I leased a 2000 Accord and traded in for the new Accord. It is completely redesigned and has more power and features than its predecessor. New features such as a 160hp V-4, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD are just some of the reasons as well as Honda's reliability. Great car, guys!

Since the first day at the dealership I have loved my Honda. Honda's have been in my family for years and we can't see ourselves driving anything else.If I could have afforded two I would have bought another but for now one is enough.

This is my second Honda Accord EX. My first was a 1998. I actually like the body type of the 1998 better than the 2003. However, I like the additional ammenities in the 2003 better. The ride is fantastic. You would never guess you are driving a 4 cylinder car. I love it!

Overall my car has served me well over the course of 52K miles in 5 or so years. I only had to get new tires (with alignment), 4 new brake pads, and regular oil changes (Free of charge because of promo). My ride is well excellent with only me in the car, but when it comes to 4, the car becomes a little soggy. Overall, it's been an honor owning my accord.

I purchased my Honda based on the reliability of all reports I read. I had always owned Pontiacs in the past. I am extremely diligent with maintenance. A considerable expense with Honda. I had several problems that cost me additional repairs. Interior light problems, trim not staying on. Storage compartment door broke on 3 occasions. The navi system started acting up. The cost of the navi system was $2,000 when I purchased the car. Today I was told the system needed to be replaced for $5,351. Yet, the cost for a new 2009 Honda Accord with navi is still only approx $2000 more than w/out. What a gimmick! Be warned! Don't waste your money!

If I were to write a detailed review... I would go on for days. This machine is at the top of its class. It is stylish, comfortable and sporty at an extremely affordable price tag. The interior is roomy with plenty of leg and head room for both driver and passengers. The car looks beautiful from the outside. The driving is amazing. I have a 4 cylinder engine, but it provides me with more than enough speed and power for driving in the city and on the highway. This car is a must have for people who like to be pampered, but do not have the budget to get a BMW or Mercedez.

I caution anyone considering buying this car. I bought the car brand new relying on Honda's history. The transmission suddenly blew up at 80K. I did every scheduled maintenance and more on the car. I contact the Honda dealership where I bought it and they offered to replace the transmission for $5500 or sell me a new 2009. I walked out of the dealership, sold the car and bought a BMW. Never again will I buy a HONDA.

I bought this car largely because of perceived perceptions on Honda's reliability. Just after 36,000 miles, my radio console lost power. I took it back to the dealership and fortunately Honda payed full cost for the repair because other Hondas were had the same problem. At 91,629 miles my transmission failed without warning. I called Honda corporate to complain, and was given a case no. Took it to the dealership and Honda agreed to pay for half the cost to replace the transmission which was $1725. Honda provided a new 3 year/36000 mile warranty. I am very glad Honda helped with these problems, but these are not problems I would expect from a Honda.

We traded up from the 2002 EX V6, an excellent car. But now it's like wow! The sound system is better. The navigation system. The interior room even larger. Performance with the 240hp V6 is breathtaking. The ride is more sportier this year with 16"wheels and a tighter suspension but still very comfortable. The drive by wire(no throttle cable) actually gives smoother throttle response, especially from a stop. Dual climate control is heaven. You can have the vehicle do or change whatever you want it to do just by asking it. Great voice recognition and the trip computer with all its various function are great.

Honda needs to add improvements before competitors catch up with all their standard features. An EX should have many features regardless if its EX EXL or EXV6. The V6 is way too pricey but when compared toa camry xle 4 cyl. (which has more useful features than the accord) the camry is a lot more less pricewise, but id have to admit. it sucks driving it. so kudos to honda for making a great machine that only sips fuel, but features are a little lackluster. Cmon they need those gassy support hydraulic hood things, those manual rods can get really dangerous...its an EX HONDA!!! it needs better thoguht to other details as well.

No problems with build quality (squeaks, rattles-as posted elsewhere). Enjoy the refined engine and 5-speed manual transmission. Have peace of mind that comes with Honda's reputation. I have owned it for 2 years. It is 5 years old now. The leather on the driver seat has a small crack, and in a door, there is a ringing noise from a loose screw. Other than that, I'm impressed, I have had to veer out of trouble once and it handled superbly. Mileage is great, it is maintenance friendly. The cockpit is set up well and stylish, which will add to its longevity. The lumbar support is great. Leather is the way to go for ease of cleaning. The rims are stylish, and easy to clean without being flashy. The stereo is great with the 6 disc changer. For this particular year, I think the Accord beats out most of its competitors. Camry I think is good too, just preference.

I purchased a new 1986 Honda Accord DX in 1986. That car was with me through thick and thin. My new car is quite a step up. But the old car's reliability allowed for a big down payment on the new car. I test drove a BMW 325i, Infiniti G35 and Acura TL. The 2004 Honda Accord that I purchased proved to be the best buy for the money. A 240 horsepower engine that runs on regular gas sealed the deal for me. I would have liked the Acura but the Honda is the next best thing. I drive it daily and love the XM radio and Navigation. Voice recognition makes quit an impression on passengers. Leather seats are comfortable. The back seat space allows for maximum comfort rear seat passengers.

Very smooth, very quiet, excellent interior for a car that costs $25K. Controls and switches are best-in-any- class. The engine, always Honda's forte, is incredible. Seats are a big improvement over previous generations and might be the best car seats I've ever experienced. Exterior styling is OK, except the rear-view (of the 4dr sedan) needs to be reconsidered.

A quick note about this car, we traded it to my wife's mom, it has a power driver's seat and gives her enough of a boost to see over the steering wheel. I must say that this car is the only car that I have ever driven that the acceleration actually scared me. We have an '07 accord V6 that is supposed to be identical, the '04 will eat it for lunch. This car is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made. It is ironic that this "little old lady" has this sleeper.

I sell real estate and I get a lot of compliments on the car. As a full time driver with 30-35 thousand miles a year on a car I am in this automobile a lot. There is a clunking sound when you turn corners, back up a distinctive shift clunk! I hate that about this car.The second thing I did not like was the navigation system was not up to date. Any street that is 5 years or more was indicated on the system, but new things are not. They tell me the disks are updated every 5 years. In a area where there are new subdivisions and it constantly grows you need more up to date CD’s. On star gives live up to the minute information.

GOOD: Best car I have ever owned - does everything well. Good compromise between handling and ride comfort (after new tires, read below). Extremely reliable and well built. Can't live without the navigation system - best I have used. Touch screen makes it easy to enter data while creeping along in city traffic. With many nav systems you must be in park or be stopped to operate, but not with this one. XM radio is voice operated. Intuitive controls. Separate driver-side and passenger-side set-and-forget temperature control. BAD: No sex appeal. Not bluetooth compatible. With automatic, easy to accidentally select third gear (D3) instead of fifth (D).

Again Honda proves that it makes the most sensible mid-sized car. It is a great design with great quality execution. I have owned several Accords, and presently also own an 02 Accord. Though I was initially hesitant about the unconventional looks of this latest design,I am more than won over by the aerodynamics, safety, fuel economy, low emissions, interior room, and acceleration. The car was delivered with zero defects. With Honda you get much more than you pay for and as a bonus you also have great resale.

Wife totaled our Lexus, (just a small bruise). Did about 6 weeks of research. Honda always came out on top. only about 200 miles on it, no complaints so far. I like it better than the Lexus, for about $10,000 less. The 240hp will flat move you on down the road. Takes a few days to get use to the Nav,CD and radio controls. Nav is awesome, and I really like the XM Radio. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

I presently have 59,000 miles on this car and it has never broke down once. The only thing that it has had is a new set of brake pads which you could expect at 50 to 60 thousand miles. Honda only requires it's oil to be changed every 10,000 miles. It gets great gas mileage for a 4 banger, about 28 mpg on the average. I have never owned such a reliable car as this one. I hope to keep it for a long time to come. It has a comfortable ride, handles well, and takes care of my pocketbook. Glad I bought this car instead of another Mopar.

I bought this car while in college at 40,000 miles and it is currently at 105,000. It has gotten me through career changes (1400 miles away from home) and the only major issues were the air conditioner capacitor blew (nothing blew out of vents), rotor problems, and major road noise (which is my least fav part) but other than that I love driving with my sunroof down and knowing my ride won't die!

I am very pleased by this vehicle for over fours year, I only replaced AC transistor unit ($150) due to I switch on and off AC too many times; Honda paid for my wiper motor last year. Fuel economy is amazing for a V6. It says 18-27 mpg but my on-board computer tells it is 23+ in city and 32-34 mpg on high way if I cruise on 75 mph. I was considering trading in this babe for a 2008 Accord V6. After test driving, I still love mine. It is more responsive and fuel efficient.

Had been looking at the new Acura TSX. I know it has 40 more horsepower than the 4 cylinder Accord, but that couldn't justify the $4000 savings I got by buying the Accord. The Accord will probably maintain its resale value just as well. The Honda dealer was willing to deal, and the Acura dealer was not. Very happy with the $500 over invoice deal.

Bought another Honda. This makes the sixth Honda product my family (3 people) has purchased over 15 years. The EX V6 with Navi has all the goodies. The biggest improvement is the silky smooth transmission, now a 5 speed, power and rigidity. Its simply a ball to drive! Why pay $35-$40,000 when you can get the whole package for under $27,000.

For the last 15 years I have driven Mercedes Benz automobiles. Honestly it was part of my image, I took tremendous pride in the appearance of my vehicle a 500SL convertible which I had paid over 85k. At 46k miles I experienced several mechanical breakdowns so I took it to the dealer without any help: Fustrated I rented a enterprise rental vehicle (a honda Accord) to drive 500miles I was so happy I sold my mercedes and purchased this flawless Accord with Navigation system. I must admit I don't get the thumbs up from passers bye but the overall confidence of this vehicle and predictability factor is worth it!!..

I researched several other cars, including the Camry, Impala, Malibu, Mazda 6, Nissan Altima, to name a few and no other vehicle even came close to gaining my allegience. Myself, my wife and 3 kids test drove a 2004 Camry over to the Honda dealership, but after getting out and looking just at the sexy body style, simultaneously said "you might as well take the Camry back to the dealership", because it was a no brainer decision. The Accord is far more appealing inside and out. I paid $14,500 for my '89 Accord Coupe LXi 15 years ago and just paid $23,200 for a loaded 2004 Accord EX-L with XM Radio. The Honda Accord is still the best value on the market!

While no car is perfect for all this one is great for many. Just got this recently from my dad's estate in Az. Drove it to Maryland and have used it for a few months and now ready to sell. First off I will miss it. This car combines very good acceleration with great fuel economy for the size. It sits and transports four full sized adults and all their stuff comfortably. It rides on the stiff side but in return provides great control. If you want cushy and floaty buy a Buick or Camry. If you like apexes and sweeping on ramps this is for you. I have achieved mpg 20's in town and low 30's on the open road. Not at all bad for the level of comfort, performance, and reliability.

I went with the Accord EX V6 sedan with leather after finding an incredible price over the internet with this dealership. The woman whom I corresponded with was a delight as well. The car took some getting used to, as visibility is not too good with blind spots in the rear and front right. With all the luxury features, I was disappointed that it didn't have heated rearview mirrors. Have had a small spot of dash around radio flake off, but other than that, no interior problems, no squeaks or rattles at all. Brakes are grabby and warning squeak has started after only 12000 miles. Ride is stiff and you feel each crack in the road. It's not a soft ride, if that's what you prefer. A quality car.

Bought the car from a freind of my brother at a Chicag dealership and just drove it back home to Boston. A 1,000-mile drive is a pretty good crash course in what a car is like. I considered them all, but this car is INSANE! The power of the 3.0L V6 is just beyond words. The design and attention to detail is a cut above whatever's #2 in this class. This car is an Acura in all but name. I got it in white with the tan interior. People ooh and ahh when they see it. She's a beauty.

I am so happy i went for the Honda Accord over the Mazda6 and Toyota Corolla/Camry. Just a cut above the rest. The dependibilty of honda made this an easy decision, retains value compared to any other sedan. I expect to hold onto this vehicle for several years and keep most of its value. Feels so comfy and cozy. Rides like a gem! Radio (AM/FM - reception... NOT CD/Audio system) is only notable problem... and slight at that (only noticed when volume levels are up over 80%). I love this car, extended the the full warranty.. but probably didn't need to! Thanks Honda for a GREAT CAR! 23/Male California. Previous cars include 92 Chevy Cavalier, 92 Nissan Maxima, 94 Ford escort, 99 Nissan Exterra.

The 2004 drives great and fits like a glove. From the moment you climb aboard you feel in control of something special. It handles great and has plenty of juice when you need to pass that annoying slow poke in the left- hand lane.
