and seems prone to be glitchy. Not completely unfunctional, just a little annoying every so often. The latch to open the gas tank hatch is in an odd place - difficult to reach, really, unless you're stepping out of the CRV. I've read complaints about the heater - but our CRV heats up enough to make you plenty warm. The seat belt buckle on the driver's seat is inexplicable oversized and can create discomfort for some drivers. We didn't buy the CRV to fall in love with a car; we bought it to have safe (safety features are AMAZING in the CRV is you get past the base model - and all trims get very, very, very good crash ratings for safety), reliable, comfortable transportation. So far, good. Hoping for great, and 10+ years of (alleged) Honda quality and reliability. PS: Getting 28mpg in the real world without using the "ECO" mode, so that's been good. UPDATE (July, 2019): Zero problems. The minor quibbles above still apply, but overall the CRV has been super. The average mileage has actually increased to 30.8 mpg in regular daily driving. One last thing: The "Maintenance Minder" feature is programmed to have the oil changed every 7,500 miles. I talked with my mechanic about this and was told, "Nope, every 3500 to 5000 miles if you want to keep it long-term." Also, apparently I should anticipate a part going bad that will drain the battery while the car isn't running. "It'll go bad, it's just a matter of time. We keep that part on hand. It's less than $100." I don't recall which part that is, but I guess I have that to look forward to. Honestly, great vehicle so far. UPDATE (January 2020): No problems at all. Have checked the oil every 3k miles and nothing to report. After a year of driving, no surprises or worries. UPDATE (July 2020): Trucking along. No problems at all. The factory tires are getting a little thin at about 20k miles. Other than that, the CR-V is A-OK. The capability of transforming from easy daily driver to weekend furniture hauler to over the road vacation mobile is fantastic. Plus, averaging 29.6 mpg. UPDATE: (January 2020) The factory tires lasted not quite two years. I don't drive hard, they were just soft tires that only lasted about 20k. No other problems or complaints. The CR-V continues to be utilitarian and trouble free. I did notice that there are a lot of them on the parking lots in the same color (silver and gray must be the color of choice) so I put a sticker on the back window to more easily identify mine. If you're looking for something that will "stand out" or be original, well... the CR-V is about as ubiquitous and anonymous as it gets. UPDATE: You'll need a new battery every 3 years. Warning signs of battery going bad are not to be ignored. Also, a replacement windshield is about $800 (know from experience). Overall, still truckin'

Exceptional vehicle for any individual
The vehicle is exceptional at an excellent price point. Please make sure you get a reliable dealership for purchase. Edmonds provides a great service. They require dealer to to provide you vehicle sale price. Any dealer that just direct you to call them without a bottom line selling price must not get your business. Go to another dealership.

Love the car. Visibility great. Love the rear windshield wipers, the Apple pay, Bluetooth and many other features this car is equipped with. Easy to drive. I cannot give an answer for everything because I have had the car for about one week and don't feel like that is enough time to evaluate the reliability or the value yet. I checked the reliability stars by mistake so there should be no stars under that category.

Why fix it if it ain't broke
I have a 2009 crv, and I love it. Why does Honda change the crv every 5 yrs?? ( it seems) I've driven the 2018 crv while mine was in the shop.... the more I drove it, the more I hated it!!! Sure, it's new, of course it handles great, is comfy, quiet, etc.... but it's changed so much, when I need a new car, I'll look at subaru! The rear seat headrests obstruct my view out the rear window, the front fenders hinder my view of the road, I absolutely despise the back up camera, I know how to use my mirrors, I don't need a camera, and I find that screen terribly distracting. What happened to getting what you want??? The cargo area was fine, and they jacked that up too!!! I love my car and wish Honda would've left it alone.

First 40,000 miles went well
If you have been driving an older car (mine was a 2011) be ready for a shock with all the new technology. Love the new Cruise Control and a whole lot of the other features. I'm still learning to just leave the key control unit in my pocket and just punch buttons to run the car. With 2 years experience I have mastered most of the eectronic signals and stuff. Vehicle has performed the way it should and I have had no problems (other than flat tires). Love the backup diagram display and still enjoy the cruise control. Do not like the lane assist and leave it turned off.

Best Mom Car Ever
With a growing family comes the need for a bigger car and my sedan was just not cutting it anymore. The CRV is very roomy for even the bulkiest of car seats with plenty of cargo for a stroller and groceries. I love the apple car play feature, love the turbo engine drives really nicely, makes the car feel very powerful on the highway. Husbands favorite feature is the mirror tucked in the sunglass compartment to check on backseat passengers, great for checking on kids without turning your head away from the road. Love my mom car!

Mikey’s 3rd CRV
Love these cars so much this is my 3rd CRV. My past 2 have been EX-L so I thought I would step up this time to the Touring. A couple of things worth stating are: the front seat don’t have much cushion (My 1st CRV (2010) had the best seats). The stero even though its suppose to be premium in the touring could be a lot better. I would also like a hitch to come with this top of the line model. Finally the biggest complaint is the small size of the fuel tank. This 2018 only has a 14 gal tank. On my 2nd CRV it had a 15.4 gal and I thought that was small. Now with my 2018 it seems like i am stopping for gas everyday. Why would Honda do this?

Why is there no 3.5mm input for CD players or mp3?
I bought a new Honda CRV 2018 a couple of years ago. I want to explain a couple of things to help future customers avoid what I’ve gone through with it. So… there’s no CD player. Now, I understand technology well enough, and I get that CD players are becoming less and less useful these days. That said, I believe that since so many people still do use them, any salesman should tell you before you buy a new vehicle that there isn’t one there. It’s not something everyone thinks to check. I hadn’t bought a vehicle in over 10 years, and I didn’t think to look for this on the test drive. But let’s move on from that… without a CD player, how are we expected to listen to music? Well, Honda certainly has an idea… you can simply pay Sirius XM $10 or more a month ($120/yr) and hear the styles of music you want, although not the exact songs you want. They encourage this by giving you 3 free months of Sirius when you buy the car. But I don’t really want to spend that much money on stations that don’t even play the exact songs I want to hear, and plus I already own most of the songs I want to listen to, and I like to listen to full albums the way they were created to be heard, not jump from album to album. Another option is to listen to music using your cell data… this is lower audio quality, plus it uses up your cell data (for those of us who don’t have unlimited plans). So I didn’t really like that option. In most cases, that also leads to listening to various songs rather than specific songs as well. But here’s what really, really gets me. Honda didn’t include a 3.5mm jack. That might have cost… I don’t know, $5 to put in there? Maybe $10? And that would allow anyone to physically hook up whatever they wanted to, such as a CD player, and mp3 player, or literally any kind of audio source that they chose. These 3.5mm inputs were standard on cars for many years. And they are still obviously extremely useful, especially considering the benefit-to-cost ratio. The huge benefits to customers for spending maybe $10 adding a little audio jack to a car would surely be worth it for a company that cares about its customers. So why would Honda remove this? I can only think of one reason… they have a relationship with Sirius, and they benefit financially every time someone pays Sirius through a Honda account. Someone please correct me if you can think of any other reason that the 3.5mm input is not included on this vehicle. So to me, this is just one more example of corporations caring about dollars far more than they care about customers. A quick Google search will show you how much frustration this issue has caused customers, and I would say it has caused me huge amounts of frustration as well. Including a 3.5mm input would have solved this problem for countless people. The fact that they removed it makes me feel that they care about me for one reason: my pocketbook. And spending $30,000 isn’t enough. They want to keep taking money from me as much as possible. I did come back and ask my salesman about this issue. He said, “Oh, it’s no problem. You just put all your songs on your phone and tell your phone which songs to play.” Sounds easy, right? Again, I work with technology pretty extensively in my field, so I tried this, and found it very, very frustrating. First of all, Google doesn’t find the song half the time you ask for it. For another thing, apparently Hondas have some limitation so that they don’t play files that are higher quality than 192kbps. Or something like that, I don’t even remember now. The point is, I tried it, and it wouldn’t play half of my library because of this limitation. So I might be able to hear songs from one album I loaded onto my phone, but not another album. So… yeah, I guess I could go in and reformat my entire mp3 library. Or I could pay for a service I don’t want like Sirius and still not hear the songs I want to hear. Or I could use my cellular data, which is limited, and end up paying my cell company more. OR Honda could have spent $10 to include a 3.5mm audio input and made me and countless other customers happy. But they didn’t. Which makes me wonder how many other things they approach from that mentality. Frankly, the listening experience in every previous vehicle has been far superior to this one. Remember when there was that other knob on the right so that you could adjust bass, treble, and put the music in the front or back to your taste? Yeah, that’s gone too. You have to physically touch through several menus to find this every single time. And the touch screen isn’t very sensitive. They just took that knob off. I have owned Hondas since 2000, but this may be my last one.
Does plenty more than I can figure out on my own
I still haven't learned all that this car does. I need to review the manual.

Blind spot information system problems
I bought 2018 Honda CR-V EXL AWD in middle of October and in December 20th when turned on the engine the dash board suddenly pops out a message of “Blind spot information systems problems “ . I was hoping the msg goes away after miles drive but it didn’t. Even I restarted the engine but the same msg kept on dashboard without any changes.
Glad I did not say no
Love this Suv. Sporty youthful for an Ole fart. Drives like a sports car rides and makes you feel good about driving. Enjoy going gas mileage and get up and go superb. Was concerned about the motor change the turbo. Not. Good deal great ride. Don't regret purchase

Disappointing
Love this car when it is running, but I am getting to know the service dept. people too well. Multiple issues with the displays operating erratically. A 6 hour recall to avoid engine oil being contaminated with gasoline. A roadside service call when it would not start for some unexplained reason. I must now bring it in again to have them try to figure out why it would not start. One of the most unreliable cars I have ever owned in over 60 years of driving. i do not recommend this car. Best decision I made was leasing it so i can give it back to Honda at the end of my lease. Nearing the end of my lease. Still feel the same. Dealer does not help with unneeded recommended maintenance items.
Waited so long
This is a great size and handling SUV with some wonderful safety features. We have only had it a few months and haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, but have done both city and highway driving. The only thing it is lacking is a front camera to help with pulling into a parking space (and would also help pulling into my garage). It is hard sometimes to judge how close you are to the concrete barriers and if you are within the lines. We didn't realize that it didn't have that when we bought the car although I don't think it would have made a difference in our decision to buy it. Also, I wish that the blind side warning light on the mirrors was a little larger. Overall, we feel it was a good buy, and we are enjoying it.

All Around Value
This is an impressive all around car :attractive, lots of space, comfortable. Very good gas mileage. Special features like auto dimming lights are very helpful. I must admit that after driving an Accord for many years that it has taken me awhile to adjust to the more vanlike/trucklike feel of the SUV. Thinking, however, of all the other options out there, I can’t think of a better choice. Update: My views have not changed. This is an outstanding car.

After getting the heater for not warming up cured by the dealer flushing the cooling system it now works beautifully. The air conditioning compressor failed the dealer replaced it working great. Great package deal for a great price
I still cannot believe how much is packed into the EX alone on CRV compared to the other trims and models of Honda, not to mention competitors. The Honda Sense system really is a must which is basic on CRV EX. NOTE: Price includes Appearance warranty for 5 years for both external and internal as well as tire coverage.

Great car for everyone
CRV is definitely a pratical choice whether you are a student, adult, or a family person. It is great to drive in city and highway. The materials that were used on the interior is very good for its price. It is easy to drive, not so hard to maneuver around tight spaces. The cargo space is huge, but it is not meant for hauling big stuff like furnitures (maybe some detachable IKEA products will fit. Dunno, I haven’t tried it yet), The rear seat leg room and head room is surprisingly huge. Fuel economy is a bit on a down side, (maybe because I came from the last generation Civic, and still transitioning from a compact car to a Crossover/ Small SUV) and the CVT is kind of annoying due to it’s rubber band feeling where it feels like, the transmission is holding down the car whenever I am accelerating. Overall, the car’s been treating me nice, I’ve owned it for a month now, and I am happy with the car because I got all the safety features that the luxury brands offer.

Infotainment system sucks
Bought the touring model includes pretty much everything, really wanted the led headlights, far superior to others. The leather is nice, most controls are excellent. The infotainment is not as good as on my Toyota for both the satilite radio and the navigation system but I’m dealing with them. Overall satisfied with the vehical.Kept it 2 years and traded it in for the Hyundai Palisade

Great SUV
The 2018 CR-V is not the car of the year for nothing. You can see that a lot of thought went into most of the design elements of the car. The gas mileage is great considering the pickup. No problems entering the highway. Lots of storage (though we'd have like to see a shallow tray under the center armrest instead of a cavernous space). So far, no real complaints with anything.

Great to drive. handles great. comfy. sporty. quite. roomy. Great gas mileage. We had an issue with the dash board goin crazy twice. All kinds of bells and whistles goin off. It never came back. I think it was just a computer glitch. Update 2022. We still love it. The dash problem was a bad battery. We replaced it and the problem went away. I'd buy another for sure. Update 2023: 75,000miles and still love it. All is good

After two months and four snow/ice storms
This is a very good vehicle. Safety and overall functionality are excellent. There is a learning curve to the electronics and safety feature, but it was reasonably intuitive. We have logged about 2700 miles including several major storms, each with multiple traffic accidents occurring all around us as well as quite a bit of high speed rush hour traffic. The car did very well through it all so far. Also, the purchasing process, using Edmunds was very helpful.

Great SUV
My car is an EXL AWD. I have never got less than 30 mpg which is amazing for a 3600 pound AWD SUV. I have 2300 miles on my car now and it has averaged 30.6 mpg since I drove it off of the dealers lot.The ride is taught and handling is like it is on rails. The steering wheel is thick in your hands and the leather on it feels rich. The interior fit and finish are perfect and the look and feel of the interior is above anything else in this price class. If you're looking for an SUV in this size and class you owe it to yourself to test drive a CRV. Now that I have owned my CRV for 8 months I have a better feel for it. To start with the gas mileage has been amazing. I now have over 10K on the car and I have averaged 32.3 mpg since I left the dealership, I have had a low of 28.6 and a high of 41.8 mpg. That is amazing for a AWD 3600 lb. car that runs this well. I went on vacation to the Smokey Mountains this year and the total trip was a little over 2500 miles and the car preformed flawlessly. Considering all the cars in this 5 passenger SUV market I definitely made the right choice. Considering the room, look, mpg's and performance I am more than happy and I definitely made the right choice! Now that I have a little over 17K on my car it still impresses me. The MPG, ride, handling, comfort and the looks of the car are amazing. MPG since I left the dealer lot is still 32.3 mpg in combined driving. I live in the mountains of Pa. There is no flat land where I live which makes the mpg that much more impressive. I would by this car again in a heart beat!

Love it even though I still barely know it
After exhaustive research on crossovers, numerous spreadsheets, etc, I had narrowed my choice down to the Honda CRV EX, the Toyota RAV4 XLE, and the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. I ended up with the Honda and after approx 1000 miles, I have no regrets. This is a very practical car, but also quite fun one as long as I take it out of ECON mode. The turbo engine has some serious kick to merge into traffic, and then once I have merged, I put it into ECON mode. After numerous trips from Denver into the mountains for skiing, I am still averaging over 31mpg. I am still learning all the features of the amazing entertainment system. We are really looking forward to our first road trip with mountain bikes in it! The RAV4 just felt simple and primitive inside and the big 19" wheels on the Hyundai made it ride way too rough for my comfort. An update after about 8000 miles. Awesome. We took a big road trip with heaps of camping gear, golf clubs, mountain bikes (on a Thule rack) and it was very comfortable. The gas mileage dropped a bit since we had a rooftop cargo box, but the car drove very well. No regrets at all. My only nitpick is I wish the radio had a radial tuning knob. It would be easier than trying to punch the arrow buttons on the touch screen. I realize this is obviously a first-world-problem.

Best CRV ever
Have owned 2018 for a year now, it replaced a 2011 CRV. Great vehicle, fantastic acceleration, comfortable interior. Overall gas mileage is close to 29. Fun around town but really appreciate the electronics on trips. Live in Montana so exposed to cold weather and no engine problems with the turbo. Handles everything from trips into the mountains and freeway traffic jams in Seattle with ease.
