Nice Car
The car is very reliable;e so far although the struts needed replaced as the previous owner had speed bumps all over his apartment complex. Definitely not a race car, but still fun to drive and fun not to bring to the garage! (Very reliable)
good all around
i've had my car for 2 months now and have had no issues. lots of fun to drive, very good on gas. its not the fastest car on the road but is easy to pass cars on the highway. looks are excellent, audio is great.
Don't expect too much
This car is pretty much what I expected. I bought it for a to commute with since it has a good track record, and is fuel effecient. But it is hard to get excited about driving it. Take a close look at toyota corrola before buying the civic.
Great Reliability, But dont expect...
I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX coupe. Haven't had a problem with it, and i refill the gas tank every 380 to 420 miles combined city and highway. Although my car is stick, it isn't a great performer. It is quiet, and has nice interior materials which is what matters most to me.
sick sivic
I baught my civic as my first car. The thing now has a little ove 6000 miles on it. As you can tell i like to drive it. Its fun, has great breaks and an easy clutch. I have put many upgrades like intake, exhaust, wing, rims things of that nature. And the car looks so clean. I would advise of purchasing a new honda civic.
An excellent choice!
My Civic has been a great choice among cars so far. I am a working, college student driving an average of 20,000 to 25,000 miles a year. I average 29-32 miles per gallon every tank. Its fun to drive, but it could use more than 127 horsepower. It currently has 21000 miles on it; I hear it should last until 210,000 miles... we'll see.
love it
Great car, fun reliable, sporty(sort of)However I have minor 3 beefs with this car, 1. damn uncomfortable seats not great for long commutes. 2. arm rest sux 4 inches too short, fixed for 2003 3. sound system could be better
Little Red Honda
Wife and I drove it on a road tour from Atlanta to Montreal and Bar Harbor, MA. Comfortable for long runs, despite size. No problem whatever.
Great Car for the value
I've been a Ford owner for years.I decided to take a look at Honda Civics and I was very impressed. Quality and workmanship is outstanding. I've only has owned my Civic for a few weeks now but overall it is a great car. Being a small car the ride can be a bit more noticeable on the bumps. The price was right with no pressure to buy. Check them out!! My only complaint would be with the options which are very expensive with little negotiating.
Great car, but not what they used to be
I used to own a '97 Honda Civic DX coupe, which is the stripped down model for those of you who aren't too familiar with the line-up. I now own a '02 EX coupe which is their 'top of the line' model. I must say, there have been some drastic improvements in those 5 yrs, as well as some disappointments. My '97 DX was supposed to be getting only 106 hp while the '02 EX is supposed to be getting 127. Still, the DX felt much quicker. The '02 also has a lot of little creaks and rattles on the interior. The last complaint is gas mileage. Honda claims 32 city and 38 on the hwy. I do a mixture of both and am lucky if I get 30.
