This is my 4th Honda Accord. I have a major concern with the stability of the vehicle in speeds of 65 mpg. Not sure what to do and am investigating of a return of the vehicle.

I have newly leased a 2019 Honda Accord. I want to be sure to offer an important comment to those considering this sedan. The driver's seat in this car is very, very uncomfortable. It has made me regret purchasing (leasing) the car. The seat is quite low to begin with (as is the passenger's). The main issue is that the seat cushion and back lumbar support is terrible. The controls for moving the seat and lumbar positions are totally inadequate. They do not come close to providing the assistance with adjustment that they should. My previous two cars were Nissan Altimas and the difference between the comfort of the driver's seat is remarkable. When I test drove the 2019 Accord and Altima cars I felt the difference in the seats, but with all the items to consider in new car test drives in a short period of time it is hard to give every item its due attention. To be noted I have lumbar arthritis and may be more susceptible to back issues, but there surely are a lot of people with this problem. A second notable inadequacy in the car is the sound system. This is quite a poor quality speaker system despite its upgraded claims. It does not hold a candle to the Bose system in my 2016 Altima. I am not commenting on the mechanical parts of the car because I have not had it for very long and I am not a mechanic. Please be aware of these items if you consider this vehicle. UPDATE: I tossed in the Honda Accord towel and got a 2019 Nissan Altima Platinum. I am much happier. Great car. Much, much better seats and better sound system. Great ride. Amazing effortlessly and accurate steering. Looks sharp ( as does the Accord).Give it your good consideration.

We bought a brand new Honda Accord 2019(LX) on June 29, 2019. Not even a month later i.e. On Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 7:49 pm my Honda Accord stopped in the middle of the highway due to unknown reason. Behind us was a truck and we were at 70 mph highway, we were about to be hit either by the truck or by the car on the right lane. Thanks to the truck driver and the person driving that SUV who stopped in time. We merely escaped death like situation. Post that I called Honda Road Side Assistance and they asked me to move to a safe location and call them again. I tried to drive the car again and drove couple of miles where my car finally stopped moving and smoke started coming from the exhaust. Scared we quickly evacuated the car and moved to a safe location at 8:23 pm. Post that Cops came to ask why we stopped there, we explained them the situation. We were told to stop the engine and wait there till the towing car arrived. I had so much trust in Honda and we are so traumatized with this situation and I still can’t believe how this happened. This is a brand new car with total miles of 657 miles. I didn’t expect this from a brand-new car. We were lucky enough to escape death on the Highway. We were exhausted and terrified with this event. Yesterday Honda Service center company called and told that the the turbo charger failed internally, causing oil to go into the exhaust system. This caused contamination of the catalytic converter and damaged the oxygen sensors. I am not sure if I can or anyone can trust Honda ever again. If something would have happened to me or my family will Honda be responsible for this. Question is do you still trust Honda ?

Horrible road noise

I love the handling shape of the car and many other good things this car had to offer BUT it has a very loud tire road noise when you drive on the freeway on 75 or 80 .I went to Vegas in this car and I rather go in my 2010 Camry that has 105 k miles ,I am thinking to put it on swap a lease and go back to Camry.

For someone who has driven many cars, I do not feel comfortable driving this car over 60mph. I almost lost control on the freeway. I am not confident in the stability of this vehicle. I will be taking this vehicle to get checked by Honda. It feels great when driving in the city at lower speeds.
