To get the owner features found in my Cadillac SRX I had to buy the CR-V touring. Like the ability to open my garage, good bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone. The new right side rear viewing camera is very handy during changing lanes.

ONE WONDERFUL vehicle. drives like a pleasant dream. cruise resumes very gently and nicely, no gravity pull at all. Awesome graphic interface, turn up to full brightness and the display is sharp and clear and visible in any light. Simple graphics to operate. Back up camera has a lens in the passenger side so when you signal for right turn, you can see what's beside you in your blind spot. AWESOME. You can use that for parallel parking, too, to see how far from curb you are. WE LOVE THIS CAR. the wheels are GORGEOUS, too. The longer I own it, the more I love it.

Disappointed in our first Honda

We have owned our 2016 CR-V for about 8 mos. In that time the windshield has cracked, mechanics failed to fully secure the oil filter so we had oil stains on our driveway -- and this was the first oil change for the car! The vibration at idle is excessive; the main data screen is dim at cold startup; the driver's window will briefly engage without warning (when fully up it continues to engage up). Finally, the tan seats are ridiculous! Even a sweating water bottle leaves an indelible water stain! Likely my only Honda vehicle. Meanwhile, my F150 just runs like a clock! Update: Have owned the car for 2 years now. Have been having continuous problem with the low tire pressure indicator giving false low tire warnings after replacing one tire - a very stressful thing for the driver when this happens. Dealer shrugs shoulders, makes lame excuses about how the sensors are not wheel mounted and one tire effects all others, taller new tire, etc. A new TSB just came out so hopefully it works. I put expensive neoprene seat covers on the seats to avoid the water stains. I remain unimpressed. Update: sold the CR-V and bought a 2018 Mazda CX-9. Now I am impressed. Better appointments, much better looking than the ho-hum Honda. And the Mazda performance is far superior. Glad to get rid of the Honda and never again.

I considered a few other cars, 2015 Nissan Rouge, 2016 Honda Fit and Versa. They had one 2016 CR-V AWD SE in Pearl Blue Special Edition. Absolutely the best ride, controls, looks, comfort, back-up camera, 17 inch wheels, tinted windows, security features and only 24 miles on it. Love at first sight, fit like a glove, 1 and 1 makes 1. I am so proud of my new CR-V AWD SE that I bought at Lynnwood Honda (north of Seattle), the radio, heater, wipers fold down seats with my all season floor mats and cargo mat in the back. Just... I am in tears. I drove junk for 18 years, this will be my last car and I made the correct choice. The Back-up Camera alone is worth the price. It has power when I need to pass and the Econ button saves me the gas. Some times when I get to where I am going... I just don't want to get out. And there is always the 'look back'. After 2 months I have not seen another Honda CR-V AWD SE in Pearl Blue Special Edition like mine. Happy happy happy. - Sincerely, Hutch It is now September 2018: Still the best ride, I give her a clean bath every two weeks. Drives great, smooth and great gas miles. No worries mate. Hutch One year later: The best, love my CR-V. I still do the 'look-back' when leaving it parked. March 2020- Still the best ride. Zero problems, always service it at my Honda dealer; oil, rotates tires etc.

Worst buy, never go for Honda

After days of research and internet browsings I bought the EX version of crv. From the day 1, I started having problem: whenever I drove downhill, it makes a loud sound until I descend down on the plain area. The outer plastic thing look so cheap and loose. In two years, the converter blew up and had to replace paying a hefty 2300 dollars. Now, there’s engine misfire. Before I fix it I will sell it and buy a RAV4 hybrid. I would never ever think of crv again. In fact, with all these issues, Iam so frustrated with crv that I don’t even wanna get in my car. [non-permissible content removed] Honda, you turned down all my expectations and my dream of driving a problem free car.
