dissapointed, don't trust honda
car is disappointing. the rpm is to low when stopped at lite with car in gear, vibrating a lot. also while excellerating between 1000-2000 rpm the car vibrates and moans. it seems like it should be downshifting but is not. it is not there just riding with the cruise on.i test drove 2 different 2015 crv's that were fwd and they were fine. mine is a awd. still dissapointed. there has been several fixes but the car is only slightly better but i lost 5mp. the lawsuit is still going on. don't buy one.

Worst headlights of all!
We bought our 2015 Honda CRV Ex-l three weeks ago. The headlights are too focused in the front. When making a 90 degree turn, you don't see anything till you turned. It is rather dangerous driving at night. This is fifth Honda we bought, and second CRV we have. We took the CRV back to the dealer, they told us they can only adjust the lights up and down, not left or right. We called Honad, they said it is not defective, so even it is safety issue, they will not do anything for us. If you will drive at night in areas without street lights, you should test drive it under similar condition to see if you think it is safe. Our older CRV has no such problem at all. We are very disappointed at 2015 CRV.

POS, uses too much oil, two engines
Bought brand-new right off the truck, had all service done at dealer per manufacturer guidelines, car never got estimated fuel mileage, used oil, and always pull to the right. Had at dealers multiple times to try and fix these issues, had multiple alignments, two engines, much money spent. finally got tired of it after second engine and still using oil over 2 quarts between oil changes, traded it in and switched brands never again Honda! Really got screwed for buying the top of the line Honda CRV, touring AWD

Electrical issues
Honda uses a cheap battery that easily loses its charge. Bought a new battery. Door locks started all flipping on and off driving down the road for no reason. Six months after new battery car the car will periodically need a jump to start. After driving for 45 minutes it needs another jump. Then it may or may not start before needing another jump. Based on what I have read about others experience combined with my own I’d say the 2015 CRV is pretty junky.

2015 CRV EX - L:Less Standard Features but Works
After reviewing Forester and Rogue, I picked up CRV due to space available. I still think Honda has to a catch up on interior and features offered for the price. It is point A to B car not for ones who like performance or feature rich. I am only getting 20 mpg( vs stated 27 mpg) mixed driving ( still around 500 miles). Hope this gets better
Honda Nation not holding up Warranty
My last 2 cars were a Toyota Tercel and a Toyota Camry- I love Elmore Toyota in Westmister- So, I decided I wanted an SUV and bought the Honda CRV- I love the car; however, after only having it for a little over a year, I am having problems---The windshield washer fluid depletes or stops working after a week of filling- They would not return my calls and I had to resort to writing a letter- Then they responded--I dropped it off and they are telling me there is no leak- Which I tested myself and already knew this- So, I asked if the reservoir was still filled with fluid- The Manager said he didn't know and I said well, if it isn't a leak, then maybe something is clogging it- he said they do not know so, come and pick up my car and whenever I come in, they will re-test it--Are you kidding me- They are returning my car to me without it being fixed and it is under warranty-they also had to order a motor for the apparatus that sets the door locks as this is now broke---I have never had problems with my Toyotas or experienced such bad customer service as with Honda Nation in Costa Mesa--The manager even said maybe I use the washer fluid too often- Really??? Are you kidding me- I don't know what to do so, maybe I will call BBB or Consumer Affairs-I am so disappointed because I love the car but, if things are breaking after only one year, what does the future hold- I do not trust them and will be getting a different car or a different dealer!!!

Last Car I Will Ever Buy, Bought 2015 CR-V EX AWD
Having retired and living in San Francisco (meaning I don't drive much) I decided to buy a compact SUV that I intend to be my last car (because I no longer update my car every few years). Bottom Line: In the compact SUV market there's two brand models that compete annually to be king of the mountain: Toyota Rav4, and Honda CR-V. There are rabid fans and detractors of either, but really when you come down to it you can't go wrong with owning either the Toyota or Honda.

CVT vibration problem with most cars!
I love my CRV and don't blame Honda. For who has a vibration issue here's why it's your CVT transmission causing the problem, most not all cars have this vibration issue it's just the way the CVT is and will always be. Continuously variable automatic transmissions (CVTs)often considered the uninspiring alternativeskeep the engine in its sweet spot for acceleration (or fuel-efficiency) but often to the detriment of noise and vibrations, leading to complaints of a disconnected, 'motorboating' feeling when acceleratingin which the note of the engine isn't connected to a sensation of speed. At their worst, CVT transmissions can feel sluggish, or as if something is uncertain or slipping.
Great little ride!
What a great SUV.....handles well, good fuel economy, easy to enter and exit, turning radius is amazing, roomy and great styling. Love the ease of getting in and out of this car. Honda has also done a lot to quiet the road noise since I bought my 2008 Accord. Driving this vehicle is a dream.....no blind spots and the camera for backup and right turns is outstanding. The passenger space is wonderful.....my grandkids love the extra space for their backpacks. Trunk/cargo is wonderful and the auto feature to put the seats down works great. My only issue is working the entertainment system.....I'm pretty computer literate but it takes a while to get this system right and the manual is a little short on explanation. I would recommend to anyone to get your price through the internet first and then go in and see if you can get any extras.

Our First Honda - Like it - Don't Love it
We recently replaced my wife's VW Passat 4 Motion with a 2015 Honda CRV Touring and we've driven it 3000 miles so far. We have not experienced any of the vibration other reviewers have noted. In fact I'd describe driving it as "smooth and effortless". My wife sums it up by repeating frequently how easy this vehicle drives. However, I have to believe the ride would be smoother with the smaller rims of lower trim levels. We felt sort of "trapped" into going with the touring because there were features like the power lift gate and some of the automated safety features were only available on the top trim level. The 18" rims really set it apart from older CRV's though. It's a trade off. Update 2-4-17: We've now driven this car 25,000 miles. Driving this car has been fine, but we do have some beefs. The touchscreen is infuriating. Slow to boot up and not user intuitive. You basically have to stop driving to tune the radio, especially when using Sirius XM. We DO miss full-time AWD versus the on-demand AWD in the CR-V. The engine vibration while stopped at a stop light (in gear) is a little annoying.

Vibration Issue with 2015 Honda CR-V EX [SOLVED]
I have made five trips to the Honda dealer over a vibration issue I had when driving/coasting at 70 to 75 MPH. My Honda dealer finally did a Road Force Balance on the tires and this procedure showed one of my Continental tires had a flaw where the wheel could not be Road Force Balanced. They replaced the tire and did the Road Force Balance. It appears this has resolved my problem. If you are having similar vibration issues, insist they do a Road Force Balance on all wheels. Dealers don't like to do this because it takes more time. This is my first and last Honda purchase. I have bought Toyota's since 1993 and regret not staying with them.

4.5 Stars of Joy!
Driving Experience: It has given us the best experience we have ever had with a family car, especially on road trips. Above the Class: Before buying, we looked at other cars in that class; especially the Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester. with the CRV, it feels like we are in a car above that class. MPG: We have been getting high 20s with mixed driving and low to mid 30s highway MPG on road trips. Handling (AWD): It has been smooth and secure with plenty of power in all situations, for an SUV. CVT: It runs and transitions smoothly in all traffic conditions. Vibration: Although we do feel a slight vibration, we have not experienced the disturbing level of vibration reported by some owners. UPDATE: April, 2017: We are still very happy with our 2015 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD. It is comfortable on long road trips. We have been getting mid-to-high-30s highway MPG on level road trips in good weather when using the Econ mode. UPDATE: October 2017: The dealership installed new motor mounts and did something to a chip. Now it runs even smoother. There was no charge for that, as it was part of some kind of campaign that was not a recall. UPDATE: April 2018: The car is holding up very nicely. UPDATE: October 2018: 28,0000 miles. We have had no problems. We like it so much, that we considered replacing our other car with a CR-V., but we we more likely consider the new Toyota RAV4, (not all eggs in one basket). UPDATE: April 2019: 35,000 miles. Still no problems after driving it, albeit low miles, for about 3 and a half years. One caveat: if you get/have leather seats (perforated) take special care to keep the areas around the seat bottom edges conditioned; they tend to get dry and seem like they would crack if left unattended. We still wish it had a knob for the radio; what were they thinking? I’m human, not R2D2!

2015 CR-V Touring
Navigation is not voice activated and hard to use as compared to my 2004 EX-L Accord. Electronics could be be more user friendly for an engineer. Car is a little noisy but you get used to it after some time. This is my second Honda CR-V.

Excellent car.
Great car; comfortable, not one problem of any sort. It has plenty of room and everything on it works flawlessly. There is a small vibration when it idles for a while with all the accessories turned off. But it's mild. I probably wouldn't have noticed it except for all the carrying-on. If I turn up the fan on the ac just a tad or use the headlights or anything that nudges the rpm up a bit, it goes away. But why bother? It's a non-issue. What is an issue is that this is a great car that runs perfectly, never gives a problem and is a pleasure to drive, both in the city and on the highway. My gas mileage is consistently better than advertised, but then I don't slam it around, either. I consistently get around 30-32 mpg in city driving. I have zero complaints about my CR-V and plan to drive it until the wheels fall off. Then, I'll probably buy another one.

I Love My Car
Hello all. I only bothered to register on this site to share the wonderful experience were having with our less than a week old white 2015 Honda CRV EX-L. This is our second CRV and third Honda. I read all of the reviews warning of vibration, so I was on heightened alert during our test drive. Our vehicle was warmed up and we took it for a good test drive. No problems. Not at stoplights, the highway, nor around town. Can I feel the engine running? Yes. Is it at all different from my previous Honda? No. I'm not discounting any of you that have problems. All I am saying is test drive the one you're going to purchase. Go for a long drive and see for yourself. Ours is great!
Whats not to like
I had a 2010 Honda CRV EX .....After reading about the Motor Trend SUV for 2015 I did some reserch.....I stopped by a Honda dealer to see the new 2015 CRV...I was never going to part with the 2010 EX .......3 hours later I'm driving home with the 2015 model not quite sure what just happened......The 2015 is a New Car compared to the 2010.....The features were worth the purchase.....Rear view camera , lane watch right side mirror eliminating the blind spot ,CVT tranny smooth better pickup , 7 inch LCD panel w/ 3 inch upper dash display....Electronic steering , direct fuel injection , heated seats , power driver seat 6 modes on the 7 inch panel...2 - 12 volt power ports , 1 usb and 1 hdmi port

Otherwise,Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?
My new Honda CR-V EX-L is just super to drive in so many ways, and the sound system is by a mile the best I have ever experienced. But like so many other reviews that I have read on line, I am baffled by the unbearable headrests in the front seats. I have read the nonsense about being safer for one's neck in the event of an accident, and if you have progressed beyond the 6th grade you are aware that is simply silly. If one tilts the seat back far enough that the contact point of the headrest is vertical, your seat is sloped backwards so much that you feel like a 16-year-old trying to look cool in his dad's car. Further, that amounts to slouching in your seat (just like your teacher Mrs. Wilcox told you to stop doing in 6th grade). You swap neck discomfort for back/lumbar discomfort. So now I have to search aftermarket outlets for decent headrest replacements. Word to Honda- why don't you offer two alternatives to your new car customers- your brilliant improved design, and a standard keep-your-spine-and-neck-comfortably-straight design.

Did someone pay someone to report bad vibrations?
I bought, but did not take possession of a CRV while waiting for biz. issues to settle. I read many reports of road or car vibrations, I test drove "Mine" again and found very smooth drive in all situations. My current trade in is a 2013 Beemer, past cars have been Porsche 911 s and Audi's and other fine cars. I have not been used to a rough ride. This Honda is my first Honda and while I do not "own" it yet, I feel the need to ask, Did someone pay someone to bad vibe this car? Or am I just lucky?.... I have felt the slightest vibration when at a stop light, kind of like you can feel that the engine is running vs not running. So, if as a driver I am not supposed to know the engine is running without looking at the RPM gauge, then ok sometimes I am aware the engine is running . Often the car is so smooth that I need to see the RPM gauge to see if I have already turned off the engine when parking. So I consider this to be an extremely smooth car. AWD and I still get over 30 MPG on the highway. So, I stand by my first opinion, a great car, for a 4 cyl., Stereo sucks, but great in snow. Now a yr. later I still like the car. The only limitation is it's an AWD and the Nerf bars sold in aftermarket wont fit easily because of the "skin" under the car hides the chassi and the ORW 4x4 shop wont even work on Hondas. So, I could go to dealer and get the nerf bar or the factory step rail that Honda makes, but the price is more than twice. I have the original tires on the car still and still have not worn to the wear mark to require changing the tires. For me that is a new thing, the car is a very well designed car. The wobble when stopped is still present and does bother me, but hey, it has not caused any trouble. I do notice the transmission is a bit weak in reverse when cold, but I have a steep driveway. The stereo sucks, but I did not get that up grade.

Honda CRV (CVT) transmission problems
So I am not the only one complaining to Honda about their new CRV transmission!!! Just bought a new "Touring" model - not able to test drive before as none available but owned CRV before. On way home after picking up new car identified "Steady State" speed vibration and drumming in the car. happens at steady state speed between 20 to 40 MPH. Took it back to dealership - Service Tech came out with me for test drive and confirmed problem and suggested we take another newer '15 CRV out for a run - the vibration and drumming sound in the Cabin was even worse than mine!! Contacted Honda Canada to be told my car was performing as designed - so fault was "Designed" into car by Honda?
Nice ride, great MPG, and no engine vibration :)
I have not experienced the vibration issue that others have mentioned after owning this car for 2 months. I looked at the all of competitors in this class, but Honda was the best overall value. I preferred the CRV interior over the others...the others seemed cheap (imo). I do mixed driving, but mostly highway, and I'm getting 32 mpg currently. I couldn't be happier. The only thing I would change are the EX wheels (not the most attractive). Other than that, this is a great car!

Still solid
Update: 100,000 miles, still working great, no problems. Still great gas mileage. Cvt works perfectly. Have only changed oil, brake fluid, cvt fluid, lots of tires (live in mountains use winter tires year round), lots of wiper blades, wiper fluid. Put in bigger battery after only two years, which has been great since. Got the awd ex model. Hwy mileage has been as high as 37 on 300 mile trip. Smooth, Quiet. I am 6'3, and have plenty of room even in back seats. The cvt works perfectly. It doesnt use fake shift points. Probably the best cvt available. Much quicker than I expected. Also climbs well, as we live in a high altitude mountain town. Great traction in ice and snow, with Michelin X-ice tires. Could use an inch or two more ground clearance for the big snow days (we got over 50 feet of snow two of the years owning this car). Car isn't very manly, but performs better than the numbers would imply, gets better gas mileage than EPA estimates, has lots of width inside, handles better than an SUV should, and carries my tools around real well.

2015 Honda CRV
In October 2014, we traded our 2013 CRV EX-L AWD for a 2015 (same model). What a mistake. The CVT is awful. It shifts constantly (up hill, down hill, flat terrain), its loud (can hear it when the radio is on), and it doesn't have any get up and go unless you put the pedal to the metal. The gas pedal is also difficult to regulate due to the constant shifting of the transmission. Before buying a 2015, PLEASE test drive for several miles and take it up some hills. Ask the sales person to remain quiet. Listen to and feel the engine. I'd only recommend this car for long commutes/thruway/freeway driving, not for shorter commutes.
2015 CR-V Vibration/Shudder Issues
This is our family's 6th Honda. I am quite sure that if Honda does not come up with a fix for this terrible vibration issue it will be our last ! All, I repeat all the new "So called SUVs of the year" have this problem. At idle around 500 to 600 rpms. Then again at 1100 rpms. And again at 2200 rpms ! The rpm range that you use to run around town. On the highway it seems to do well. Please , when you test drive one make sure the vehicle is warmed up and take a service tech with you. Do not just drive around the block ! Go out for 20 minutes. Also , this wonderful new CVT makes a high pitched whining noise as you are descending a steep hill. We are very disappointed with this purchase.
Another Great Honda
We love our new CRV, We haven't experienced any vibrations at all with it. It has been absolutely perfect on long trips, and for my wife's daily commuter for work. Good of power, plenty for all occasions, off the line power is OK. Great in the wind, build quality is spectacular, no squeaks, or rattles. We're getting 31 mpg on the highway (Got 36 on our trip to San Diego). The transmission shifts smoothly, and the seats are really comfortable, especially on my bad back. It is not the prettiest of the small SUVs, but compared to the others we drove, it was the roomiest. Negatives? The back seats could be more comfortable for adults, and the Bluetooth hookup, especially on my Samsung S9 is a pain. Other than that, we really love this car.

My CRV
I was worried buying this car because it had some not great reviews. Most of the other SUV's had the same not great reviews so I took a chance. We have owned other Honda's and have been happy with them so thought this would be a good vehicle for us. I love this car. We have no vibration that is written about, although we only have just over 500 miles on the car now. My only complaints are the electronics on the vehicle are a little confusing and I am usually really good with electronics. Also, the car isn't as quiet as I would like but it's ok. Love the car though and am glad we purchased it.

CR-V 2015 drive shaft vibration
November 11 2014 bought a new all wheel drive CR-V and returned the following days. There was a drive shaft vibration. Dealer agreed to give a new SUV. Drive shaft vibration problem was there again. Went to the dealer for repair, part was replaced but problem continues. Dealer can't fix anymore since Honda does not have a solution. 3 Months and still no solution from Honda. Should I buy another CR-V or Honda again? THE ANSWER IS NO!!
Head rest at terrible angle.
This is a great car but terribly uncomfortable due to the forward tilt of the headrest. If you sit with good posture there is no way you can drive this car more than 60 miles. The headrest is angled forward and pushes constantly on the back of your head. I windup looking directly at my speedometer all of the time. All of the great technology is useless if you can't drive it. Most other car manufacturers allow about 2" between the back of your head and the headrest. My Subby is really old (2001) but really comfortable. "An update 9-2016) the headrest can be turned backwards but then there is too much space between the headrest and my head. The other solution is to recline the back of the seat so you're partially reclined but due to my fractured back that too is impossible. Best solution, trade it in and buy another Subaru.

Look at accessory photos before you purchase
I am slowly liking my new car more and more. I've owned the CRV for one month now had have driven approximately two thousand miles. I average 500 miles a week. I have no mechanical complaints. The new variable transmission is a little whiney and noticeable at times . But nothing to complain about. My former vehicle was a fully loaded 2012 Odyssey except navigation to a base model 2015 AWD CRV. The two vehicles are very different. I was trying to downsize, get better mpg, and AWD. My chief complaint is that the accessories I had put on the CRV were not the same size as the Odyssey. The raised roof rack is not the same as the raised roof rack on the Odyssey. The tow package with the 2" ball is not what I expected either. My kids say the back seats are uncomfortable . I am going to get memory foam back support pads for them. They also miss the XM radio and entertainment package. I did buy a portable XM radio receiver it was free with subscription . The rear view camera is much smaller. I must say I really enjoyed working with Phil Ha at Stevens Creek Honda in San Jose, Ca.. Phil got back to me within minutes every time I contacted(email, text, voicemail) him. Phil give me the best price for my CRV within a 500 mile radius . I had contacted 4 other dealerships and Phil still had the best price. I really enjoyed working with Phil Ha and edmunds. I would recommend working with Phil and edmunds.

Vibrates but much improved
We've had this car for over a month and I can relate to what people say about the vibration at low speeds and when stopped with engine running. I noticed the vibration when I test drove the car and didn't think much of it then and I still don't. It's worse when the car is in ECO mode. Turn ECO off and drive in Sport mode (higher RPM) and the vibration becomes minimal to non-existent. This CRV drives better than the 2014 model (More responsive in Sport mode, less lean when taking corners) and has better standard features. It's good value too. Averaging about 30 mpg in low traffic city (80%) and highway (20%) driving. Overall we are pleased with it and hope it's as reliable as my 2001 Accord
Perfect for us.
After going to a few auto-shows and sitting in dozens of SUVs and compact SUVs, we decided on the Touring FWD in White Orchid Pearl with beige interior as our family hauler. Main reasons: low floor, 90degree opening rear door. The power-train is very peppy and gets up to speed surprisingly quick. I never find the need to use sport and always have ECON mode on. Avg 26mpg on a light load, 22mpg with the whole family and peripherals. Curiously, I am not experiencing any vibration issues others mention.
Vibration-Free 2015 EXL/Nav
I've only put 200 miles on my Honda. So far, I am delighted with my purchase. Also, so far, I've not noted ANY vibration issues that MANY others have noted in their reviews. I find this to be a comfortable car to drive, both in short urban trips and hour long highway cruising. I like the way the power steering is very light for low speed operations, but it stiffens up at speed, making for a very stable cruising machine. So far, averaging 31 mpg with mostly highway driving at 65 mph. This is my first CVT car. So far, I see no difference in how it operates compared to a conventional automatic transmission. Feb 2017/48,000 miles update: I've owned everything from minivans to Mustangs. Overall, my CRV is the best overall vehicle I've ever owned. Stable, comfortable, versatile, reliable, economical (33-38 hwy mpg @65 mph). Engine vibration - under rare circumstances, I HAVE experienced the low engine rpm vibrations. It only occurs with a warm engine, stopped, in 'Drive' and under low engine rpm/loads. If the shudder occurs, I simply turn on some electrics or the the ac or just put the car in 'Neutral'. STILL delighted with my purchase.

Loving our CRV!
We have about 3100 miles on our new 2015 crv in pearl white. Getting about 27.5 MPG in city. Its so comfy and I love that heated seats are in the ex model and the back air vents are a real plus! we researched for a very long time and I wouldn't have any other suv in this class. WE have noticed the vibration, but it's only noticeable if there is nothing or little turned on (lights, a/c, heater etc )
Great SUV!
This 2015 Touring AWD is a joy to drive. Traded a 2014 EXL to add AWD and better electronics, and it feels great. Having read of the vibration and whines bothering others, I watched for them. Once there was a audible whine and at stops an almost imperceptible wheel vibration. With radio and AC fan on neither was noticeable. If a fix comes along, good and if not, I am still enjoying a great new CRV. It does everything I need and a little more.
worth the purchase
This car has a comfortable ride, and the gas mileage is great. It's built for convenience - there's a mirror that allows you to see in the back row, I can hook my IPHONE up to the car for hands off phone use, the floors are black - showing no scuffs, the air/heat circulates front to rear - there little noise from the outside, the windows are slightly tainted - minimizing glare, the cargo space is great, the clearance is good. The only complaint I have are the small windows in the rear corners. While there's a backup camera (love it), and mirror use, there's definately a blind spot.

2015 CRV
I love my new CRV. Roomy, comfortable and averaging 35.6 mpg on hey and 30 mpg in town. The vibration is noticeable but hey, it's a lower idle on a CVT for efficiency of the gas. I've own a 09 Toyota Corolla and a 2014 Nissan Sentra that both had CvT vibrations and shutters and stops. The options available in the EX is great, you can't beat the heated seats, sunroof, back up camera, lane watch. This car has enough power to pass and you will notice a smooth take off. I love this SUV and am planning some fun summer road trips! Update! 2/16/17 CRV was a total loss in April of 2016. I a rear ended at a stop light. The damage to the car was unbelievable. The entire frame of the car was bended, the rear and the frame beneath where the tire is stored was pushed into the rear seat. I had minimum injuries but the thought of a vehicle being made from thin metal that appeared to be aluminum freaked me out. Prior to my accident I had a complaint against Honda due to the vibration that worsen so bad at stops until it made me nauseated. It had been in the repair shop for updates and fixes x 5 within 4 months but nonthing seemed to help. The engine started stalling after the vibration when I preceded to take off.

2015 crv touring
you always have some things that could be better but Honda puts together a nice package and you get what you pay for in all models. sure their is some shuddering at low rpm usually around 700-1000 rpm but I'm sure Honda will come up with a fix. The ride is great and the comfort is nice. The engine is good but a few more horses would be nice. The CVT transmission performs well and the way it is set up you would never know it was CVT. Gas mileage is all it says its and the adaptive cruise control makes my wife more at ease when cruising down the highway. One thing you need to be aware of in a winter climate keep the windshield as clear as you can of snow and ice or you could confuse the radar and end up with a lot of unwanted lights on the dash and some safety features not working as they should. Overall my wife and I have owned Hondas for over 25 years and we both drive the CRV hers is 2012 Ex-L with nav. It is good to drive a reliable and comfortable vehicle and our dealer has been great for the past 15 years. You just can't go wrong with a Honda.

Voice Controls don't work and are a waste of money
Do not waste your money on the Voice Recognition system, it is worse than bad. It can't understand a word my wife or I say to it, even when doing exactly as the manual says and it couldn't recognize the commands of the Honda Technician or service advisor either. . Additionally the navigation system can't find a McDonalds, or gas station closer than 500 miles away. They should fire the entire staff who designed this system or license the Ford "Sync" system which works like a charm in my Lincoln. It's such a pain that we are considering selling it, as it gives us heartburn every time we get in the car. Manual entry before starting the trip is the only way we can get the navigation system to work. This year (2017) Paid for "Map Upgrade" which proved 2 things. 1) Upgrade had a 20 minute software upgrade, showing that Honda knows about the problem but is still not willing to admit it. Can't believe I had to pay to get new software they should have provided free. This shows that Honda is just thumbing it's nose at it's owners. 2) Even after software "voice recognition" was upgraded from TERRIBLE to only LOUSY. At least have the guts to admit your issues, because I can't trust Honda on any issue at this point. I am now using an independent garage to service it, despite the fact that I qualify for free oil changes after buying the maintenance upgrade from the dealer at purchase. 3) Another software upgrade, another total disappointment and Honda basically says if you don't like it get a different make. Well I already have a 2013 Lincoln that is light years ahead of even the newer model the introduced since ours.

boring
Uninspired and uninspiring reliable and basic transportation. Can't say much more. Car is greatly under-powered. afraid to get on freeway entry ramps. God awful gas mileage of 17-19 shockingly low given the small engine!!! exterior design is so much like many other small suvs. Sigh18

Great all around SUV
Honda reliability. 28-34 mpg consistently. AWD is great, coupled with the 2.4L and CVT transmission. Fantastic features throughout. Vibration “issue” way over exaggerated. Every vehicle I’ve owned has some vibration when stopped in drive. This is no different.
Just what I was looking for with in my budget
I’m very pleased with the car and Creat Nissan in McKinney TX

Trading it In!
After the engine blew in my Subaru in Sept '18, I was in a hurry to purchase a new (to me) vehicle. I've had good luck in the past buying off-lease vehicles, so I decided to do that and purchase a vehicle with an excellent reputation, the 2015 Honda CRV with only 18,000 miles on it. I was thrilled and thought I had hit the jackpot. Boy, was I ever wrong. I'm just going to cut to the chase and give you the good and the bad. THE GOOD: Reliability...in the 16 months I've had the CRV, I've only had to replace the battery and have new tires put on. Honda batteries are known for premature deaths, as that's what I was told by the AAA technician who replaced it for me. There have been a lot annoying quirks to the vehicle, but I am focusing strictly on repairs and maintenance here. Design.....It's a snazzy looking vehicle in my opinion. For a small SUV, the interior is very roomy with good headroom, shoulder room, and the back seat will fit 3 average sized adults. There is also this neat feature where you pull a switch and the rear seats fold down for you, at least they're supposed to. The seats are average when it comes to comfort and the control panel is designed adequately. There are cupholders everywhere. Features...The base model that I bought came decently equipped with features. It has a backup camera (which the picture went a little funny on), and most standard features you see in today's models. Performance...the one good thing about the performance I can mention is that this vehicle can go from zero to sixty very quickly. The all wheel drive performs nicely in the snow, and living in New England, that's a plus. THE BAD: Performance...this is where I should have done my research...this vehicle rattles and vibrates like there's no tomorrow. The vibration happens mainly when you are stopped and the car is idling and the windows are down. This is a problem that I keep reading about over and over again. Also, thumping is often a problem as well. And one final annoyance is that the directional signals are tempermental. The Drive....This has been my biggest gripe about the CRV. Since day 1, I would be on the interstate and it would feel like I was driving on grooved pavement. It felt like I was driving with tires low on air. When making a turn, it always felt like something was scraping against something else (mildly) and sometimes, just the drive felt like something was scraping against something else. It was annoying to say the least. Also, when backing out of the driveway or a space, it was not uncommon for the steering wheel to shake for a second when turning the wheel after putting it in drive. While the drive was really incident-free, it always felt like something was wrong. Design... my only gripe about the design is that the stereo sound is weak. Supposedly there are six speakers, but I have to turn the volume way up most of the time. Fuel Ecomony...what started as a plus, has ended as a minus. For most of the time I've driven this car, I'd say I got about 25 city, 30 highway, which isn't bad, but LATELY this car has THIRSTY! I have no idea what's going on, but I will let the dealership that I'm trading it into deal with it. BOTTOM LINE: If you are shopping for a used, reliable, smaller SUV, and all you care about is a decent sized vehicle that will get you from point A to point B with few then the 2015 Honda CRV is a safe bet. But if you are looking for something that is fun to drive and doesn't rattle and shake all the time, then I would recommend you keep looking. All I can recommend is that you do your research and see what others have said about any contenders. I have taken the initiative to trade in my CRV this week. I am purchasing a Civic instead because this time I read rave reviews about them and I'm interested in better fuel economy.

My 3rd but last CRV
First of all, I really do like my CRV. Handles great, roomy interior and cargo space yet small enough of an "SUV" to make parking easier on city streets. HOWEVER, if you are in the market for a 2015 CR-V, be wary of the vibration issue some of us new 2015 car owners experienced. 4 years later and two factory authorized "fixes", the vibration has lessened but not disappeared. Extremely frustrating customer service, as, since this was not a "recall", I was not even notified there was a fix, I discovered it online doing research. Sadly this is my last Honda vehicle. I'll take my chances elsewhere, as Honda showed it's true colors when issues arose.

You can't beat a Honda CRV
Very reliable and now with the right side camera even more safe then before. This is my fourth CRV and I will continue to buy this model. The resale is also very good. Don't trade because the dealer will never give you what it's worth. Sell to a private party.

The best SUV!!
I love my CRV TOURING. But the brakes sound like their dragging when the vehicle is cold. Every time I take it in for service I tell the dealership about them and they tell me their fine. I HOPE SO!! Makes me a little uncomfortable. The back up camera needs a beeper if something is in the way. But other than those 2 things all is great!! I depend on that Honda reliability. I drive 80 miles a day to work. I need it.

Still going strong
It’s the EXL. Push button start. 70k miles. Just had front brakes done (wife kills brakes). CVT fluid changed. Had to replace starter. Same as our 2014 Accord but lasted 3 years longer. On third battery. Second set of tires which is typical. Great for running around town. Back seat has a lot of leg room and lots of storage behind seats. So far do not regret purchase. Starter was apparently a defect in 2014/2015 models. The CRV is still doing great. Consistently 28 mpg in city 30+ on highway. No regrets whatsoever. Just crossed 91k mark. Brake pads replaced. CVT fluid replaced. Third set of tires.averaging 45k per set. Reliable vehicle. At 103k now. MPG seems slightly less but it could be we are just driving more city miles than before. Still a very good vehicle. No further issues.

Comfortable Ride!
I thought I would miss my other car, but the transition into a Honda CRV was easy. Great car, smooth ride, handles great on the road. Very comfortable as well. I feel good driving it because it is a good looking car with an edge. The only thing I'd improve is the radio. I would like a better sound system. Dolby sound would be nice.
