Used 2013 Honda Accord Sedan Consumer Reviews
Best damn car EVER!!!
I bought this car new, and love every second of it. I have topped out @ 42MPG's on the hwy. and for a 6-cyl that is not hybrid. It took some getting used to since it is a new car. There have been a great many biased reviewers that have never even bought the car. I feel that it is better that someone who owns the car should say what issues I am having. I have no idea what these people are talking about! I have had the car for 3 months and have had none of the issues people are claiming, it has been perfect! Beautiful car, and get lots of compliments. Don't believe what others are saying, go test it out yourself, I warn you, you may end up driving it home!
EX-L 4cyl after 4 months 7500mi
Traded in my '06Accord after 138K. Mostly this is a solid car with good acceleration and comfort, especially the leather seats. I read the CVT was jerky, but after the test drive, decided it was not enough to bother me. After 7K, the jerkiness was worse esp when it was cold. Dealer said this was normal. But if you must drive slowly at first thru a residential area, be prepared, it can get on your nerves after a while. But once on the road and able to accelerate, it is very smooth. The only other thing I am disappointed about is the stereo system. After paying almost $30K for a car, you would expect a decent system. This is not one.
Love My Wife's Car
I did quite a bit of research before we bought my wife's Accord. After looking at Toyotas, Subarus and Buicks we had decided on a Honda. I was sure the four cylinder would be fine for our needs, but after reading owner reviews we weren't sure about the CVT. Honda "don't build no junk" but they have had transmission problems in the past so we decided on the V6 with the six speed transmission. What a great choice, this thing is smooth, responsive and fast. We've had the car on a couple of trips from Indiana to Wyoming and it has always been quiet, comfortable and great to travel in. The only negatives I have found with this car is the navigation system isn't as user friendly as I was used to and I see that Honda has changed that on the newer models. Also, the bluethooth just won't pair to my android phone. It works great for my wife's iPhone, though. Overall great car. Update: Sold the car in March of 2019 still no problems and still a great car, we just wanted an all wheel drive vehicle for the snow here in Indiana.

So Far, So Good
I have owned my 2013 Accord Sedan for 8 months now, and overall, I am very satisfied. The car handles very nicely, is very comfortable (I am 6'2"), looks great, accelerates nicely, is quiet, and came with lots of great standard features, like the bluetooth and backup camera. I have drive mostly in the city, and mileage is okay - around 24 mpg. However, highway mileage is great - around 38 mpg. I have experience the CVT stuttering mentioned by other reviewers on occasion. It is not that bad so, at least in my car. However, Honda really should address this issue if lots of buyers are having a major problem with it.
Honda got this model right!
After 3 Camrys we went with an Accord this time around. Honda did a great job tweaking various things to significantly improve what had been a very good car for many years. Handling and ride superb for this price class. Fine blend of power and gas mileage. Went with EX-L because of several features we really wanted. Recently returned from a 1600 mile trip. Very comfortable car on this long trip. One negative: tire pressure monitor system frequently gives false notice of pressure problem. Still a very good, reliable car. Tire wear has been very even and good (as has brakes). Also has been good in the snow.
